Grenfell Hall is a beautiful Edwardian home build in 1907, and while its had morphed into a Roman Catholic convent during the 50s, Warwick has returned it to its former glory. The furnishings are sumptuous, the shared bathroom modern and functional and close to our room, and the art and detail made us feel like royalty. The balcony overlooks nicely kept gardens and trees - and its all a short stroll from Grenfell's main street. A wonderful stop thats well worth a small premium.

Its probably unavoidable given the age of the place, but there was a bit of a musty or dusty feel to our room - sorted out by opening a few windows.

I loved Grenfell Hall - a beautiful old building with bedrooms opening onto the balcony and full of character. Every room is a gallery with works collected by the host Warwick, which is fascinating in itself. But I just loved the atmosphere of the place, with its formal dining room where we had breakfast, creaky floorboards, and cosy sitting room. We enjoyed relaxing on the balcony with a wine in the setting sun, looking out over this peaceful town. Warwick is a great host who bakes a mean cookie. Showers are hot and strong, towels are thick, rooms are big and comfy and we had everything we needed. Thanks Warwick for sharing your unique property.

Everything was perfect.

Good breakfast, choice of cereals or muesli varieties, fresh fruit, yogurt, 3 different breads, jams or Vegemite and off course coffee or tea. Warwick is an excellent host, on site and available if needed. Happy to answer questions and chat about the house and township. Helpful with driving routes too.

No real issues with Grenfell Hall. Grenfell is a small town so be prepared for small town eating choices. Local supermarket is good.

What a beautiful place to stay. Warwick was so accommodating, and the house, decor and room was amazing. I would highly recommend if you love a vintage / antique vibe, I will definitely recommend this to others and will be going back for sure. Breakfast was so lovely and charming, it made us very happy :)

What a great find Grenfell Hall is! Warwick is a welcoming and interesting host. We could have talked for hours. Grenfell Hall is an eclectic space full of wonderful treasures gathered over a lifetime. The breakfast was lovely. I highly recommend this beautiful home for your stay over, you will not be disappointed.

There is nothing I think Warwick could have improved on.

Warrick was an exceptional host. He made sure we had everything we needed, was happy to engage in conversation with us and had great knowledge of the history of this magnificent property. It was a very hot day when we arrived, and we were grateful for the airconditioned comfort. The breakfast was delicious.

An exceptional place to stay. Warrick is a warm and welcoming host and we felt like friends and not just guests in his home. The venue is well located and a gentle walk to the town centre but we would have been happy to never leave there was so much to see and enjoy in the venue itself. If you like art and the country this is highly recommended. Plus the breakfast is exceptional.

Lovely old house full of interesting objects to browse and admire. A lovely host who clearly enjoys pleasing visitors and sharing his very special house. Grenfell is an interesting town, with a history to match. More visitors will help keep this small town going - perhaps even help it to grow. Dinner at the Criterion Hotel (only place on a Monday night) was traditional pub food, more than adequate and served with a friendly smile.

Owner / Manager is very friendly, room was large and comfortable with heating etc. lots of amazing period features in the house and breakfast was fantastic. Accomodation is EV friendly, offered to run a lead to charge my car, although I didn’t need to charge it this time.

Nothing, met all expectations.

What a surprise, don't normally stay in B&B, but this place has been beautifully restored. For art lovers, every room as some interesting art and antiquities. It was clean and with modern conveniences, spacious bathroom with everything you find in a 5 star hotel. The location is off the main road and a 7 min walk to the shops. Warwick was an excellent host. Nice touch with the cookie, tea and coffee in the sitting room.
