The location is great. Just outside of the centre so walking distance to everything. The staff of the front desk were really friendly and remembered our names going in and out of the hotel. I booked parking in advance at a reduced rate in the hotel's car park which was really convenient too. The room was clean, if not a little dated, but we didn't spend much time in it so it wasn't a problem for us. We asked for rooms next door to each other and we got that which was a huge relief, when you have your kids with you.

There is no air conditioning and we stayed in July so the room was very hot. The staff supplied us with a fan. There is lots of building work going on during the day around the hotel, which, when we opened the window for fresh air was quite noisy. Again, we didn't spend too much time in the room so not a huge problem.

Great location and easy to navigate the city from there. Great staff and clean facilities.

Unfortunately the thermostat was broken in our room and that meant it was extremely warm. This made sleeping difficult. We slept with the window open but wasn’t much help. I believe they’re in the process of fixing it though :)

Hôtel Central right in the old town center and a few blocks from the train/bus stations, staff are well trained and ready to help, our room #101 is a nice modern room, easy to move around with good closet space, has a moveable fan for comfort. We stayed four nights and received a Innsbruck card for free city bus rides, we used it for 501 line and 504 line buses as a day trip to Hall and back; we also enjoyed the breakfast in the hotel’s Cafe Central, which has plenty of choices on the menu and good service. Innsbruck and surrounding areas are so beautiful, I am recommending stay in Hotel Central for a relaxing vacation and enjoying the culture and outdoor activities.

Excellent location, just 5 minutes to centre of town and 7 minutes from train station. Room was clean, requested room with bath and was extremely happy to find this was the case when we arrived. Breakfast was excellent, a good selection of hot and cold choices and plenty of room in the seating area.

I wasn’t aware it was a dog friendly hotel. I am a huge dog lover, having 7 dogs myself, but unfortunately there was a dog left in the room next to ours for most of the day and evening and we endured about 6 hours of intermittent barking and howling. I was more upset that the dog was distressed at being left alone in a strange place than the noise it was making,

The hotel was a short walk from the train station which was the reason we picked it for our short stay of one night. On arrival we were told we had been upgraded to a superior room which was very spacious and comfortable. It was very close to the main hub of the city with beautiful views of the mountains surrounding Innsbruck.

Air conditioning was a plug in machine which wasn’t hugely cooling. Breakfast was ok, but expected better for a 4 star hotel and it’s a pity there isn’t a jacuzzi in the spa area…there is only a sauna and steam room which I’d imagine are fabulous in winter but with the heat yesterday there was no way we were availing of them.

Hotel is in the middle of the city. 2 mins walk to the center, max. 10 mins walk to Hauptbahnhof. From the first minute you approach the reception, kind and cheerful people greet you. They had a small talk with us, explained hotel amenities. Check-out also was the best and easy. We used luggage storage service for free. The room had coffee station, nice view, comfortable and spacious bathroom, very comfortable bed and 2 types of pillows. It was clean and tidy. You can ask for hygenic products etc. from reception and they have a whole manual explaining it all (perfect for people with ADHD!) The hotel had Spa and fitness too but we didn't use these services during our stay.

Everything was perfect, just the keys to the room are a bit heavy to carry around all day :D

This is an amazing hotel that I highly recommend. It is comfy, clean with good sized rooms. We loved the sauna and little balcony looking at the mountain and the free ebikes that you can take it around the very cycle friendly city. The staff are terrific and breakfast is nice, set up in the famous cafe central. Great location, easy to walk to the train station and into centre.

The breakfast was perhaps a bit basic, it definitely had everything we would need but if you stay multiple days it will get repetitive very quickly.

The staff from reception were friendly and always happy to help with a smiley faces. Location is central. We didn’t have the chance to use the facilities but it could have been lovely.

The staff from the restaurant during breakfast was intimidating and rude especially the Asian woman kept staring on us. I felt isolated & discriminated I was told off loudly when in fact everyone was doing taking a bit of their food leftover. We stayed for 3 nights and I felt so uncomfortable and uneasy going to the restaurant everytime. The juicer looked filthy and unhygienic. The signage from the room for cleaning wasn’t left outside because we wanted our room to be serviced surprisingly found it was outside so our room was left not cleaned.

Location of the hotel was very good , within the minutes you can be in the center of the all shops and restaurants, walking distance to the supermarkets and all the main attractions. Also hotel has provided us with a special card to free public transport which helped us a lot to go around. A specially receptionist Tameio was excellent, given us a lot information about all the attractions and was very helpful.

Didn’t like the staff in the restaurant by the breakfast , felt very intimidated as they stood there almost starring directly at the table and watching what food you are taking. There was people who took the food from the hotel but when we made our sandwich, one of my colleague been told off by one of the staff member, the staff made comment in German which wasn’t very nice and totally unnecessary and very unprofessional. Only me from the group spoke and understood German , I don’t think they should make any comments out loud even when someone done something which they shouldn’t. Breakfast it self was good , usual continental breakfast.

The Reception staff was wonderful particularly "Matthias" was so helpful, polite, courteous and professional and patiently helped us to decide places to visit and any further requirements for the room such as kettle etc. Breakfast was pretty good and had both hot and cold options. The ambiance of the hotel was good and the location was great being at walking distance to to all central highlights. The hotel had the facilities of sauna and massage etc but we didn't have the time benefit from it.

Nothing in particular, but perhaps being a 4* with more facilities in the room such as iron, kettle, tea & coffee etc and a mini fridge & bar.
