The Sir Adam Hotel was a quirky and fun hotel in an excellent location - an easy ferry ride across the water from the train station. While the rooms were small, there was enough room for our luggage and belongings. The bed was comfortable and the room was very clean. Our view looked out over a park - and was quiet. Having the music theme and a record player in the room was a fun touch in the decor. The bathroom and shower were quite nice. The hotel felt very security conscious - which we appreciated. Breakfast had many choices, and was very tasty food. Staff were very friendly and helpful. The wifi was available - although it was not secure. All in all, this was an excellent hotel and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Every time I visit Amsterdam, I don’t even consider staying anywhere else—this hotel is simply the one! Located in the heart of the city’s most exciting, up-and-coming area by the IJ river, it sits on the ground floor of the iconic A’DAM Tower, a building that celebrates music and interactive experiences in the best way possible. The moment I step inside, my mood instantly lifts. The buzzing café/bar at the entrance is a magnet for Amsterdam’s young, creative crowd—great food, top-notch drinks, and, of course, a killer music selection set the perfect vibe. Whether you’re starting your day with a coffee or winding down with a cocktail, the energy here is unbeatable. The staff of the hotel? Absolutely fantastic. Every interaction at reception is smooth, efficient, and genuinely uplifting. They’re sharp, quick, and always ready to help, making the whole check-in process effortless. Their positive energy is contagious, and you leave the front desk feeling even better than when you arrived. And then there’s the room—an absolute dream for any music lover. The design is effortlessly cool, with guitars on the walls and a vinyl player stocked with records, adding a personal, nostalgic touch. And let’s talk about the bed—so ridiculously comfortable that I sleep like a baby every single night. Honestly, the only reason I’d ever stop coming here is if it were fully booked. If you’re looking for a place that combines style, comfort, and an unbeatable atmosphere, this is it. Can’t wait for my next stay!

The fact that one can find it only in Amsterdam!

Very quirky hotel, loved the lifts one disco and the other karaoke made it fun. The rooms are lovely very stylish, clean and the bed was so comfy. The vibe in the hotel was brilliant, the butcher restaurant served fantastic food and we ate there twice. Transport on the ferry boat was every 5 minutes we mwver had to wait very convenient. We did not go to the swing or club but we could see how popular these were as it always looked busy. Overall so happy with our stay we extended by one night due to out flight being cancelled and the staff were very accommodating- recommend you book this hotel

The staff will go the extra mile to make your stay fantastic. Clean and very modern all over. Super cool elevators, both technical and design. Breakfast is one of the best I've had at a hotel. The restaurant is well visited, so book a table to be sure not to have to wait to be seated. Amazing food. Ordering is made with QR code at the table. The ferries are a few minutes walk from the hotel and will get you over to the centrum in no time, free of charge, with departure every 5-6 minutes.

Really nothing to complain about. I don't even have a suggestion to make anything better.

We liked the sky view from the top bar, the rooms were nice and comfortable with their rock industrial style. We had three rooms, one of them was a deluxe room. It was the best one. The rooms were clean and the showers were fine but…

The standard rooms bathrooms were little. In one of them we had the feeling of showering in a cupboard… not a great idea to separate the shower and the sink actually. The restaurants were not offering great food (but this is quite common in Amsterdam)

Sir Adam made our stay perfect! It is modern, clean and comfortable. The standard is 10/10 for the price that you pay. The staff are ready to help at any moment. We got engaged during our stay, and the hotel were so sweet! They provided us with many complimentary gifts and communicated well with my partner who prepared surprises in the room. The food at the butcher was fantastic, and ordering it to our room was so easy! The hotel has everything you could possible need and is a perfect location to get into the centre of Amsterdam. We will be returning, and we will be staying here!

I recently stayed at this hotel in Amsterdam and I must say it was a fantastic experience. The environment is extremely innovative and youthful, perfect for those seeking a modern and dynamic atmosphere. The rooms are well-furnished and equipped with all the necessary comforts for a pleasant stay. The hotel’s location is simply exceptional, situated in the heart of the city and just a short walk from the main tourist attractions. This made it very easy to explore Amsterdam without having to travel long distances. The staff were always friendly and helpful, ready to answer any questions and provide useful advice on what to see and do in the city. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking to have a unique and unforgettable experience in Amsterdam.

The room was so amazing and cosy. Brilliant view. Was quite worried about the ferry, but it was just always there and quite fun!

Just a 2 minutes walk to This is Holland counter to take the hop on hop off bus to Keukenhof garden. 5 minute free 24 hours ferry service away from the central train station to places of interests in Amsterdam and beyond. Get to choose the vinyl records to bring back to your room to play on the record player. Nice view of the harbour and the city of Amsterdam. Good security access at lifs and to the rooms.

The hallway is too dark.
