Location is a little out of town, one of the reasons we chose to book here. The room it’s was large, clean and well appointed. The bed and pillows were lovely and comfortable. Plenty of parking available. There is a gym, pool and spa on-site but we didn’t use.

Dinner in the Brasserie - we waited quite a while to be shown to a table upon arrival. We didn’t have a booking but there were plenty of empty tables. We felt as though we were a bit of an inconvenience to the young lady seating us to be honest. There were long delays for drinks, in fact we had to chase up our drinks order twice before it was delivered to our table. The same for table water. We only just received our first drinks moments before the meal arrived. That said, both of our meals were absolutely delicious and served within a reasonable time. It’s a shame the bar service was not up to par on this occasion.

Staff were polite and helpful (if they carried out the task they said they would - see below.) Great value for such a luxury hotel. Despite the below, would book again.

As this was a business stay, invoices were required for each booking. It was beyond tedious to obtain this after the person had checked out. This should not be an issue. Spoke to many staff who were going to resolve this and another issue with booking on the website - was not sorted until after many conversations were had and emails were exchanged and then we no longer needed to stay in Cork.

Honestly where do I start, this was an incredible experience, but really all down to 1 guy, your night porter who greeted us when we checked in after 9pm on Saturday night. He greeted me by name and was so lovely. Unfortunately we were in the area for work so our stay was more for convenience than for R&R, so we were on an early exit the next morning. But this is where it became more amazing. Your breakfast started the next morning at 7 which is no problem, we needed to leave by around 6.30, so he took it upon himself to assure us he would have something for us to take away. Well, were we blown away by what we received! A full irish, tea/coffee, orange juice, the works. Michael D Higgins wouldn't get service like it! We were truly set for what was a busy day for us at the local karting track. Let me make it clear, what ever you pay this guy, it's not enough. He's amazing, I actually don't know what else I can say tbh, I'm just blown away by the service. I will 150% be staying here again when I'm in the area and I'll be telling everyone about it. If you have an employee of the week/month/year, please make sure he gets it. The room, place etc was all top notch too which is great, but he was the shining light above all else.

Large rooms and delicious food greeted us at this property. We had visited Blarney Castle earlier in the day, and wanted to stay nearby and so this property suited that desire being only 15-20 minutes away.

While secluded and secure in location, it is on a bit of an island to itself, which is reason alone to commend it, nevertheless I mistakenly thought it was located in or near the center of town, and it was not, insofar as one hoping to walk around is concerned. This didn't effect our stay at the property itself, which is as fine as you get at any Radisson you might stay at anywhere in the world, but prevented us from popping out to walk and explore in the actual downtown area, so we'll have to catch that next time.

Lovely friendly staff at reception and in the bar and restaurant. Great parking. Lift to our room on the second floor. Room was beautiful very modern and clean. My daughter was given a bag with some snacks on arrival which was a nice touch. Breakfast was superb. The selection and freshness of the produce was excellent . The swimming pool was also great. It was my daughters birthday and they did a little dessert plate for her. Across from the hotel there are shops kfc, subway, spar.

Very disappointed that I couldn't get a 00 Guinness. 00 Heinken was available but I would of preferred 00Guinness. The portions in the restaurant are very small and by no means cheap

We had a lovely stay at this hotel, staying in the Barrymore Suite, which was absolutely HUGE! The king-sized bed was really cosy, and the blackout curtains made for a great night's sleep. The separate sitting room area was a fantastic bonus, especially with a toddler, giving us extra space to relax. The hotel itself was lovely, and the reception staff were incredibly friendly and helpful—going out of their way to assist us. The swimming pool was also a highlight, perfectly warm and very enjoyable. There was also an excellent kids' menu with lots of options. A beautiful hotel.

There were a few aspects that I personally didn’t love. The extra lock on our door was broken, with some visible damage, making it look like it had been forced open at some point, which was a little unsettling. Secondly, while the dinner was beautifully presented, I didn’t find it particularly tasty- but I may of just been what I chose.

Great staff! Everyone was friendly, professional, and attentive. Dinner was great! It was impressive that the hotel has addressed environmental concerns and even offered a nice bonus program. There were two types of pillows available, making it easy to find a cozy one and enjoy a good night's sleep.

There were minor issues with key cards, but it was nothing that the great staff couldn't resolve! Also, it should be possible to close the hotel room doors without slamming them shut. However, this issue is probably common in most hotels, so it's not specific to Radisson BLU. Additionally, it was possible to close the doors silently from the inside.

We enjoyed our stay very much. Staff very friendly & helpful. Breakfast was lovely and had plenty of options. Very comfortable rooms.

We used the pool area twice and, I would say its not suitable for children as set up as a spa experience. the water is deep around 4.5 feet. There is a strong under current in pool caused by the 3 hydro massage jets and the in pool jazcussi. area which are extremly strong. They could do with turning the pressure down in the hydro area. Other than that It is a lovely facility. I Would prefer a walk in shower as apposed to a shower in a bath as I found it difficuly getting in and out of shower as bath was high and had. an extra ledge to climg over

Great location. Plenty of parking. Excellent breakfast options they have a kids section with a pancake machine was fun watching to kids being so excited making their pancakes. Not sure the reception staff were as friendly as they could be some look very unapproachable. Loved the complementary sweets available. Well appointed room didn’t feel cramped, had a shower over the bath which was unexpected great having a clothes line in there. We would definitely stay again.

That they messed my sister and family around with their check in they were unable to check in until just before 5. They sent them to the wrong room given key cars that didn’t work. Wished they hadn’t mixed the tomatoes with the mushrooms for breakfast. Not everyone likes mushrooms.

My favourite thing about this hotel was the staff who were warm and extremely helpful. Otherwise it was as you expect, a fancy, anonymous hotel with loads of easy parking, easy to get to from the main roads but not great for getting in and out of the city. It does have public transport sort of nearby so it is possible to stay here and enjoy Cork city, even if the walk from the hotel round the main road is not so great. We thought the food was excellent and generally had a lovely time here.

Piped perfume in the lobby, somewhat sickening if you're hungover or sensitive to smells. The water in the pool and spa was cold when we were there, a disappointment given that was the primary reason for booking this hotel. It was a technical fault and the hotel could not fix it immediately as it was Sunday. However when I complained the relevant manager offered my friend and I complimentary lunch from the cafe which definitely made us feel better! It's a bit of a walk to the train station to get into the city but you know that when you're booking.
