We stayed here for 3 nights whilst visiting Bratislava, which is very easy to find with good public transport links from the airport . Check-in was quick and pleasant. Our room was on the first floor with a river view. The room was a good size with a large comfortable bed (the bed was very firm but that suits us). The bathroom was very small but had everything you needed and the shower was very good. The room was basic but comfortable. The room was clean but could do with a deep clean, especially the windows and a lick of paint. The river is very fast flowing with lots of boats passing. Breakfast was included. Good selection of cold buffet, but the hot food wasn't to my taste at all. We had a really quiet stay here. Yes, it's basic but, for the price and location, no complaints from us.

Location very central and good. I arrived from Vienna by boat which docked just next to Botel. Easy walking distance to downtown. Good views from breakfast restaurant to the river. Exceptionally friendly and helpful night portier, young man in his early twenties.

Age shows everywhere. I suppose the place can not be cleaned to shine anymore. Everyday front line personnel nice. Management lady was quite opposite from the night portier and other personnel - a bit blunt when asked questions and discussed with.

Staying here was such a lovely experience! (Besides below) The staff was really friendly and helpful. I loved the location, just off Tram #1 which brought me the whole way from the train station to the river, just a few minutes' walk from the Botel. Walking along the area was beautiful, and at night there were many local clubs and concerts within walking distance. The center also was an easy walk from the Botel. The room was more spacious and comfortable than I had expected for a Botel. Beds were really comfy, and whole room was extremely clean, mold-free, and smelled normal. (Botel stays can be challenging). Bathroom small, but as expected, and working and very clean. Breakfast was amazing, they had anything you could want and lots of it, and a large and spacious area in which to eat, both inside and outside. Best of all, was the view from the room! I went for it and rented the room with a balcony and river view, and it was spectacular. I spent at least an hour just listening to music and checking out that amazing view. Can't wait to stay here again, (if it's still possible...)

Check-in had several potentially serious hiccups: 1. Checking in required the RESERVATION NUMBER from Booking.com, NOT simply my name and ID. 2. Also required was my PASSPORT - my European Union Permanent Residence card was not enough! I have never had these issues previously, anywhere inside the EU or USA, besides Hungary and now also Slovakia, apparently. Normally I do not travel with either my home phone (I travel with my work phone, which does not have my Booking account) or my passport when traveling inside the EU, which is the whole point of Schengen. It was a fluke that I did so on this weekend, otherwise I would have had no way to check-in.

The pictures on the website don't do the rooms justice, they're a lot bigger than they seem. I was very pleasantly surprised by how comfortable the rooms were and how comfortable the bed was. There are windows all across the side so I had a beautiful view of the Danube and lots of natural light in the room. The breakfast was also really really good with a very nice view as well of the UFO Tower.

The toilet seat is positioned a bit strangely, and the room could do with a little bit more cleaning particularly in the bathroom area. But for the most part it was a great room.

Staying on a 'botel' on the Danube was a wonderful, novel experience. It was located a short stroll from the centre of old town, so a very convenient location, and quiet. The top level restaurant/bar/breakfast room was fantastic - great views across the river and some of the town. The breakfast was good too, though like most hotels in Czechia and Slovakia, the 'hot' breakfast meals are cold, and the orange juice is watered down! A great variety though.

The 'balconies' are a little tired and in need of renovation.

I was surprised when I arrived at the place that actually it was an old ex-boat probably used for river cruises. It’s located at the shore of Danube just a few steps from the fortress of Bratislava and its old town. The hotel is plane but very budget and comfortable. Our room was equipped with own bathroom. We had three comfy beds. In the morning we had our breakfast in the restaurant at the high level of the boat . It was a sunny and warm restaurant with exceptional medley and tasty breakfast . Definitely recommend this place for budget travelers. Good value for money.

The hotel/ship is right next to the Twin City Liner dock and in easy walking distance of the city center and castle. It was fun staying on an actual boat and watching the ships go by at night. The bar on the upper deck has a nice view, the staff was friendly and breakfast was much better than expected. All in all good value for money and a nice new experience for us.

The rooms are actually cabins (which is to be expected on a boat), therefore limited space. In the afternoon it got quite hot in the rooms as a very warm pipe ran through it and we had to keep a window open even at night (late October). The windows were hard to open and to close and the whole room could use a little updating.

Perfect location. Gorgeous views of the river at breakfast. Breakfast was amazing. The beds were so comfortable and the room itself was bigger than expected.

I know the view from the boat overlooking the city can't be helped, but the boat wasn't busy so having a room with the rather bright lights of the Park inn shining upon us was not enjoyable! (Couldn't see it once the curtains were shut though!) The drainage of the shower was not very good and the bathroom could have been cleaner.. a few hairs here and there.

Interesting and different experience. Perfect location, close to the city center, nice views over the Danube. Good breakfast with river-view. If going to Vienna by boat, the Twin City Liner is departing just next door, very convenient.

Very smelly room, bad drainage from the bathroom. The room could be somehow renewed. Staff with strange views on linguistics, could rather work on being more openminded and friendlier to their guests.

So easy to get to the hotel from station. Great location for seeing all the city's sights. Kids too enjoyed the novelty of staying on board a river-cruiser- we won't forget the experience! Comfortable, reasonably quiet, good breakfast.

It was all good. The 2nd bedroom is snug, but plenty of room in the main cabin made up for it. We thought only having one bathroom between us might be tricky but it was fine, and we could have used the main hotel toilets if we'd needed. One receptionist wasn't sure about printing out an email, but another was super-helpful and sorted it for us.
