Extremely good value for what you get. The room is exactly what we needed for a one night stay, but would be comfortable for a longer stay too. Great that we could access the kitchen. Perfect location, the bus into the city comes every 30 mins and the bus stop is right outside. 15 minutes in total with the bus ride and short walk. Would highly recommend staying here for anyone travelling on a budget.

The only downside was at 6am on the day of departure there seemed to be some kind of deliveries arriving, with 2 or 3 trucks or vans, and the delivery people were not very considerate of the hour of the morning and the residents that would more than likely still be sleeping. This seems a very early hour to be making such deliveries to an accommodation/residence space.

The room was clean and is good for short stays. Loved the campus. Location is convenient too. Around 20 min by car from city centre. Parking on the campus was first come first served basis. There's a free car park 400m away from the property that could be used.

Our room dint have warm/hot water in the bathroom. The staff tried to help, offered another room for washroom and increased our check out time too but the issue was not resolved till we left. We only stayed for a night so managed. Also, toiletries were not provided. They only had soaps.

I loved the proximity to public transport and to the river walk. The staff were welcoming and the place was clean and comfortable. The kitchen was well equipped with what we needed to cook our meals and games rooms besides the reception were an added bonus. I also liked that there was a SPAR right on the corner and that laundry facilities were available.

Would have loved if there was a fan as it got a little hot when temperatures were high at night. I’m just used to having a fan in my room.

Great value for money. Nice clean room with not only normal sockets but also USB chargers, so no adapter was necessary to charge our electronics. Very well equipped shared kitchen and onside gym. Also there is a store where you can get basic groceries and a bus stop llocated just next to the accommodation.

You could see right through to our room from the street, and there wasn't free parking provided in the complex; however, there is free parking about 400 meters along the road.

Good location with a bus to the city centre every 15-20 minutes. Car parking available on the premises for a fee but we used a free parking located just a 5 min walk away on a nearby street. Clean and modern facilities, shared kitchen is well-equipped with a comfortable dining and lounge area.

The bed could have been a bit larger to comfortably accommodate two adults. The dishwasher wasn’t emptied for several days, despite being told that someone was in charge of it. It would have also been nice to have a water fountain in the kitchen area rather than only at the reception, which was located in a separate building.

Westwood Accommodation in Galway was great! It took us back to our college days! But our dorms were nowhere as accommodating as Westwood! We would have loved to live in dorms like these in the 1970’s! The building common areas on the first floor looked inviting. But it was more convenient to use the common areas on our floor: kitchen, dining table, tv Room for 2 Availability?. There were few folks on our floor, so we had these to ourselves. Westwood relies on the honor system for use of the fridge. No one drank our Guinness!

Would have loved to be in the city center, but the availability of a bus on both cross streets mitigated that!

Very happy with my 2 night stay. Excellent kitchen facilities and fully equipped with cups, plates etc. There is a games room and cinema which I did not use but hopefully will use the next time. Also a regular enough bus service around the corner from the accommodation which took about 15-20 mins into Galway and stops at Eyre Square so very central

The fan in the bathroom was very loud and stayed on for ages after leaving the bathroom which kept me awake. Also the safety blind (not sure what it’s called) on the outside of the window was quite loud but there was really bad wind so on the normal night that probably wouldn’t be the case

Its very clean and cozy. Room was set to 22 degrees, was great- at times- when its cold. Very close to the bus stop, very handy. The price was convenient. Has some great facilities advertised. (I personally was unable to use them tbh). The location was peaceful and quiet considering it was an apt.

It would be helpful for at least a kettle in the apt. There would be a common kitchen I suppose. But it would have been outside of the room (small inconvenience, not that of a big deal). Sometimes the water supply in the shower- was short supply/ pressure ? I kind of took a longer shower- than usual. Other wise great overall accomodation.

Brand new building and facilities located 2km away from city centre but well connected with a bus. The parking on site is payable but there’s a free parking lot at just 3 mins walk. Rooms are quite small but they’re fine if you’re only staying a couple of nights. Shared kitchen on each floor for up to 7 rooms on the same corridor. There’s a useful tiny grocery shop just outside the building which closes at 10pm. You can use the gaming, lounge and cinema room for free.

Rooms are quite small and the bed is tight for 2 people and only accessible by one side, so not recommended for people with mobility issues. No toiletries provided except for 1 tiny soap, and no hairdryer. Very few utensiles provided in the kitchens, not enough for people from separate rooms to cook at the same time.

The room was nice and clean and it was quite spacious too!! All the staff we interacted with were helpful and friendly!

Depending on what apartment block you’re in, the one facing the road can have quite a lot of noise at night if you’re a light sleeper. They’re a little out of town but right next to a bus stop which is good, however the buses were alway running about 10-15 minutes behind schedule so just keep that in mind if you have to be somewhere by a certain time :)
