I had an amazing stay at Marakasa B&B and would 100% come back. My room was spotless and the bed was very confortable. Patricia, the host, is very welcoming, kind and helpful. There is a communal kitchen, which is well-equipped, as well as a communal outdoor area which is beautifully decorated. You are two streets away from the Sant Antoni beach, and a short walk away from Palamos. I did multiple day hikes of the Cami de Ronda from the B&B - they are some of the most beautiful sections I have seen so far on the Costa Brava. You can also easily take a bus to Plaja d'Aro, s'Agaro, Sant Feliu, etc. (the bus stop is a short walk from the B&B). Last but not least, the included breakfast was, as I had read in the comments, absolutely delicious. Highly recommend!

All the staff were very friendly and helpful. I felt right at home as soon as I arrived. There are many plants in the common areas which brings a hidden oasis vibe to the property. The room was very clean and the bed very comfortable. A bonus was the free breakfast in the morning. They were even accommodating to my lactose intolerance which I found very sweet. I also enjoyed that there was a community kitchen where I was able to prepare myself a quick dinner after my day of driving and also store my perishables in the fridge overnight. I would definitely stay here again!

the ladies are lovely hosts. very accomodating. Good breakfast with bread , cheese, salami , coffee, orange juice and a hot option which changes. room was clean. centre of town , very close to beach . coffee shop / bar around the corner. Mercadona and a Spar within a very short walk. communal kitchen with fridge but does not have a cook top. bed comfy but would like better pillows .. but then I am fussy with pillows ! air con in the room , although we never found the remote control , ceiling fan and a radiator . there is a small but friendly dog here who will be your friend at breakfast ;) Personally, I’d touch up some peeling paint in the room .

the dog next door that hates anyone passing by . there are 2 but one is very annoying & I love dogs !

One minute walking distance from the beach/promenade. There was a very nice clothes shop in the alley leading to the promenade, and restaurants immediately available. Host looked online for a parking space for me. The host made a nice breakfast in the little courtyard. The room had a spare single bed which was separate from the double room, which could have been used at no extra charge.

The staff are all amazing, super helpful with recommendations of the area and prepared a delicious breakfast for us! The room is very comfortable, and the whole BnB is very cozy and relaxing with tons of plants and quiet places to sit and enjoy both indoors and outdoors. Would definitely recommend to anyone visiting the beautiful Costa Brava region!

I would definitely recommend Marakasa. The House vibe is great, cheerful and peaceful. Rooms are perfect and the host is very warm and kind. I loved the location, very close to the best spots in Costa Brava. Also, the breakfast was delicious!

Everything was lovely. Patricia and Giselle made us feel very welcome. Comfortable room, peaceful setting among the flowers. Excellent breakfast. A lovely stay along route on the Cami de Ronda/GR92. We can recommend.

Marakaza is home Away from home. The hospitality / the warmth / the food .. just everything about this place was magic. Highly recommended. Don’t waste your time trying to find another place to stay. Gisela our host was the kindest soul. She gave us great tips of what to see and where to go. Breakfast was nice and very personalized. Could get a full vegan version. The location is very close to the beach. Loved all the plants everywhere.

The room got a little warm at night and we couldn’t find the air conditioning remote.
