Paris Suites reminded me of a non-chain tourist hotel in Europe. It was decorated in a Baroque style with ornate furniture, marble, dark rich colors, etc. It was just over 1 mile to the BJK Tennis Center, with most of the walk through a park (note there were no streetlights through most of the park--yikes). It is about a 10 minute taxi ride from LGA. Room was decent and clean (had a fridge!), AC worked, Direct TV had no ESPN/ABC (not hotel's fault, but fyi in case you plan on watching football), shower water pressure was very low, bed was on the firm side, which I like but some may not. Front desk staff was friendly.

No restaurants immediately nearby (nearest was a Columbian cafe about 10 minute walk). Area was a little bit sketchy. No baggage check/hold.

We loved how it is decorated both inside and out. Whomever is in charge of their interior design is amazing. The lobby area is so full of beautifully arranged, eclectic pieces. So much so that every time I passed through, I saw something new I hadn't seen before. The fish are especially gorgeous touch at the desk. Also, the attention to detail in our room was top-notch as well. All of the staff members were so friendly and attentive. For the price we booked the room for it was an exceptional deal.

Honestly? There isn't anything we didn't like!

I mean you get what you pay for. It’s dated but overall not too bad. My husband and I came up from Maryland for a funeral. I think I would come back if it’s a short overnight stay.

The water pressure, pillows, sheets. I think the hallways are too cluttered with mirrors and pictures. Less is more!! Parking was horrible and someone put a dent in our car. I think you should say parking is first come first serve.

My stay at the Paris Hotel in Corona, NY., exceeded my expectations. The staff was friendly and looked out for my family's welfare. The staff was approachable and answered all my questions patiently and with a smile. Although parking was limited the hotel staff went the extra mile to direct us when a space became available. I felt safe at the hotel. The rooms were well-furnished and the flat-screen TV worked well. The staff takes pride in making sure the bathroom is sanitary. The ambience of the hotel was unique, creative, and professional. The lobby sitting area had good coffee and an available microwave and other amenities. This hotel deserves more than a three-star rating.

I like the eclectic nature of the place: the paintings, the decorations, and the fish at the front desk.

I was prepared for the place to a dive. I was so glad to find out it is a super place to stay. It's like an indie film. You're going to Paris Suites because you want a meaningful story not a Hollywood rollercoaster ride.

The staff were very kind and helpful throughout our stay. Arriving in busy Queens can be frazzling to say the least, but the reservation desk relaxed us, found solutions to our problems, and checked us in quickly. The hotel is comfortable and so close to the US Open arena and other great spots. They were even able to help us with parking.

The hotel itself is quirky in appearance and needs a few capital improvements. Your first impressions can be offputting. The rooms were clean, but some of the systems (air conditioning) weren't brand new.

I enjoyed staying in this hotel. The room was cleaned every day, there was coffee on the first floor. The staff was friendly and welcoming.

The only inconvenience is the location. This hotel is located a bit far from Manhattan, so need to wake up early if you want to see a lot of sights.

They did not offer breakfast

I had a issue with Booking.com but the hotel could not help at all. At the very least I did expect the hotel to offer me a direct number for Booking Com in which I have not been able to contact after hours of trying. I just gave up in frustration. I will never use Booking. Com again

At first, I thought the hotel was way too far from NY center. It is. But bus stops are just one hundred meters away from the hotel ; so no trouble to get back lately at Paris Suites. Very, very clean. Decoration a little astonishing, but hey! We are in NY! Price is ok for NY.

A laundry in the hôtel would be a nice idea.

Loved the location for walking to Queens/71st avenue. Also close to the BJK tennis center. The staff were lovely and very helpful and friendly. Great price for NYC.

The room was clean but could use a bit of updating. It is right next to the highway so there is definitely street noise. I was not bothered by it but others might be.
