The location was great, perfect for exploring Kenmare, close to all shops, restaurants and bars. There is free parking very close by. Our room was tastefully decorated with a very comfortable bed and windows overlooking the town. It was also very clean. The choice for breakfast was incredible and all cooked freshly to order for each guest. The ingredients were of a very high quality and it was all delicious. Our host was fantastic, really friendly, helpful and a great cook!
We loved everything, the only tiny hiccup was that our heated towel rail didn't heat up -I do like a warm towel after showering.

We spent over 2 weeks traveling across Ireland and did not come across a cleaner, accurately-priced, and more warm and welcoming accommodation than at Bridge Street. The host and owner Lucy made us feel like we were her favorite guests ever as it was easy to connect with her (and her incredible cakes, scones, and breakfasts in general). The room we had was clean, spacious, and updated in a classy, 1900s style. Kenmare is a great spot to vector out to Skellig Michael, Killarney, Dingle, Kerry loop, etc. Bridge Street is walkable to lots of high quality restaurants, pubs, and shops and parking is a few short steps away. I don't have a planned return trip to Ireland (yet), but I plan to stay here for 4-5 nights just for the food, company, and nice rooms. I recommend not missing out on Bridge Street!

This is the nicest Booking.com or bed-and-breakfast that I have ever stayed in. Kenmare, is a beautiful storybook town And Bridge Street Townhouse was absolutely wonderful. The young lady that runs Bridge Street is Lucy O’Sullivan. She is kind and funny and smart and sweet and so much fun to talk to, not to mention her recommendations of restaurants our great, if you can’t get in, she might even make a call. I cut my finger, and couldn’t find my Band-Aids, Lucy had already left for the store to bring me back my Band-Aid The next big bonus with Bridge Street is the morning breakfast. It is absolutely delicious, Fresh fruit, cereals, and they’ll cook your eggs, however you like along with bacon. Her place was immaculate. The beds were super comfortable. Thank you Lucy O’Sullivan, I hope to meet you again one day.
That we had to leave

The innkeeper, Lucy, was a force of nature. She rescued us after dark when we had a burst tire 4 km outside of town and she collected us pronto and helped us get the tire fixed and got us seats at the best restaurant in town. What a generous and profoundly witty character! She collects Persian rugs, as do I, so we connected immediately. She gave us fabulous tips for where to go and where to eat--everything. Made phone calls on our behalf. Made us laugh. The breakfast was fabulous--like eating at a fancy restaurants. She bakes, so there's always something delicious to eat in the kitchen. The room was big and beautiful decorated, with many windows. you must stay there!
It was perfect

Just loved the whole experience of staying here. The room was very spacious and clean and comfortable and on the main square of the town with everything you could possibly need close by. Parking was also freely available. Breakfast was very generous and fresh and we got to spend time chatting to Lucy, our wonderful host, who helped us with lots of suggestions for our itinerary and ongoing travels. We’re so glad we took her advice. Would definitely recommend staying here if you’re in Kenmare.

Our stay at the Bridge Street Townhouse in Kenmare was excellent. A beautifully renovated townhouse. Spacious, comfortable bedroom with a modern en suite bathroom. Conveniently located, two paces from Henry Street and Main Street where all the good pubs and restaurants are. Lucy was a superb hostess. Her advice on tourist sites and good restaurants was always on the mark. And she provided guests with a remarkable choice of gourmet breakfasts with farm-to-table ingredients (such as homemade pork sausages, free range eggs, and the like): a choice of a traditional Irish breakfast or avocado and eggs or French toast or buttermilk pancakes or eggs benedict or scrambled eggs. Delicious. We will return!
We regret only staying at the Bridge Street Townhouse for 2 days. We should have planned to stay longer.

This little B&B is amazing! Such a wonderful experience! The rooms are beautiful and clean and very comfortable. The owner is so friendly and offered excellent local recommendations. The location is ideal and is walking distance to everything in town. We ended our stay with the most delicious breakfast in the morning! Absolutely worth it and can't wait to stay again!

On arrival there was no-one around, but the door was unlocked. We found a check-in desk on the first floor with some notes that showed which room we were in. I phoned the number on the door and spoke to Helen, who confirmed our room number and said we could just let ourselves in. We found the room no problem, with the key in the door and were very pleased with the cleanliness and comfort of what we found. Being up on the top floor, there were a few stairs to negotiate, but this wasn't a problem for us. The first flight of stairs from the outside street are a little on the steep side though, so anyone with mobility issues could struggle. Breakfast was excellent, with a huge range of items to choose from as well as tea and coffee making facilities that guests could use any time as there are none in the room.
Tea and coffee making facilities in the room would be nice rather than having to go down stairs to make a cuppa in the morning.

Wow, this stay has been the highlight of our trip. We were greeted by Helen for early evening check in. She was so pleasant. The next morning we had an amazing breakfast made by Lucy. Absolutely delicious. Lucy gave us plenty of excellent recommendations of places to go, eat and things to do. All fantastic. Lucy also told us so much about Irish culture and traditions. Loved it. Hands down the best host and breakfast we’ve ever encountered. Food ingredients were top notch. The location of the B&B is perfect. Street parking was readily available. The accommodations were very spacious, clean and super comfortable. Forget Killarney, come here instead!! Highly recommend!
Nothing. Our only regret is that we had to leave :-(. Would love to have stayed longer than three days.

This is our go-to place to stay in Kenmare. Lovely modern building right by the town centre. The hostess is chatty and friendly with all the recommendations for things to do and places to eat. Breakfast is amazing and we love the the added touch of tea, coffee and cake available all day.
You can hear everyone coming and going at all hours, and the chats once breakfast starts. No problem if you're up early, not great of you want an early night.
