Even though the property is a bit removed from the city center, public transport could get us there in 15 minutes and the privacy/countryside feel of the inn was WELL worth the sacrifice of proximity. You have a beautiful view of the mountains from afar! Breakfast was top tier, the room was very nice, clean and cozy, but the best part was easily the service/staff! Michaela did everything she could to make us feel at home and to make our trip great. She sat with us at breakfast to answer our questions about the city, she checked the weather forecast for us, leant us her umbrella, and gave us great tips for what to do during our stay. She really cared that we got the most out of our trip.

The few dislikes were the shared balcony (we wished the barrier was a bit higher between the rooms for more privacy) and the shower which drained into an area including the sink, so whenever you used the sink you had to stand in a puddle.

The views from the location were like a painting coming to life. The rooms were very clean and comfortable. The location is very close to the bus stop. The breakfast spread can easily go head to head with any star hotel option…simply amazing. The host Michaela was very attentive, informative, and helpful. We highly recommend this place to get a unique Salzburg experience.

Breathtaking view of Salzburg & the alps. Breakfast is awesome. The staff is so friendly. I arrived early & managed to get the room & check in early. I left my suitcase & took a day trip to Ramsau village in Germany. I enjoyed walking right in front of the property down to the park & and playground, crossing the small bridge to the main road. This neighbourhood is such a nice & quiet area.

There is no lift/elevator in the building. So I had to carry my suitcase onto the 2nd floor. It's more convenient in case you own or rent a car. If not, the bus station is almost 10 minutes' walk from the property. But it's such a pleasant walk through the field.

The room has a lot of space. It's decorated nicely and was very clean with a spacious bathroom. Plenty of space to put things. The area is very pretty and we had a great view of the city from our room. Lots of towels and a kettle and microwave that can be used in the common area and you can pay extra to use the kitchenette. There is a table with chairs, a couch, and a little balcony. Lots of natural light. We had a car and parking was complimentary. We were able to park right in front. Michaela is awesome! Breakfast was included and the spread was amazing! Such a wide variety and so many delicious options. Her hospitality is wonderful and we felt spoiled and special. She is kind, helpful, and made sure we felt at home. Her family was the same. Great value and wonderful home to stay in. Very close to city center and convenient if you have a car.

We stayed at the top on the 3rd floor. There are A LOT of stairs. We had more luggage that we would have liked to lug up that many stairs because we had a long trip. Additionally, the ceilings are slanted which lends to some of the charm but not great if you are a klutz or forget that you can sit up or stand up without thinking because you'll bang your head. LOL. Wonderful place, warm and cozy and incredible host. I would just request a lower floor unless you want the workout and you aren't tall.

Large room that had very comfortable large double bed, shower was superb. Room was lovely & warm which given the temps were around 0 at the warmest during my stay was very welcome. About 20 minutes walk from city centre or 5 minutes to the bus stop but area felt safe even as a solo female traveller & far enough away from the hustle and bustle of the centre that I could rest & relax when in my room. Balcony view of the mountains was stunning a particular selling point for me. Breakfast was included and very tasty buffet with plenty of choice. Owner was very helpful with tips and suggestions for local area including transport and places to go/things to see and also just a really lovely friendly lady. Very reasonable price. Owner was very accommodating to my arrival time & any other questions I had regarding my stay.

Not a dislike more a tip have cash for the city tax payment on your checking out.

Breakfast was delicious. The view from the balcony was spectacular and charming. I have taken so many photos of the view and make them my screensaver pics. The view itself makes the stay worthy. I would want to return once again some day. The room is spacious and the host is very friendly and helpful.

There are about 100 meters of road to the house is little bit tough for suitcase roller if you choose to reach the house by public transportation. If you choose by taxi, it is not a problem. The taxi fee from Salzburg Train Station is about 12 Euro.

We had the pleasure of staying at this delightful hotel for some days. Nestled in a picturesque setting, this hotel offers a perfect charm. From the moment we arrived, we were loving the beautifully landscaped grounds and the warm, welcoming atmosphere. The room was cozy, clean and tidy, with the perfect facilities for our stay. One of the highlights of our stay was the breakfast. Each morning, we were greeted with a delicious array of options, from warm bread and topping to coffee served as you like. The owner were attentive and always ready to accommodate any special requests. The hotel's location is perfect for those looking to relax and unwind, with beautiful natural surroundings that are ideal for leisurely walks or simply enjoying the view. Despite its peaceful setting, Haus Salzburgblick is conveniently close to a bus, making it easy to go to the city centrum.

A lovely place surrounded by nature. Peace & quiet. Exactly what I needed as someone living in a big city! It's located close to the city center: takes you about 10 minutes by bus #3 to get to the main station. A very good breakfast included. And what I absolutely loved about the hotel is its owners, they really take great care of you. Everyone was super friendly and helpful. First of all, I got so much information on where to go and what to do in Salzburg and its surroundings. Secondly, there was a rather strong rain on my departure day, and one of the ladies who work there was so kind that she drove me to the railway station, given that I was with a heavy suitcase and (of course) without an umbrella! I am so grateful to her. I was treated like an important guest. I really loved my stay and will probably choose this place again for my future trips to Salzburg.

I would perhaps consider replacing the ventilator and the iron with more modern versions at some point - both were not really powerful. But everything else was just amazing.

The location is easily accessible by bus and then a very short walk. Nice family neighbourhood, away from the touristy crowd. There is a vast ground behind the house from where you can see the mountains and the cityscape. There are some nice food places between 10-20 minutes walking distance. Host is very nice and friendly, she gives tips for things to do in the city. Breakfast is amazing! House is clean and cheaper than most places in the city center.

I was staying in the loft on the top floor and understandably I had to keep my head down near the bed. If you are careful, this is nothing to worry about. Everything else was great!

Perfect location for visiting Salzburg, the lakes, Hallstatt, Dachstein glacier.etc. The host is lovely and genuinely cares about guests enjoying their stay. 8 minutes walking to the bus and in around 25-30 minutes total time you are in the city center. Good breakfast, very quiet and amazing view. We came by car but we only used it inside the city to visit Hellbrunn palace, you can easily manage without a car but you have just a bit of a climb.

Really not applicable for us, we loved our stay. But what could be improved is to have a bit of oil, salt and so in the kitchenette and the breakfast to be served until 10 am.
