We stayed one night in the rooms and it was nice overall, rooms were clean and furnished in a moderate way and toilets were OK, they provide clean towels and electric powered fluid based mosquito repellent. The facility has a clean swimming pool, ping pong table and bats, billiard table, many nice garden sitting areas, it is a very nice for families with kids. Food is OK, with moderate prices. The second night we stayed at the Standard Villa which was below our expectations while it has a high potential if it gets some renovations (details below), it is spacious with many sitting areas and a garden with a big swing. Its location is best as it is very close to the center place for the best ready made pottery area, there are many nearby places to have pottery lessons, horse back ridding, and beach buggy rides, very close to many nice restaurants and cafes, also close to the Qaroun lake where you can take a boat ride. Don't miss to book a safari trip. Overall you have to consider that the place is a village style which was very nice for us, but if you need a modern style Hotel, this is not the place for you

The Standard Villa was below my expectation as it needs many renovations as it became very old, we needed more pillows and there were no availability, mosquito repellent were missing or missing fluid. On the other side they are building a swimming pool inside which is still under construction and they have a soon plan for renovation and in this case it will be a very nice choice for a big family (our case). Restaurants staff number is less than the capacity, may be due to EID holiday, also Kitchen equipment needs some improvements to be more modern and serve faster.

The property of the guest house is absolutely beautiful: it has gorgeous gardens filled with flowers, and the rooms themselves are both spacious and gorgeous. The location is perfect because it is a five-minute walk from the centre and a five-minute walk from the lake, and the breakfast is very authentic and delicious. But the highlight of the stay here is the staff: they are incredibly kind and helpful. Not only did they upgrade us for free, but they helped us find a taxi and participate in activities in the village.

Returned to this oasis for another 3 nights. Love it here. Staff are lovely, gardens and pools a welcome gift. A short walk to the centre of this peaceful friendly village. Enjoyed the traditional breakfast and dinners. Choice of eating inside or up on patio with view of the farmland and lake. Very popular with Egyptian families and young course participants. Will most certainly return, Egypt has my heart! Thank you for being my wonderful rest place!

Have stayed in both suite and superior queen, would love the use of a kettle!! 😊 Once I knew electricity goes off every day late afternoon that was ok. The rooms are not cleaned every day and you need to ask for towels, which again is ok once you know this.

The room was lovely, the shared areas in the hotel really beautiful and perfect to meet other guests or have fun amongst ourselves, but the best part about this stay was how helpful the staff was: they organized horse-back riding and a buggy ride for us, and were always very helpful.

Early in the morning some staff members and guests would start talking quite loudly right outside our room, and because the sound insulation of the walls and windows wasn't very good we kept being woken up.

Beautiful grounds, helpful and friendly staff and locals. Small pool, lots of flowers good size rooms and clean.

Our bed was pretty hard and uncomfortable. We were there in February and it's cold at night. Otherwise, lovely place and well worth a visit. Excellent value for money in a place well worth visiting.

Great suite of rooms at good value, balcony looking out over garden. Lovely lounge with great seating area. Big fridge! Beautiful gardens, 3 great swimming pools, good location, short distance up walkway to Main Street in village, good breakfast,

Water not always good pressure for shower and hand basin. A kettle would be a great idea!! And chairs to sit on balcony!

The guesthouse is a compound that consists of separated rooms built around gardens and a swimming pool and feels like a little paradise. There is a restaurant with good dishes.

When you travel with public transport, the guesthouse was hard to find.

We had a great, quiet and relaxing time at zad elmosafer. The staff was very helpful, especially the people taking care of breakfast (and meals in general). The pool area is amazing but with a loooot of mosquitoes. We also had a very nice ride to the desert with a 4x4. The breakfast is truly delicious!

It's like stepping into a natural paradise! The abundance of greenery and the charm of the stone buildings create a picturesque environment. The food is absolutely delightful, and the staff members are always friendly and cooperative. Overall, everything is simply excellent.

Just an advise: don’t follow google maps route and take the road to fayoum and then to tunis village as the shortcut road is extremely bumpy and in the middle of the desert.

The pool was excellent, especially after a warm day. The breakfast was delicious (the fateer particularly). The staff were beyond helpful and friendly.

There were some ants in the room but not a significant amount and the food besides breakfast could be improved slightly.
