Our group was 2 adults, an 8 yr old and an 11 yr old, breaking our journey on our way to Center Parcs for the week. We stayed in the "Double Room" which is above the archway visible in the photos. A very quiet area, perfect for unwinding. The resident cat was tolerant and approachable and the dogs (only present with the host) energetic but safe. The accommodation was clean, comfortable and we had a hugely relaxing night's sleep. The blackout blind works a treat. The shower was powerful and refreshing. We would say this is an ideal place for a stop over for one or two nights. We'd definitely stay here again without hesitation

A (very slight, and out of the host's control) downside was having to park about 50 metres from the main entrance. Fortunately, we'd packed a single overnight bag, so this wasn't a concern, but might be if you need to unload the whole car for some reason. There is a designated space by the entrance, so if you need it, it may be worth messaging David and Cécile beforehand. An improvement would be to have some hand soap in the shower room. Sachets of shower gel are provided. Oh, perhaps, also there should be some fruit available with breakfast. Though to be fair, we didn't ask.

Cosy, friendly place. Perfect set up for families with kids in ‘dorm’ room upstairs from parents. Lovely breakfast. Exceptional host, who waited up to welcome us and show us around despite a very late arrival - we couldn’t have asked for more. Thank you David and Cécile.

We chose to stay at Les Chambres du Relais as a stop-off while travelling back from Disneyland Paris. We enjoyed our stay – check-in was easy and the room had everything we needed for the night. Breakfast was good too! The area was also v picturesque and quiet, which we appreciated as we wanted a good night's sleep.

Very quick responses from David, very helpful suggestions for food and other local attractions. David went above and beyond helpful to accommodate us being later than anticipated and the eating dinner at the property as well as an early breakfast. Rooms were comfortable, cool and dark.

Very quiet location and helpful host. We stayed there for one night, as a family of 4, and everybody had a positive experience and night sleep. Good breakfast. Quaint room, not for people looking for modern hotel chain's look but great value for money.

We as a family with three young adult children were on the way back coming from UK (Euortunnel) to the south of Germany taking one night sleep over at that very interesting, comfortable, very, very quiet accommodation. We had loads of space, the beds were very comfortable, the rooms were just cute and with love furnitured. The breakfast next day was very nice familiar, we didn’t miss anything. The owner was very, very nice and caring. For us it was a really relaxing break!!

The owner was very friendly and knowledgeable, and told us all about his local area. The accommodation was just what you need, comfortable and clean. The breakfast was lovely and typically french which is all part of the reason you go. It was secured with a coded lock front entrance but also in a nice quiet area so we felt very safe. He was also convinced that the French created cricket. All in all a lovely place to stay and would definitely go back

Beautiful building in a quiet, lovely setting. Our host was very knowledgeable about the local history and keen to share. It was a lovely start to a long journey.
