The bedroom and bathroom are comparably large and very modern. The breakfast buffet is plentiful, offering eggs, cerials, bagels, fruits good coffee, etc. Definitively above the American average standard. They even have oatmilk. The location near chinatown, Manhattan bridge and the east broadway subway station is very good and one can walk to downdown / financial district in 15 minutes.

The noise by the trains and cars on Manhatten bridge is pretty loud, but bareable. The showerhead is fixed at an angle, making it a bit awkward to use (which somehow is common in American hotels for whatever reason). The breakfast buffet only has plastic cutlery, cups and paper plates (again, unfortunately very common in the US...).

The family rooms were spacious, clean, and featured nice internal decor. The air conditioning system was highly effective. The hotel spans seven floors and has two elevators, making it very convenient. The staff were consistently helpful, friendly, and welcoming, always with a positive attitude and a smile. The area was easily accessible and felt safe, with no real concerns about crime. Located in Chinatown, the setting provided a unique experience with many shops displaying signs in foreign languages. The subway (F line) was only a few minutes away, making city travel easy. The coffee at breakfast was excellent!

Our room faced the street and had nice city view. Occasional noise from police and ambulance sirens was noticeable. The air conditioning system, while effective, was noisy during the night. The closet was small, though adequate. The subway station near the hotel lacked elevators, making it difficult to carry bulky or heavy luggage. The breakfast was inconsistent, ranging from satisfactory to poor depending on the day.

The room was clean and comfortable, with adjustible heating/AC, reliable WiFi, a good amount of space and a large TV. The hotel was just seconds away from a bus stop and a three-minute walk from the subway, with easy connections to the rest of Manhattan, Brooklyn, and the Bronx. The area felt safe. There were nice cafes not far from the hotel. The gym was clean and easy to use, and the staff were very friendly.

The hotel is right next to the Manhattan Bridge, so the sound of subway trains was loud and continuous. However, this isn't so bad if you're out all day every day (which I was), and it's less frequent at night, making it easy to sleep. The breakfast had several options, but the cooked options weren't very varied.

The cold drinks options were great. We liked the dining area and the street view.

The only hot food options were eggs and sausage On a Thursday. On Friday waffles were added to the menu which were OK. We wished there was more hot food options.

I like the clean rooms and bathrooms at Fairfield. The location was good, 20-30 min walking distance from attractions like the Brooklyn bridge and 9/11 memorial. The staff was friendly and helpful. I had a comfortable stay.

I would have liked some more savory vegetarian options for breakfast (potato fries etc). Other than that the breakfast was good.

- clean room - free breakfast - TV allowed for Netflix login - had room service (even though the front desk told us it didn’t?) - close to a lot of eating, a movie theater and seemingly bustling night life - felt safe walking a night - could barely hear the train from room

- the room didn’t seem to maintain temp well.. was either freezing or hot and stale air until the air kicked back in to freezing - not many/ or great toiletries (only a small lotion and very cheap toilet paper) but that’s not a biggie - slow elevator at times (not a horrible wait time but definitely noticeable ) - didn’t let us check in early

The property itself is very ideally located, close enough to downtown manhattan and also easily accessible to both Brooklyn and Midtown by Subway. Besides that you are basically near China town and also not that far from Little Italy. Also another thing that made our stay even better were the staff, they were incredibly helpful and friendly, we truly felt cared for, but I do have to give a special thanks to Sharonda and Luli who work at the front desk for being the friendliest faces we got to meet during our stay.

The one downside is the noise from the Subway crossing the manhattan bridge but it’s very minimal.

Sean, who worked at the front desk, was our favorite thing about the hotel. Funny, gracious and super helpful. He led us to so many great places and great food. The room was super comfortable and spotless. There is a slight fish smell in the hallways (there are fish markets all around the hotel), but as soon as we stepped into our room, the smell was gone. The location, right at the edge of Chinatown and The East Village, was just perfect. It was easy to get to Brooklyn and Uptown via subway, and shopping and restaurants were right outside the hotel and accessible by foot.

We stayed in a family room. A nice big room with comfortable beds and several different pillows to choose from. The daily cleaning was very good. The hotel is in Chinatown with a lot of cheap and good places to eat. Jin Mei Dumpling just down the road is a good place for cheap takeaway dumplings. Close to the F train subway and several busses. We highly recommend this hotel.

We liked the breakfast but especially during the weekend you might need to wait for a table and it can feel a bit chaotic.

I booked this place because of the price and proximity to the Brooklyn Cruise Terminal. It was only a $28 Lyft even with a traffic diversion due to a marathon that morning. The hotel was able to hold our bags when we arrived super early and the room felt like a normal Fairfield inn room, not a tiny NYC room. There was purified water for refilling water bottles in the gym and a free breakfast! There were lots of playgrounds in the area for my daughter and, we were right of the F train which took us everywhere we wanted to go, and we were right by china town. We got some amazing mochi donuts and boba. I’m just surprised by the low price I paid for it all.
