Breakfast is lovely and the outlook into the garden is vey nice. The fireplaces are great for soaking up the warmth with a glass of red wine or hot chocolate. Staff were accommodating and friendly. Room was clean and comfortable. I'd like to come back in the spring because I can imagine how beautiful the grounds will be in flower!

It would be easier to park in the car park if the spaces were marked out. Arriving at the hotel to check in was good for a parking space but coming back at night after going out for dinner, the spaces were filled - but some cars were taking up what could have been an extra car space.

My daughter and I had a great stay. Bed very comfy, water pressure awesome, staff friendly and helpful. A huge thank you to Zoe from the restaurant who was very helpful when my daughter was unwell. The meatballs are highly recommended and were made even more yummy eaten by the fire with a glass of local wine.Do make time to walk around the golf course and gardens.

There wasn't anything that stopped us from enjoying our stay but I did notice that the property needs a bit of maintenance here and there. I understand its an old building but do hope it gets the TLC it needs so it's there for all to enjoy for along time.

This hotel is just beautiful! Perfect for our one night get away. Felt so welcomed and relaxed, we traveled with our puppy and 3 year old and we all had a fantastic time exploring the hotel and taking the short drive for a walk in Bowral. We had dinner in Hickory’s restaurant on Saturday night and it was exceptional!! Staff could do enough for us (thank you Charlie and Summer) and both spent time making sure we had everything we needed and also encouraging my daughter to eat her kiddies meal. The food was out of this world.

I hate to have to write this but Sunday breakfast was very poor. We arrived around 9.30 to a busy restaurant with tables that needed clearing and setting. The staff did clear a table for us and we headed to the buffet to get our hot breakfast. About 8 people also around the area with unfortunately no hot food available. Everything had run out and even the fruit and pasty’s hadn’t been refilled. I did ask the young lad for some bacon and mushrooms and he went to order but it was such a slow service . Maybe some more staff on su day morning would help

Our room with a balcony, didn't have an exclusive area, in that the balcony is shared along a stretch of the building. Very tasteful, but at the same time, the available seating was positioned beneath the windows of the bathrooms belonging to the other units - so not so inviting and it also made it feel as if you were encroaching on fellow guests (would have been great, if our neighbours were friends rather than complete strangers) The bathroom was small and dated.

Was delicious- however I was surprised that it wasn’t included in the price that I paid.

Again I was surprised that the bedroom floor wasn’t carpeted- the floor boards were extremely worn and looked poor.

The surroundings were stunning. It’s in a beautiful location and the room had French doors that opened onto the veranda so you could really enjoy the nature. The staff were very accommodating when I requested to change to a smaller, cheaper room as my circumstances altered last minute. It’s was spotlessly clean, the shower was powerful and the bed was very comfortable.

It’s an older property, so the sound proofing of the rooms is not great, but this is to be expected.

Our receptionist was lovely, our room was in a fantastic location and it was beautiful (we were in Room 1), however this was a bit noisy at 2am with people arriving from events - it was still a stunning location for a room. Breakfast was great, the restaurant was a little pricey for the quality of the food - although the sourdough was lovely. We played billiards which was in a nice room and the wine list was great,

Honestly everything was pretty great, other than the slight noise issue at 2am with people getting dropped off and our room being so central.

Love the cozy rooms with fire places to relax; bottles of hand cream in main areas; spa water station; view (obviously!); people were lovely- everyone, amazing customer service, special mention to a lovely housekeeping member of staff who stopped to speak with me on Saturday morning as I remarked on what a lovely stay we had; very relaxing feel to the venue; lovely room, good energy (I work in this area, psychic- space clearing, energy healing etc).

A few of the guests also staying in the hotel mentioned the same thing- many of the shampoo, conditioner, shower gel, hand cream bottles were empty.

Very welcoming and warm comfortable sitting areas which were lovely to relax in after a day out. The Restaurant had a good menu and was reasonably priced.

Our ‘Elm Room with Balcony’ was very disappointing. We have stayed here on numerous occasions over the years and it was nice to see the lounge areas have been updated. However our room left a little to be desired. The bathroom and carpet are in need of updating. The entrance to the bathroom was actually dangerous as there was a rising slope and a 2 centimetre lip where it met the tiles!!! Lighting in room not adequate.

The Ambience was beautiful. Peaceful.

The stairs. No lift. We stayed 2 nights and the second night we found that even though our room had been made up the mini bar and nibbles and fresh milk and coffee were not replaced. I went down all those stairs (im 60 not 30 years old) to be told they dont restock we have to select chocolate and chips water from the office. Hmmmm no up selling there.
