Location is great, room was comfortable, I also had a balcony but didn’t use it much, view is amazing

I missed a kettle in the room to drink warm water, during a day I could just go downstairs to the bar, how we in the evening it wasn’t possible. Also it would be nice to have some cutlery. Bathroom had some mold but that’s what you get in old buildings. Also last one, would be nice to have more light spots in the room, personally I found it to be quite dark

Location of the hotel is within walking distance to a lot of the tourist attractions. The room was a decent size. The balcony was a plus since it provides a good view of the city. We are not able to try breakfast but the Hotel has a restaurant that has treats available for the guest. The best part is the bed, it was so soft and comfortable - best experience for a long day of walking around the city area.

Unfortunately, even with the door/windows being closed, it was too noisy outside. Looks like bar/party adjacent to the hotel with loud music and lot's of party goers having late night party. The bathroom light was unfortunately flickering and not that bright.

Good location near the best areas for shopping and the train station

The location is perfect for rail travellers - a stone’s throw from the station, and our room had an excellent view over the Limmat. The hotel rooms are above a bar, so it’s not immediately obvious from street level (though there is a large sign on the wall at roof level). The bar, lift and corridors could do with a facelift, but the receptionist was lovely and the room itself was clean and well-appointed. The beds in particular were extremely comfortable and had very good quality bedding.

The bathroom was very good, but the shower was on the small side - that would normally be ok, but its door opened inwards so it was physically impossible to close from the inside!

The hotel room is clean and comfy including the bathroom, they provide breakfast too but we are not managed to have it as we have an early flight to catch. They also provide a complimentary small sewing kit, which we feel it's very thoughtful. You may tell them the estimated arrival time and they allow us to do an early check-in if the room is ready. There's city tax you need to pay upon check in. The hotel is very near to the Zurich HB train station, around 5 minutes walk. There are many restaurants and bar nearby.

As there are many bar nearby, it's quite noisy at night but you can close the window. Also, the air-conditioner in our room is not working and the TV is a bit small and put on the table instead of mounting on the wall.

Location was great, close to the main train station. Room was very clean, comfortable, and quite, notwithstanding it is located in a busy zone. Staff was very friendly. I highly recommend it.

Not a big deal, but there is a bar in this hotel, I think is called Dadabar, small but with good vibes and good service. My only comment would be that for some reason Google states that this bar closes at 12 AM, and when we were there, they closed at 11 PM. Maybe they just need to update the hours so people can plan accordingly.

The room was small but all I needed and very comfortable. I stayed in 3 different hotels in the week and the bed and pillows were the best I'd slept on. It's 300 meters from Zurich HB and in the middle of all the action of the Alstadt. The room was soundproof and there is an AC which helped tremendously as it was very hot in Zurich the week I was there. There are no coffee making facilities in the room but Starbucks is 400 meters away and there are plenty of restaurants on your doorstep. Coop is also only 300m away so this is a good option if you want to grab a baguette for breakfast. The Chinese restaurant next door serves amazing food! #justsaying Everything is walking distance from the hotel... And the lake is a short tram ride away. If you're feeling adventurous grab a Lime scooter (use your Uber App to unlock it) and scoot down to the lake for a swim.

The TV in my room didn't work! No coffee machine / kettle or a fridge in the room. Breakfast is expensive!

For Zurich old town, this is a great value for money, in terms of location (very close to the train station and within walking distance to most of the old town), room size and ammenities.

The bathrooms were lackluster. We didn't get the room arrangements we asked. We didn't have the breakfast, but what we saw being offered was quite simple for the price.

I liked that it was in a great location for walking around town and close to the train station! AC worked really well and we had a nice view of the river and town! Staff was friendly and helpful!

Had to get used to the shower as to not flood the bathroom! TV didn’t work. They stated they knew and someone was supposed to be coming to fix situation. I know you shouldn’t be watching TV on vacation but a little wind down at night is nice. Old building and felt very sterile. Had cement walls made you feel like you were in a bunker but suppose that is part of the charm (didn’t really dislike that).

Excellent small hotel Riverside in Zurich center. Friendly and helpful receptionist and staff, lovely and great first impression of hotel. For context : our flight was delayed due to technical issues and we reached the hotel at 10:30 pm, however the staff stayed back and helped us with our check in. The location was central, beautiful and the surrounding atmosphere was great. Everything about the hotel was exceptional. It was a clean and stylish roomy with a great view of lake Zurich. Room itself was well equipped and comfortable. We were very pleased with our stay.
