Room was warm but a fan was provided. There was an Automobile Car Club meeting on and as the people who were attending waited they smoked outside the Hotel doors subsequently cigarette smoke rose and our room was above (not hotels fault though - just the observation) Restaurant was shut despite booking dot com stating it would be open for our stay on the website, however the Bus Stop Diner opposite was open so food was acquired

Loved the breakfast. Lots of different food options, hot and cold. Good location in town for Vernon shops and restaurants, church, paths, and exploration of a neat little town. Great path down by the river.

If you're not much of a walker and want to see the Monet Gardens and impressionist museum in Giverny, we could only find public transportation by the Vernon train station. Otherwise, expect to take an Uber, taxi, etc to those locations. Also, and this may be common in European hotels, the toilet in the room was in a separate room than the sink and shower.

Nice hotel in a good location in the centre of town The room was spacious with a large comfortable bed. A seoersye entrance lobby with a private bathroom with large sower area. The bathroom was fitted out to accommodate persons with disabilities which given the fact that Normandy is visited by many veterans I felt was a great touch The bar and lounge area complete with pool table and football game was in a word brilliant and the restaurant very nice wit great service Breakfast was pretty goood with a choice of hot and fond food. Better than I expected when booking

Nothing all good

The hotel is in a convenient part of town. The room was very clean, spacious and well decorated. Having an area to put clothes and a safety deposit box was also a plus. The bed was extremely comfortable. The bar area was also very nice.

The bath was so narrow that it made getting in and out very difficult (and we are not big people). There were no tea or coffee making facilities and the car parking spaces were rather challenging, even with a medium sized car.

Gorgeous historic building and property; our one "estate" experience in France. Wonderful location, proximity to town centre. Very friendly staff. Free off-street parking. Excellent, newly refurbished, attractive and comfortable room with all desired amenities. Huge bathroom.

Unavoidable risk of one's head knocking a beam in this attic room, but we knew that going in. Tall folks should avoid this room! One of the charming porthole windows was unopenable. No lift: a lift would have been awesome for our third-level room. Breakfast was a bit pricey on top of the room, so we opted to go out, which was very easy with many options close by.

The rooms we booked were nice and roomy and very comfortable. We spent night so that we could go to Giverny in the morning. We didn’t book breakfast, but changed our minds and it was very good. So glad that we found this hotel.

Honestly, it was perfect for our trip. Perhaps a negative for some would be parking. We did have a rental car and just had to find public parking on our own. We fortunately found a lot close and since it was after hours the meters were off and back on the next morning at 8am, so we did not have to pay. I don’t remember the prices exactly, but if we had parked during pay hours, it wasn’t that much.

Warm welcome, room size, an already reserved parking (although we didn't need to use it thanks to availability at the public parking just besides the hotel). The hotel is situating exactly at the center, at very short walk distances to restaurants and the river side. We had aimed Vernon for a next day visit to Giverny, which is at around 5-10 min distance by car. We recommend arrival to Vernon not later than around 19:00 hrs if you want to benefit from nice restaurants nearby. We think that we stayed at the best hotel in Vernon, and we can sincerely recommend it to others.

Loved the breakfast . Open early, comfortable wit good food

Tried to check out at 6:45 a.m and the desk clerk did not speak English, but I managed to make myself understood. The man at the desk most of the day was so helpful getting us taxis and a driver back to Paris, not to mention a bottle of champagne in the library by the fire while we waited for our rooms. So nice. Merci beaucoup!

Room was exceptional, as you would expect for the price, with attractive design features and practical comfort features such as USB charge sockets. The bathroom was likewise attractive and smart - we loved the privacy window between room and bathroom - the glass is clear or milky at the touch of a switch!

The breakfast buffet was understaffed, and the one staff member was unfriendly. There were not always enough clean glasses or cups for the beverages. The food was great, however.

A good size bedroom and walk in shower. The room was very clean with a large TV and heavy curtains to keep the sunlight out. The hotel restaurant had a good quality restaurant at very reasonable prices.

The mattresses were a bit soft. The hotel parking is not easy for larger cars. We managed to park our car very close to the hotel.
