Our family of four had a very nice stay during our trip to Nazaré. Fika Guest House is on a quiet residential street with almost no traffic. There was ample free parking less than a one-minute walk from the property. The bed was comfortable with extra bedding and pillows. The spotless kitchen is shared with other guests, but there are two refrigerators; ample dining tables; plenty of dishes, glasses, silverware, pots, pans, utensils; and other useful items, such as a washing machine, for a comfortable stay of any length. The rooms' bathroom/shower were very stylish and contemporary with decent towels and a strong hair dryer. Very impressive for a rental. Our A/C unit wouldn't stay on when we tried to use it. When we contacted the property caretaker, they were very proactive and apologetic so I believe it was not a previously occurring problem. Stuff happens. (Even though it had been a warm day, opening the window made it comfortable for sleeping, So no worries.) Our son in another double room became ill during our stay (food poisoning from an out-of-town restaurant). The property managers offered a third room at a discounted rate to help out. The concern and efforts of the management to correct the A/C problem and help us out impressed me.

Small thing: There is no clothes dryer, so plan to hang things up on the rear terrace with provided clothespins. Not a problem if you have time for air drying.

The Fika Guest House is very well located by car. It is big house of ground floor and first floor. our room was on the firsth floor, good enough for two people and spacious. Kitchen located on the ground floor is very big and equipped with all the necessary kitchen items and appliances. We appreciate a lot that host has provided drinking water cans over there. A very big lounge or sitting area is well furnished with tables, chairs, sofa and TV etc. There are stairs to go upstairs, not suitable for anyone with physical difficulty. The host offered us self check in, so, we personally could not meet the host, but they are quite helpful on the phone and whatsapp.

We booked the room with bathroom, as it mentioned on theBooking . Com websithe that the room has got a private bathroom, but when we reached at the property, we came to know that the bathroom is not inside the room itself but it is outside at the end of the passage, that was quite inconvenient. We would appreciate if hosts could clearly mention the real charactiristics of their properties, so that we can choose the accomodation accordingly. secondly, you can hear every sound happening in the house, inside the room, one can say it a lack of soundproofing.

Clean, comfortable and full accessoried. We were travelling by bike and the host accomodate us by using the internal garden. Clear instructions for the check in. Fully satisfied!

It waa clean, the room smelt nice. Bed and pillows were suuuper comfy. Soft towels. Couldn't have asked for more. Wished we could've stayed longer!

The rooms were very clean and bright. It was also really nice to have a washer during our stay.

The kitchen had alot of cooking equitment and the guesthouse itself was clean, spacious and of a good standard. The room was ok size with good beds, good air conditioning and a modern bathroom. Perfect for couples or groups, All in all a good standard

As a female solo traveler I was very disappointed about the bathroom solution for my room (single beds). I was promised a private bathroom, but no notice was given that this bathroom was on the other side of the hallway and that you had to walk past all the other rooms. I felt a bit uncomfortable and unsafe with this solution. Especially because you don't get information on which room were in use, thus not knowing how many lived there during the stay. Also, in case of a fire, you would not be able to notify the other residents - this is alarming. Had I known about the bathroom solution I would have chosen another room, the guesthouse itself is quite good

Booked a twin room with private bathroom. It was quite clear from notices in the bathroom that it was used by 2 other rooms so not private. Spoke to agents going to rectify description.

Kitchen was nice, shower also good! Nice decorations in the room.
