We loved everything about Sara Resort! A little slice of paradise on a beautiful island. Our bungalow was clean and comfortable, with good air-conditioning and a decent shower. All the staff were very welcoming, friendly and super helpful. The breakfast offer is varied and delicious. Restaurant food - especially the nightly beach BBQ - is all excellent. The pool is large and clean, with lots of loungers and great cabana beds.

Would have been an extra bonus to have a fridge in the bungalow, bit it wasn't an issue. The doors could do with sealing to stop bugs from getting into the bungalow.

Excellent resort and staff

Sadly saracen bay beach perfect white tropical sand was disgusting covered in plastic bottles and other non degradable pollution the staff spent 4 hours per day trying there best to collect in plastic bags but made little difference and back again in the morning was told only happens when wind in certain direction coming from the mainland and nobody there appears to care The islanders can only do there best

This was our second visit to Sara Resort. We will definitely return. The grounds were beautiful with a beautiful stretch of beach and many options for where to sit. We stayed in a private bungalow which we loved. The staff were friendly and we even had a free intro dive class in the beautiful pool.

I was a little disappointed by another traveler who stayed in the bed beach lounge drinking and playing loud videos all day long for two days without regard for other guests that may have wanted more peace and quiet. This isn't the resorts fault as it was a guests behavior, though it was unsettling for the restful peace after two days of this behavior there. Still there were plenty of other seating options which we found quite cozy and much quieter at the resort. I will still come back as this place is truly lovely beyond the guest that was temporarily there.

Absolutely amazing stay at what is certainly the best hotel on the island. - The room although a little small was clean and comfortable, good a/c and nice bathroom including good shower. - Breakfast was great, a choice of both western and local options. All dishes were substantial. - Pool area is spotless, and there are ample sun beds. The atmosphere was lovely and relaxed, and staff were on hand to take drink orders from the pool bar. - We enjoyed the food in the restaurant all 3 nights we stayed here. There are a number of tables set up on the beach itself with the water lapping in. The food itself was tasty and reasonably priced considering you’re on an island where fresh food is delivered every day. We’d highly recommend going for the bbq - the squid was fantastic. - Pick up and drop off from/to the pier was included. The atmosphere in general at the hotel was just great. It was busy without being overcrowded, relaxed without being boring and the only regret is that we didn’t stay longer!

Wow fantastic pool and cabanas, Food and staff where also fantastic.. I stayed in a bungalow was totally amazing large screen tv with Netflix and good pressure hot shower and super cool air con .. value for money was also amazing , stayed before at a much higher rate.. now it’s not high season got a great deal on booking.com and extend directly at a matched price deal .. recommend the nightly bbq… also a lot of western staff that where always extremely helpful along with all the Khmer staff that certainly went above and beyond.. lots to do , lots to see plenty of food and drink and just wonderful to swim in the large pool and grab a cocktail from there special beach side cocktail bar .. Highly recommended to absolutely every age and every country

Swimming pool closed at 11 pm and I wanted to swim at 12 and ten security guard stopped me .. But I’d had a little to drink so probably best to be honest

Poolside is really nice and a very good spot to relax with good music. However, in the bungalows we didn't hear the music from the pool (we were in the bungalows a little further at the back). The bungalows are well equipped with a safe etc, the water pressure could be a little better (but there is hot water). We had some construction noise but the staff was extremely helpful in resolving the situation. Indeed, during our entire stay the staff was just perfect. The food at the restaurant is the best of the entire beach, really amazing. One waiter deserves special praise, Piseth was just great!

The beautiful Sara resort is located right on the white sandy beach of Koh Rong Sanloem. The rooms are very nice with very good air con. The pool is very attractive with a very convenient pool side bar . The happy hour is also very reasonable with great 2 for 1 cocktails and beers . The hotel also very central to other hotels and bars and a lovely relaxing beach walk. The hotel staff were excellent, they even upgraded our room free of charge and organised an early morning breakfast for us to take with us as we were getting the 06.30 boat back to Sihanoukville. Overall very relaxing stay and great value for money . We would highly recommend Sara resort to anyone .

The beautiful Sara resort is located right on the beach front overlooking beautiful white sand and fishing boats . It has a wonderful pool and pool bar with very reasonably priced drinks . Also the 2 for 1 happy hour drinks in the evening were a bonus ! The staff were very friendly and helpful at all times . We even got a free upgrade on our room which was very appreciated. The hotel even organised an early morning breakfast box for us to take as we were getting the 6am boat back to Sihanoukville . Over all It was an extremely relaxing and stunning hotel and would highly recommend to anyone planning on visiting Koh Rong Sanloem.
