Even during the booking period, I contacted Phil and Kate via email to alert them of my mum's condition and accessibility. I got a response within 24 hours, followed by a phone call. I was absolutely blown away with their response. On arrival, we were greeted by Phil, and he was extremely helpful(what a guy) He helped us all to our rooms and reassured me that my mum would be fine, and if she needed to use the stairlift, he would accommodate. The rooms were clean and airy and had every accessory to make our stay comfortable. Even down to jar of hot chocolate and biscuits to the bathroom essentials. The food is amazing, we ordered evening meals due to my parents wanting to relax. I can recommend the salmon, steak pie, cottage pie, and wowzer to their dessert menu. Absolutely brilliant stay from young to old. Thank you, Phil and Kate.

That we only booked for a short stay

Great location for the south beachfront, wonderfully friendly staff and a clean well equipped room with a surprisingly large amount of storage. Lots of choice at breakfast. Absolutely superb value for money! Would definitely stay here again on a future visit to Bridlington.

my one and only negative would be the poor water pressure in the shower, however with only staying one night this really didn't matter at all

The staff were extremely friendly. They were flexible with our late check-in, and really pleasant, helpful and accommodating at all times. The room was clean, quiet and comfortable. The breakfast was good - plenty of options, attentive staff, pleasant bright dining room. The location was central and easy to find. It was just a short walk from the beach, the shops/amusements and the station. Would definitely recommend.

Everything best, b&b, we have stayed in by miles. Phil and Kate were a lovely couple. The breakfast was well presented and tasted great. If you needed anything, they would do their best to sort it Phil was a moaning old sod (his words not mine) he kept a well stocked bar and kept us entertained all night. We will definitely be going back, will recommend Brockton to all.

There is nothing to dislike.

Friendly family hotel. Very comfortable. Clean. Facilities excellent. Food wonderful home cooking. Very friendly. Phil and Kate always came and had a chat with guests. Nothing was too much trouble. I’ll be happy to return. Thank you both very much for making my stay very enjoyable.

Lovely little guest house , small bar open in the evening, hosts were good company, very nice breakfast, fresh cooked and delicious bacon and sausage. Phil and Kate are very welcoming and nothing is too much trouble.

It was in the perfect location, the owners were so welcoming and helpful, they couldn’t help enough, the room was clean and comfortable and the breakfast was lovely, I will definitely stay again the next time I am in Bridlington 👍🏼

Nothing - all good

I have stayed at Brockton several times and I have enjoyed every stay! The breakfast is excellent value for money and very tasty. The room was very clean. I hope to return again soon.

Good location in quiet area near the promenade, well equipped and comfortable rooms, friendly owners and a delicious breakfast.

Could have done with a decaf coffee option in the room for drinking later in the day.
