Location good. We have been here many times. The room used to have nespresso machines but they were not in the room this time.
Since ownership change the front of office staff (two women) we encountered were very abrupt and not welcoming. Basically we were made to feel like we had done something wrong because we had booked through Booking.com. We have always had a late checkout but were told guests were arriving at 11:30 am so we could only be granted a 30 min extension. Seems very strange as book in time is not allowed befofe 2.00pm.The housemaids, on the other hand were all lovely.

I booked online and wasn't sure what to expect, and was really over joyed to find the Tiny home was neat, modern, very comfortable, clean and most importantly...cooled with a quiet air conditioner. This home also had a separate bathroom/toilet all to myself! For the price I got on booking.com it was brilliant value
It was so minor, but I was busting for the loo when i arruved and I didn't know where the bathroom was....but that may have been my issue with not reading information. Anyway, I found it after wandering the site, and did walk past the door that happened to have the same number as my tiny home lol

The well placed tourist park (three minute walk to services club, ten minutes walk (or less) to shops and wonderful Gundagai history plaques and statues) is a mix of motel units cabins and tiny homes. We had booked a tiny home because we had always wanted to try one, but were talked out of when we arrived by reception person who pointed out the toilets were outside in the tiny homes. She was right - it is literally a step outside the door to the bathroom but some may feel less relaxed about it in the wee small hours. The motel unit was much larger but also cost another 50% more than our tiny home booking on booking.com. so the visit was rather more expensive than we had planned. And our bedroom wall behind our heads abutted the next-door tiny home shower, whose inhabitant was up very early for a noisy shower - and the insulation was non-existent. Oh well we needed to get on the road anyway! We appreciated the little outside area where we could sit away form the car - a problem in many Australian motels and we found watching all the caravan folk in their amazing modern vans interesting! Overall, it was a good stay
Noise from next bathroom right beside bedhead. Staff somewhat terse.

The Tiny House we stayed was very cosy and had all the basic facilities we needed. The staff at reception was very helpful and pointed out places to eat and what was open the night we stayed. We will certainly consider staying here again should we need an overnight stop in Gundagai.
The Wifi signal was very weak, however we were informed by staff this would be the case as they we fully booked. There were lots of dust and some rubbish that was under the bed, the cleaners may have not clean certain parts of the Tiny house.

I thought I had booked the Tourist Suites as per picture. When I arrived I was told I had booked a TINY HOME, which was extremely tiny and one had to go outside to the bathroom. To stay in the Tourist Suites as per picture, I was asked to pay an additional $20 - which I did. I was fortunate that someone had just cancelled the Tourist Suite so there was a vacancy.
The confusion with TOURIST SUITES with TINY HOMES when booking.

The most powerful shower I have ever experienced. Screw the dog on the tuckerbox, Gundagai needs to construct a 30m concrete replica of Gundagai Tourist Suite's Tiny Home #501's external bathroom's showerhead, pronto. How many times have you had to turn down a shower for being both too hot and powerful, in a caravan park no less?! Also, the aircon was top notch.
The tiny house faced directly out onto a fairly busy road, so traffic was going past quite close. Also the only option to block it out was the blockout curtain - a sheer option might be good.

I've stayed here 3 times now - it's always an easy process with late check in, clean and facilities are great. GREAT hot shower after a long day of driving. Also cabin warmed quickly in the middle of June so that was great and didn't need the electric blanket but good to have!
Nothing, love this place. Thought I'd try the tiny home this time, probably prefer the suites since you don't have to go outside to use the bathroom but it was comfortable and clean regardless.

From the moment I arrived, I was greeted by a happy, smiling Angel and my stay was excellent. The room was sparkling clean and quiet, the bed was comfy and the facilities in the room were excellent- Toaster, kettle, coffee machine, microwave, ironing board, decent size fridge and all crockery you need. Any questions I had, were answered by staff and their recommendations of things to see, were great. I had a meal at the nearby RSL, can't say I can give them a glowing report though- service bad with an hour wait (including the soup!) and food was ordinary. But I will be returning to Gundagai Tourist cabins!
All was great, no complaints

Although we stay in Gundagai regularly on our trips between Melbourne and Sydney, this is the first time we've stayed at the Tourist Suites. We had a Queen Room which was well set and out and comfortable and our son had a Tiny House with it's private but outside bathroom. We'll be back to stay in the Queen Room, but don't fancy the outside bathroom of the Tiny House.
The bed in the Tiny House was on casters and moved quite a bit. Perhaps something could be put under the wheels to stop that.

The facility is brand new, which was a great plus. The room was quiet and cozy, perfect for a relaxing stay. The overall design and decor were cute and modern.
Unfortunately, the walls in our room could have been cleaner. The bed cover had noticeable stains, which was a bit disappointing. Our check-out experience was somewhat unwelcoming. The receptionist seemed unfriendly, responding with one-word answers and not even cracking a smile. A more friendly farewell would have been a nice touch.
