Clean, pleasant room. Great water pressure in the shower. Good size room with a comfortable bed and seating area. Easy walk to the high street. Convenient market and restaurants close to hotel. Breakfast was tasty.
There was a continental aspect to the breakfast but for some reason customers couldn't get their own coffee refills. When I tried to get a refill I was scolded for doing so, then it took 15 minutes for any one to come to the table to refill my coffee. Just let people pour their own coffee. hotel is dated, but stays clean and well maintained.

Our stay at the Elizabeth Hotel was most pleasant and enjoyable with a subdued ambience. The room was large and clean, overlooking the parking but still very quiet. There was an extra bed and the tea coffee facilities were on par. There was ample hot water. We did not use the iron, ironing board or hairdryer. The staff were friendly and helpful, proving additional milk and coffee on request, and the breakfast was a very satisfactory start to the day. Overall, a very enjoyable stay and the location, while not close to the city centre, suited our needs and was the main reason for choosing the Elizabeth Hotel
The furnishings and fittings, particularly the passage and stair carpets, while very clean and neat, are due for a revamp. This is however a minor gripe as they did not detract from the air of comfort of a family run hotel. The wifi is suitable for texting and light emails, peaking out at under 5MB per second download.

We stayed here as a family of 4 adults and had 2 separate rooms. We requested an accessible room and this met the needs of my family. The hotel was convenient and in a charming location for getting a ferry. We had dinner at the hotel and it was delicious. The waitress was attentive and engaging. I liked how accommodating and helpful the staff were especially Kerry, the receptionist. The breakfast was fresh made and very tasty. There was plenty of choice and we weren’t rushed.
There was nothing to dislike. The hotel has a few cosmetic marks but nothing that distracted from the lively stay we had.

This hotel is ideally situated for both the University and cruise terminal. The staff are both friendly and welcoming and any issues soon resolved. It was hot in the room, however there was a fan that certainly helped.
The Hotel rooms are in need of improvement. The carpets are worn, chair stained and the decoration in our bathroom certainly needs doing urgently, walls cracked and the grouting black in areas. My pet hate in any hotel is when there is a bath which is great and then the soap dispenser is at shower height. Therefore you then have to stand up to wash, slightly defeats the benefit of a soak.

Lovely big room, beautifully clean. Really warma and friendly staff.
Car parking is limited and a little chaotic however they do have a system in place which appears to work once you get to know it! No hairdryer in room however ask at reception and they will loan you one. No daily house keeping. I forgot my hairbrush. No basics available at reception such as a comb. Was directed to Lidl nearby however they dont sell them either! Although we had blackout curtains, significant amounts of light come into room from external lighting on,wall outside room and they don't go off until early hours in the morning. Could do with going off sooner

The property was spacious, our room was nicely furnished, the bathroom was a good size. The shower was perfect, and the location was good, not too far to walk into the city, but far enough out to be relatively quiet. Our only 'complaint' was the bed didn't feel that comfortable, but that's probably because I'm old and my body doesn't relax well in a different bed. I cannot fault the staff, from the moment we arrived, until we left, nothing was too much trouble. Everyone we met was friendly, incredibly helpful and just made our stay so much more enjoyable. A special mention should go to Anna who was working in the breakfast room, she was polite, very helpful, and remembered us the following day, so kind of knew how we liked our breakfast. In all I'd recommend this place to everyone. I've travelled a lot for work, and I don't think I've ever felt this welcome. Thank you Elizabeth House Hotel, I wish you much success for the future.

The room was nice and clean. The bath is nice and big. The bedding was lovely and crisp. The room was quiet from the outside traffic. The staff are lovely. We’re just going down for breakfast which is included in the price along with free parking. Lidl, a indian and chinese takeaway and Dominio’s is opposite.
The room is abit warm for April so we turned off the heating and put the fan on from the cupboard, then it was much better. Luckily our room had a small double and a single bed so we slept separately because we were sweating from the heat of the room but id rather be too warm than freezing cold so

Location was great and easy to find Our room was lovely got moved up to a Superior Room, the bed was nice and big and the roll top bath was a treat. The Towel provided was large and for a plus size lady that was fantastic 😀 The evening food was good, breakfast time was busy but had a nice selection of cereals and pastries and then you order a hot breakfast of your choice. The staff were all super friendly and helpful Parking - if you can’t see a spot go in and ask for help and staff will show you where you can park.
these are minor niggles around our preferences. My husband wasn’t happy that there was no fixed shower as well as the bath. There was no hairdryer in the room and the light shines in all round the door from the hallway so kept me awake for a bit. Tea at breakfast was from a flask and tasted a bit off would have preferred a fresh pot of tea on the table.

After a warm welcome from the duty receptionist we found the room to be just what my wife and I required. Very comfortable beds and a really good bathroom with shower [almost new in fact and VERY clean!]. The in room facilities were certainly adequate [TV, kettle and sachets of tea/coffee] for what we needed. Although I had only a light breakfast, Elizabeth House Hotel's menu had provision for something more substantial should anyone so require. But if anyone, like me, required something light in the way of cereal, toast, fresh fruit, etc, the centre table would more than adequately catered for them. The member of staff who oversaw the breakfast room was very efficient and the breakfast room, like our bedroom, was clean and tidy.
I have no adverse comments to say about our stay at Elizabeth House. For a very brief stay I considered it good value for money and it more than lived up to our expectations.

Myself, Wife and Child traveled to Southampton for the weekend. We stayed in what seemed to be a recently refurbished part of the hotel. It was extremely clean and very tastefully decorated with a modern feel. We were able to park directly outside our room, so easy to carry the luggage! Just on the other side of the building was another car park with 2 EV chargers. Reception gave us a warm welcome and the same can be said about breakfast. A small buffet style continental breakfast was available whilst the cooked breakfast was cooked to order. The staff were very polite, positive and welcoming! We would definitely stay again!
There isn’t really anything I can add here. One of the beds broke but the next day we packed up our things and went out for the day, and whilst we were out, we were moved into another room so the bed could be repaired. All we had to do was swap room keys. So we weren’t overly impacted at all. The staff were very helpful and apologetic.
