The stay at Bayview Lodge Bed & Breakfast was incredible. David was an exceptional host who went above and beyond to accommodate us. The spa was ready on request very promptly. He arranged dinner reservations for us and also made a beautiful scrambled egg on French bread each morning. I’ve spent most of the year travelling between NZ and Australia and this is one of my personal favourites. The perfect balance between accomodating and privacy with the most stunning view. A 10/10 stay!

Great location with spectacular views of the bay from the bedroom, pool or breakfast/lounge area. Spa Pool is awesome with stunning night or day views. Room is comfortable, with all necessities and heaps of luxury supplies. David is a master at hosting and makes guests feel absolutely welcome, with friendly chats and tons of activity, dining and entertainment recommendations. Privacy was never an issue when we needed it.

Nothing to fault here.

We have travelled the world and our experience at Bayview lodge ranks with the best. The breakfast table was a work of art with a view to match! The attention to detail throughout the property was a credit to David, who was a superb host. We stayed in the upstairs suite with stunning views of the bay and surrounds. We relaxed in the spa and enjoyed the gorgeous gardens. If you are thinking of visiting this part of the world we would highly recommend staying in this wonderful place!

Wish we could have stayed longer!

Absolutely everything. This place is a very high value gem, from the location (which is exquisite) to the host, who went above and beyond to make our stay exceptional. The property is a short and easy drive into the centre of town, where there is a great variety of bars, shops, restaurants, and activities to choose from. Overall, this is the place to stay at!

Nothing not to love.

This bed and breakfast is defined by its host. David is a fantastic human being, he understands the delicate balance between service and privacy, and allows you to feel comfortable in asking for a restaurant recommendation, to get the spa ready, to wash some hiking gear, and all the other wonderful peace of mind enhancements he offers. To top it all off - this place really does have a "bay view", and a breathtaking one at that!

Absolutely spectacular view from this immaculate and well equipped B&B. Our gracious host provided great suggestions on what to do, helped with dinner reservations, and provided us with a wonderful stay. He has thought of everything! From luscious bedding to chilled water to turn down service, this is five star service! The view is so stunning and we enjoyed the most relaxing time just looking out at the scenery. Highly recommend!!

Stunning suite in a beautiful house ,David went above and beyond to ensure we had a pleasant stay. From his exquisite breakfasts to activating the jacuzzi for a sunset dip, he really put an effort into making sure our stay was as comfortable as possible

David was an amazing host. He helped make our stay very enjoyable even though the weather was inclement. Breakfast and homemade bread was excellent

Everything was perfect

The view was spectacular! You could see right down into the bay and it was a perfect view for a sunrise. David is an amazing host, where nothing was too much trouble. Beautiful breakfast with crystal glasses and dishes, everything perfectly laid out. The spa was set up perfectly for us to relax after the long day of sightseeing
