A beautiful house and garden with wonderful art deco furniture and objets d'art, everything so tastefully displayed. The house and bedroom were spotlessly clean, and bathroom well appointed with quality fittings. The mattress and pillows were extremely comfortable, bedding crisp and great quality. Our hosts were charming, friendly and helpful, nothing was too much trouble. And finally the breakfasts were very substantial and beautifully prepared and tasty. Milvil was perfectly located in a quiet and tree lined street, within 5 minutes walk of the sea front and shops, and very near to our friend, which was the reason for our visit to Lee on the Solent. We cannot fault the Milvil at all. I just wish I'd taken photos of Milvil to share with interested friends but those on the website are excellent.

There wasn't one thing we didn't like. It was absolutely perfect.

A beautiful building set back from a quiet, residential road. Greeted by the host who offered a much needed cup of tea on arrival. The Art Deco style is maintained throughout the building with some beautiful period pieces and some modern fixtures and fittings in sympathetic style. Everything was 'quality' rather than 'cheap and cheerful' (eg Villeroy & Boch porcelain) and there was bottled water and snacks in the room as well as the usual tea/coffee/hot chocolate. Very comfortable bed and the loan of a fan during the hot weather was most welcome. We enjoyed sitting in the secluded garden in the evening and admiring an interesting green and white planting theme. Excellent choice at breakfast and items made up to individual requirements.

Difficult to write anything here! We were in one of the smaller rooms and the en-suite was a little 'cosy' but beautifully clean and perfectly adequate for our needs. The style and quality of everything is so good that it is easy to forget that you are in a seaside B&B and not a rather special boutique hotel.

Location excellent. Hosts friendly and helpful. Delicious home cooked breakfast. Our room was spotlessly clean, warm and comfortable. Extensive choice of tea/coffee and snacks provided in the room. Lovely art deco furniture, decor and fittings.

Making breakfast choices the night before. While we understand the reasons for this we prefer to decide on the day. Drink choices had to be made as well - it would be nice to have at water/juice available in the dining room to help yourself.

The owners were very friendly and made us feel most welcome. The property is located in a quiet leafy road with easy access to the beach at Lee. It has a lovely garden which you can enjoy sitting out in. We had a lovely breakfast and so much to choose from. The room was clean and tidy and we had a lovely view of the garden. Would definitely visit again.

The property is an immaculately restored 1930s art decor period home. However, all modern conveniences have been careful included such as lots and lots of power points in the right locations, a bathroom that is a good size and lots of shelf space, a large shower with perfect hot water and excellent water pressure controls. Breakfast was magnificent with lots of varied options cooked to perfection. WiFi was very strong and reliable. The house is triple glazed and is in a very quiet location but easy walking distance to the beach, restaurants and shops. The hosts are wonderful and extremely helpful. They have over 18 years experience running this B&B. This place has set a new benchmark for B&B accommodation. Our room was cleaned and made up every day. Such a luxury. It really felt like we were pampered back in the 1930s.

Impossible not to like this place. It has everything. If I had to mention anything it is that the bed was a little firm for me but suited my wife. This is just a personal preference not a criticism. It is probably that the bed seemed to be brand new.

Well nothing I didn’t like. Would be ideal if we had a little fridge in the room to store cold drinks and food stay fresh instead of going down in the dining room to get some cold water.

Exceptional, superb, Milvil is the perfect place to stay. The location is fantastic, close to the beach and shopping areas. The 1930's decor is stunning, comfortable and stylish, a credit to it's owners. Everything is spotlessly clean. The garden is perfectly in keeping with the 1930's house, so tranquil! The breakfast is amazing. Enjoyed our stay on every level.

The house is stunning, beautifully decorated in the art deco style of the 1930's. It was very clean and comfortable. The breakfasts were lovely, a good choice and delicious. The hosts were friendly and helpful. Very good location for all the local attractions. Wonderfully quiet and peaceful place to come back to.

I didn't find anything to dislike! I enjoyed my stay there and would recommend it.

A stunningly beautiful property, a lot of time and effort has gone into creating the Art Deco experience as is evident by the attention to detail of both the building and the internal furnishings. The breakfast is top class, most enjoyable. While the property is a “must visit” for all art deco lovers, its beauty would be diminished without Angela and Steven, their love and passion for both the property and clients really is self-evident and second to none. Thank you for such a wonderful relaxing stay.

There was nothing to dislike.

The breakfast full English on first day was great, second day had poached egg and toast, again was great. Tea and coffee served was excellent.

The bathroom was quite small that's the only complaint but was clean and had a number of toiletries.
