Although this is an older building, the room has been updated to align with current La Quinta aesthetic. The bed was very comfortable, but the pillows were not. We stayed at a different La Quinta the following night which had both super comfortable bed and pillows. Breakfast was well above what we expected.

Beneath the bed had not been vacuumed recently, and our cat came out covered in dust after exploring. We prefer beds which are on a platform, especially if there is no space for our cat to hide in between the bed and the wall.

The staff were really nice. They didn't have any issues letting me add a day to my reservation every morning for a while lol they were really helpful with getting my bags and kids in the Uber. I was a little late checking out and they weren't rude at all. The front desk, house keeping, they were everything! It's quiet. If anything i thought my kids would've made us the loud room lol you don't hear none but foot steps at night. And no sketchy activity so I really appreciate the time spent there. Especially with me going through a extremely hard time in life. If I wasn't broke they would have all gotten a tip

Uh the lady over the breakfast bar is a little Snippy lol and I wish their covers were a little thicker but honestly it wasn't much I didn't like.

It was convenient location and near restaurants and family. They offered breakfast and laundry on site.

Cleaning options weren’t told upfront and they allowed us to use the broom and exchange the bedding when necessary, but no one cleaned our room the whole stay from Thursday to Tuesday. The staff seemed limited not many people employed

The breakfast was nice, however the woman over the breakfast stood by me & told me not to get to much gravy, cause she only had a little more left..I paid for a room at the LaQuinta hotel & breakfast was included..I don't feel she should be monitoring food & saying she only has a little left..not my problem, as long as I don't waste the food I take..

The lighting in the rooms..the rooms need brighter lights or a dimmer to adjust to your liking.

Amazing staff, modern and clean rooms, really comfortable stay. Thank you to the hotel and the people running it. And for the reasonable prices given all of the features, but really, the staff is what makes it great. I am here for work and have stayed at a couple hotels in St. Louis and had to leave each time due to cleanliness or lack of amenities or location and some really strange hotel issues, but this place is perfect and pretty central as well. Great front desk. I hope the staff here knows what a great job they do and feels appreciated. Not every hotel is maintained or operated this way. At all. Anyway, 5 stars for service, honestly.

The lady that made breakfast did an excellent, wonderful, loving caring and clean job!!! She made sure things stayed clean fresh and in order!!! I loved her compassion for guests and the passion she had for her work/ service!!! Didn’t get her name but I was told she’d been there for over 30 years. If I recall that right.

Bigger bathrooms

The room was super clean with modern decor. Efficient check-in with pleasant, friendly staff. Comfy med-firm bed with cotton sheets. Room had small sitting area with armchair, table, and hassock. Breakfast had eggs, sausage, waffles, yogurt, toast, apples, 2 juices, 2 coffees.

The lighting was too dim in the room, and lacked ceiling lights or lamp near the chair. The TV with streaming channels had some issues with frame freezing. The hall carpets were in serious need of shampooing. The fitness room was full of storage boxes.

The staff was super friendly excellent customer service and made sure our stay was perfect and I we was comfortable and the breakfast was on point. Rooms where very clean bathroom was sparkling and bed was very comfortable.

The only thing I didn't like was that the toilet water was running all night. I just clost the bathroom door.other than that my stay was nice

Everything was good. Breakfast staff were very sweet. Front desk morning staff also very helpful and evening desk help as well. Lots of pot holes aren’t d the area so be careful.
