This was my 2nd visit to LaDime and I hope to come back again someday. It is a quiet and peaceful property with amazing spaces around to enjoy a glass of wine or just relax. The breakfast was delicious and the rooms are all very unique with a lovely twist of contemporary and old rural France. It is a short walk up the street to Monet’s garden and has easy access from the train station in Vernon followed by a short shuttle bus ride to Giverny. The hosts are friendly and accommodating and our stay was very lovely. Cannot recommend this place enough!

We booked this property specifically to visit Claude Monet’s house and gardens. It is in a perfect location in Giverny, so quiet and peaceful in a lane away from the main road where all the tourists gather daily. The property is set around a courtyard, it’s very old and charming and it has been furnished beautifully. Surrounding it are large well kept gardens to relax in and plenty of parking. Breakfast was fresh and plentiful, served by a cheerful lady with a smile! They have a terrace cafe where we served drinks when we arrived, we sat on the terrace overlooking the beautiful gardens. The bedroom was clean and comfortable, we slept well after walking many thousands of steps exploring the lovely village.

We arrived before official check in time, although we had sent a message to the owners, it hadn’t been confirmed. When we arrived there was a party taking place in the courtyard and we couldn’t find our way to reception, we didn’t feel like we could disturb the party! No one was available for us to ask where we should go. Eventually we found a very helpful lady who was cleaning another part of the property, we couldn’t converse well but I showed her my booking.com confirmation and after making some calls, she was able to get the key and show us to our room. We were never welcomed by the owners/managers or introduced to them.

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay here - a little oasis in Giverny. Lovely room with opening windows and garden views, old wooden beams and good sized room. Due to flight cancellations we arrived later than planned but were still welcomed and shown to our room which we appreciated. A fan was provided, however the open windows were all we needed and as it was quiet this worked for us. A simple but good European style breakfast served in a beautiful dining area by friendly owner/host. Good on site parking and areas to sit outside in the garden which is also a lovely relaxed garden to be in. An easy walk to the Giverny Monet Garden which we really enjoyed. Getting there early (as we did) or late in the afternoon is the best option as the bus crowds do flock in around 10.00 and whilst we did the pond area first (to enjoy it when it was a bit quieter) there was a queue for the house area by the time we got there, but worth the wait to visit. After our visit we had lunch in the outdoor courtyard area at La Brasserie des Artistes after our garden visit and the food was good. We also visited the Musee des Impressionism next to the restaurant which was good and has rotating impressionist artists exhibitions throughout the year. The garden area was also really good to wander through after lunch and worth a visit. The hotel is close to the main part of the Giverny village and we had a good dinner at the Baudy hotel. The village is quiet in the evenings as it seemed that a lot of the visitors come during the day. If you are looking to eat out in Giverny, be mindful that some of the restaurants are closed on Tuesday/Wednesday. We would definitely recommend staying at La Dime du Giverny here again.

Although not a problem for us, due to the age of the building and working around this, (which is why it is as charming as it is) the room we were in did have a step down to the separate toilet, which might be an issue for some people.

Somewhat gloomy interior with rather tired decor and furnishings, but mattress was comfortable I had to remove the duvet as it was too hot for summer; no top sheet or blankets available in room Lots of various pillows and bolster! Otherwise no desk or easy chairs in bedroom and lighting initially inadequate for reading!

This was such a charming property with a great location, as you could easily walk to restaurants and the Monet House. Comfy bed, large room, modern bath and quiet area. Loved the beautiful reception hall and the wonderfully served breakfast! We didn't have enough time to explore the grounds, but they looked lovely from the windows. The host was friendly and helpful and made us feel welcome. We would stay here again in a heartbeat.

It was just a bit challenging finding the place in our car. It took a couple of go-rounds with GPS, but we made it!

This beautiful historic property is located very close to the main area of Giverny. We were able to walk to the areas of interest as well as local restaurants. The room was clean and modern, and the beds were quite comfortable, though the "sit down" shower took some maneuvering!

We didn't receive a very warm welcome upon arrival and the overall feeling of the property is very quiet. It would have been nice to have been provided some information about the history of the property, as well as some written instructions for basic things (i.e. Wifi password, local restaurants, etc.).

What a location, right in the middle of Giverny - 5 mins walk from Monet's house. Beautiful house and gardens, warm welcome and dinner offer - together with a great breakfast.

Very little. Breakfast only started at 0900, and we needed to leave for a ferry, so had a bit of a rush. Apart from that,

The place is really nice. The hostess was very friendly and helpful with recommendations for dinner. The best was breakfast. According to all members of the family it was the best breakfast we had during our stay in France.

We came late. It was dark and the entrance was small and there were no lights abo or near it, so it was hard to locate it. But when I called the hostel's answered right away and helped us to find it.

Great location and facility. All was as advertised. We arrived later, local restaurants were closed and we were offered fresh soup, charcuterie and Bordeaux wine. All in a cosey setting what more could you ask for. We arrived October 25 and the room was comfortable and warm. Breakfast was fresh and delicious. Easy walk to the museum and Monet's house. Would stay here again.

The property and gardens are beautiful. Plenty of parking and very close to Monet's House & Gardens - the reason for our stay. Cleanliness was exceptional. Good breakfast.

It was extremely hot on our arrival. The rooms had fans but no aircon, however, this is to be expected for the age of the property.
