The accommodation was set at the back of the pub with patio doors, this was ideal for letting our dog out. There was even fresh milk in a small fridge in the corridor so we were able to store the dog food aswell. The staff made our stay very relaxing, Tina who served Breakfast was extremely helpful and kind as was the bar staff. Food at the pub was outstanding.

The only criticism was the bright green fire exit sign above the patio doors it kept me awake, I know it was there for safety reasons so I brought an eye mask to stop the glare.

This was an excellent choice for us with easy access to the Camel Trail. Staff were very friendly and informative and great fun. The two evening meals we had there were excellent, meats cooked to perfection, well presented and on very hot plates. Henk was a great host and advised on how we could make best use of future stays and cycle routes.

It would have been nice if the restaurant had been open on the Monday evening and perhaps this could be added to the listing. We had to travel to another pub for our evening meal, an expensive taxi ride. The only negative food wise were the breakfast, the cooked options were very good and varied but it would have been nice to have had cereal and fruit options.

If you're looking for a B&B in a great location (between Padstow & Newquay) which does a great breakfast and the option of a fantastic evening meal with a good choice of drinks ... then look no further. We stayed between Christmas and New Year and had a great time. Rooms are comfortable and all you need from a B&B. Staff are very friendly too, and it's also dog friendly.

The food was excellent, especially in the restaurant at dinner, including high quality vegetarian options. Room was comfortable facing away from the highway, cutting noise to nearly nothing. We loved walking down the road behind the property in the evening to watch the sunset. The EVSE gave us a good charge for our EV overnight.

The service was excellent and the staff could not so enough for you. There was some great touches like a bar of local chocolate in the room and good tea and coffee making faculties. Parking was good which is not always the case in Cornwall. The food in the pub was great and very good value we eat there for the 2 nights we stayed and was very pleased with the meals. The bar had a good range of beers ciders and larger.

When we booked we didn't realize the restaurant was closed on a Monday, we had traveled along way and were looking forward to eating at the hotel. The place they recommended nearby was fully booked. The bar closed early even though it states it is open til 11. Appreciate it was quiet but we were ushered out at 9:45.

Great location for local resorts and places of interest. The room was large, clean and comfortable, the staff cheerful and helpful and breakfast had a decent selection and was very substantial. Overall we really enjoyed our four nights there and will definitely return in the future.

Rooms are spacious with great views over the Cornish countryside The breakfast offered was a full english with choices, a great fruity granola and swiftly served. The evening menu has chefs specials offered in addition to the main menu, the dishes are fabulously tasty we loved eating here.

My only complaint is with booking.com — the booking.com internet site states that the Inn is 3.1 miles from the nearest town — simply NOT true. I need to believe the booking.com info, And this was so inaccurate. Any money we saved with the discounted room price was LOST in the number of taxi fares we paid to simply get anywhere! The hotel staff were so wonderful, THEY drove us to a couple of places, but this was not their job. This hotel is not suitable for anyone without a car. There isn’t even a bus stop nearby, And taxis were reluctant to drive too far out of the nearest town. I am VERY happy with the hotel, NOT so very happy with booking.com
