The location of this hotel is excellent. Just 10 minutes away from Monterey Bay Aquarium and Cannery Road. Restaurants and retail stores available within minutes whether you are walking or driving. The staff at the front office was very friendly & helpful. The hotel room was very clean and presentable upon arrival.

The bed was super firm & on a metal box spring. I know a lot of people that wouldn't like that. The bed could've been a little less firm but it wasn't completely bothered by it. They only provide a small blanket between bed sheets. If you're into having big blankets while sleeping, bring your own. We used the heater system and kept the room at room temp so it was great on our end.

We had a nice time. The rooms were clean and check in was easy. One thing i found weird was that they entered our room while we were away on the beach. All they did was remake our beds and refill towels but it would still be nice in the future to only enter rooms when the people staying leave the ‘make up this room’ sign outside the door. We did not. We also ran out of toilet paper on the first night because the roll was almost empty and there was not an extra roll. We had to wait until morning to use the bathroom because there were no carts or staff to ask for more.

This motel is located in a central location of Monterey. It’s on the street that has many motels. It is in a safe neighborhood. The rooms are very clean.

This was my favorite hotel. However, it has been a while since I have stayed here. I asked for early check-in at 1 PM. I was told I would be charged an extra $60! I have stayed at the dream Inn in Santa Cruz, which is a very upscale hotel and never been charged for early check-in. The beds were very firm. Property quiet until about 6:30 AM in plane started flying over from the airport. I paid $145 for this room. On Booking.com. On the day arrival I could’ve got a room for $85. I thought with the weekend date and spring break that I would have a difficult time finding a motel. Apparently not the case.

The room was good size. It was clean. It looked newly modeled. It was centrally located between the golf courses that we went to. Close to restaurants, stores, gas stations, etc. and about 15 minutes from Monterey Bay aquarium. The staff was very friendly and it was an attractive property. I liked how we could drive right up to our room. my only criticism would be it would be great to have a little bit bigger TV and a smart TV so a person could sign into there subscriptions. And the bedframe was made out of metal and was a bit metallic noisy. But it was a good rate and we were very happy with our stay. we would return for sure. Plus, none of the rooms have carpet so they’ve made it pet friendly, which is a great perk/plus.

Upgrade TV to include smart features

We traveled with our dogs to visit our son in Monterey for Thanksgiving. The cottage was just perfect for our needs. I reserved the Queen Cottage that had a full kitchen and was able to utilize the fridge and oven and make Thanksgiving dinner to bring to our son's house. The appliances worked perfectly and it was so convenient. The cottage was roomy with two beds. The bathroom was spacious and the room and property neat and clean. Although located in a business area, it was close to everything, stores, the beach, walking trails, etc. The staff was friendly and accommodating. We would definitely stay there again.

There was a lot to like for us: We liked that we were booked a couple spaces between other occupants, so we had privacy, but not too much distance. I liked being close enough to the freeway, restaurants, and stores for convenience. The room was clean, nicely painted and furnished with the essentials. I enjoyed the modern mirror and sink which had plenty of space. Everything was not only in good shape structure-wise, but was also very clean. I also really enjoyed this property being one-floor, as opposed to multiple, and not having to hear neighbors. The cleaning staff were also kind and said hello in the morning which was nice.

Honestly this feels so minor to mention, but it could still be worth sharing. The only negative thing from this stay was our alarm clock went off at midnight despite us not setting any alarm. We were thankfully awake still, but I could see how that would've felt disruptive if we were asleep. Oh, and the bed was very squeaky.

We enjoyed the open space, the lighting was nice as there were a lot of options. The a/c works well and fast. TV always had good options of shows and movies to watch.

The fridge wasn't keeping food that cold but other than that it kept it cold enough. Whatever required extra chilled was then placed in an igloo with some ice. Make sure you stock up on water because I forgot to buy some on the first night and decided to walk to the vending machine in the morning but unfortunately there was no water but there were warm pop cans! Lots of ads on the t.v.

A great place to stay for short-term or a bit longer. Spent 2 nights with my husband here and it was absolutely great. The room is small but enough: there's a dining table for two, fridge and micro, desk with office chair, a big and high bed and a surprisingly big bathroom. Everything was tidy and clean. There's shower gel and shampoo in the shower, hand wash and lotion at the sink. Coffee machine with Starbucks coffee selection. You can park directly in front of your room. Everything is in reachable far, easy drive with car. There're 7eleven and other facilities nearby. I really recommend this place.

The blinds are a bit bad because not aligning perfectly when you turn them, so there's light in the room at night from porch lights.

As always it is in a great location with easy access to Carmel, pacific grove, downtown Monterey etc. The property is clean and the rooms are very clean. It seems they have upgraded their rooms and they feel very modern now. Parking is extremely easy as well.

The bed are a bit stiff/firm and was a little uncomfortable for my preference. The bathroom was remodeled but the new glass shower doors did not keep the water in well, and it seems to be effecting some dry wall near the corner of the wall meeting the shower.

Clean, great location, and you can park right in front of your room which makes it very convenient to move stuff from/to your car.

The blanket is too thin and the AC is kind of weird. It heats very quickly and once it reaches the set temperature, the hot air becomes cold air. If you didn’t turn it off, the room will become cold. So we decided to turn off the AC before we slept. But it gets cold at night and the blanket is way too thin. I did not get a good rest due to the AC issue.
