The hosts were incredibly welcoming and helpful with recommendations. Guests have a separate den area to lounge in outside of the guest room. The continental breakfast was light, but appreciated. It was mainly cereal, toast, and a sugary yogurt cup. The local grocery store was a 5 minute drive away for snacks. The owners were generous to let us hang our laundry up to air dry outside.

The bed was okay, but I wouldn't characterize it as really comfortable. It didn't have much supportive cushion for curvy side sleepers. The tile on the bathroom floor is very slippery. Use caution. The only sink available for guest use is in the bathroom. This could be logistically awkward if you plan to supplement breakfast with your own food items or travel with snacks and containers that require washing.

Lovely hosts, who greeted us, to let us know, what we needed to know, then left us alone to enjoy our stay. It is a very lovely home, with great facilities, off the main road, with room to park at the front of the property, safe and quiet. For those hot days, there is a lovely swimming pool, right outside the room, off a huge patio area, which can be shared with other guests as well. Thankfully, there was a small wall fan in the room to help keep the room cool throughout the night. Sadly, we had to leave early, so we didn't get to enjoy the lovely breakfast, that was available to us.

Please note, the private bathroom with the shower, is at the front of the house, "outside the room" but not right by the room. Is a lovely bathroom, though.

We absolutely adored Sam and Jo providing breakfast foods, the little chats, the use of their pool, and the comfort of it feeling like our space, as well as our own separate shared lounge/dining space. We appreciated Sam and Jo’s professionalism. Thank you for a wonderful stay and allowing your space to become ours for the weekend! We will deffos be back! Xo

Lovely house and the owners were kind, generous and great to have a chat with and also helped us out heaps. The living spaces have everything you need including plenty of breakfast options as-well as a living space with Netflix. The place is very tidy and well kept and the house itself was beautiful and was close to shops making it easy to explore Tauranga and Mt Maunganui. Although there was no one else staying in the accommodation at the same time, as there are a few rooms so I could imagine this would be a great place to potentially meet other travellers. Would definitely recommend:)

Simply Excellent. Couldn't ask for more. The accomodation was clean and very comfortable. Stylish and well thought out. Everything was impeccable. Couldn't fault it. Our hosts were outstanding. Friendly, welcoming and super accomodating. Don't think twice, this is the best place we have ever stayed in Tauranga. Will certainly be back.

The location was great; quiet and peaceful. The room was excellent; comfy bed. The fresh fruit and yoghurt for breakfast was great, as was the french-press coffee. The proximity to local walking trails was a bonus.

Hosts Jo & Sam were just lovely and friendly. The view from the verandah and pool area were outstanding, and a lovely area to relax away from the heat. Beautifully presented rooms, with comfortable bed and very quiet area. Highly recommended, and would definitely stay again,

Lovely friendly hosts Jo and Sam. We felt welcome in their beautiful home. Smells like jasmine as you enter the front garden. Loved the pool and the view from it. Spacious room. Pristine bathroom. The continental breakfast provided was perfect. Fully recommend

The location is very handy for any kinds of leisure or busness, close to the city center but still in a nice residential area. The hosts were so nice and helpful fos us to stay comfortably... of course, the house is very tidy and beautiful. Look forward to coming back sometime!
