Inviting ,clean , excellent spacious rooms comfortable . Great facilities and very friendly staff . Great selection of food.

The problem with this hotel is the car parking. I had to pay an additional £50 on top of my room rate which made this stay very expensive. £245 for two nights plus £28 for breakfast for two days and then £50 for car parking Made my trip Very expensive. I understand the hotel has a car park which is free but it’s a good fifteen to twenty minute walk to it. Not ideal if it’s raining and you have luggage to carry. Perhaps working with the NCP car park and incorporating the price with the hotel would be ideal instead of having to pay for the hotel and then parking. The NCP car park is bang opposite the hotel so it would make sense.

Location is ideal for Leicester city centre in foot. A deal with Highcross shopping centre allows secure parking within easy walking distance. Excellent breakfast and good meal available in the evening in the bar.

Since my stay last year the provision off a few short term parking space has made it easier to unload/load when arriving/departing, however, there is no signage stating for short term use only and are mainly occupied by selfish guests for overnight parking (British Gas vans being the worst). Signs are required giving time limits and the parking needs to be managed. When I needed to drop some heavy shopping in my room I had to use adjacent expensive NCP parking for the 15 minutes needed to take it to my room.

Perfectly located. Very close to shops, shopping centre, food places and bars. The view from the room was absolutely stunning. Parking can be difficult but it’s not a massive deal. Would not recommend parking in the NCP multi storey car park right next door though. The bar in the hotel is expensive, but there is a Witherspoon within 3-5 minute walk away and other bars close too. The food was tasty and decently priced for most things. The breakfast which we got included was nice and the morning staff were very helpful and friendly. The rooms were cleaned inbetween the days we stayed. So we had fresh towels each day which was lovely. It is exactly as described and having a bad experience last weekend this was the most Perfect hotel. Would highly recommend and would be more than happy to stay here again. Have 0 complaints.

Stayed for my Sons birthday and an award ceremony at his university. Great location, and although the immediate NCP car park is expensive, it is very convenient. I was able to leave luggage prior to check-in, but I feel confident it would have been safe enough left in the car if needed. Staff gave us two complementary drinks vouchers due to my Sons birthday, which was a lovely touch. Bedrooms are lovely and very clean / nicely presented. The breakfast area is a good size, and the chap in charge was friendly and helpful. Good selection of food available.

The price of the NCP car park is expensive but the staff do recommend one that is a little further away and cheaper, so it's cost over convenience. It's a shame there's no deals with NCP to subsidise the cost when staying at the hotel, though.

The Receptionist was excellent when we arrived later than expected [9 pm] she was very attentive and engaging, the instructions were clear, and the guidance on parking was very good. She came to check we were happy with our room. The hotel facilities are very good and exceptionally clean. The breakfast waiters were great and helpful, nothing was too much trouble for them. We have stayed here before and would definitely stay again.

Although the furniture was beautiful and clean - I would love for hotels to return to those deep substantive armchairs. The modern look is great, but not that comfortable, especially if you want us to stay in the bar for any length of time. The computer in the business centre area was not working and the daytime staff didn't know when it would be repaired.

The staff are always helpful, breakfast was good and worth the money. Location is a bit tricky being right on St Nicholas Circle but once navigated it's not a problem. Biscuits and hot chocolate would be a nice addition to the room drinks tray.

A service charge being automatically charged to our restaurant bill. It was removed once I questioned it. I have no problem leaving a tip but would like to be asked first. The pillows were hard, unfortunately I didn't see the card advising that softer pillows were available by contacting reception. I know now for our next stay.

Polite welcoming personnel. No surprises in charges. Acceptable room. Quiet and relaxing stay. Good breakfast. Flat screen tv. Iron, hair blower. Kettle. Coffee, tea in room. Mini bar, compl. water bottles. Free kitkat chocolates. Usb chargers. Extra mirror in bathroom. Safe in room. Free wifi..Good speed.

Slight smell in corridor initially. Rather small bedside furniture. Small room window. No water glasses in room . Only mugs. Lighting rather weak in room but sufficient. Sluggish TV.. & No satellite channels (cnn, bbc world, Bloomberg). No hotel slippers. (or robe) Basic, british breakfast. Not a great variety otherwise. Furniture basic. (No upmarket materials or design)

Staff were all very nice and seemed to enjoy their work. They all had a smile on their face, which shows a good working culture as well. We had a very short stay as arrived at 1am and left in the morning at 11am, due to commitments but enjoyed the few hours we spent at the hotel. Room and hotel itself were very clean, breakfast was nice. Facilities in room were good, bottled water provided, tea and coffee making facilities included despite some reviews saying its not provided. We were pleasantly surprised during our stay here. We will definitely come back for another longer stay when visiting Leicester in the future.

Parking was on site with the NCP, but quite steep if you are staying long. A compromise between the car park and the hotel will make things even better.

The room was spacious and comfortable and the atmosphere of the hotel very relaxed and welcoming. The breakfast was fabulous - as a vegetarian I particularly appreciated the added veg / chickpeas with the cooked breakfast. Most importantly though, the service, from all the staff we came into contact with, was exceptional. We felt very well looked after, and I'd like to give a special shout out for Francisco in the restaurant. Thank you all very much.

The parking arrangements were a small annoyance, as we had lots of luggage for a wedding. I don't know if the plan is to have parking available in the car park next to the hotel, but that would be appreciated.

Got to the property and parking is available in a few locations which I had not read up on. After explaining that I had my van and tools and didn't quite like the idea of parking in Random garages over night they said it wasn't a problem and o could park in the drop off area. Room was clean and tidy. Had a bath and shower and was really comfy bed. I would say they have renovated possibly as the place looked relatively newly decorated. Food was great to be honest. No complaints here would definitely stay again.
