An Exceptional Experience at Kavya Himalayas I had the pleasure of staying at this luxurious resort in a beautiful three-story villa, featuring two master bedrooms and a spacious living room with an absolutely breathtaking view. The entire experience perfectly blended elegance and tranquility, with outstanding facilities including a wellness center, yoga sessions, and soothing singing bowl sound therapy — a truly rejuvenating retreat for both body and mind. Perched at an altitude of 2,100 meters, the property offers stunning panoramic views that will remain etched in memory. What truly sets this place apart is the genuine warmth and hospitality of the management and staff, led by the exceptional General Manager, Mr. Sudesh, whose attentiveness and professionalism ensured our stay was flawless. Special thanks also to Mr. Pratham, Mr. Keshv, Mr. Anil, Ms. Rojina, Ms. Maheshwori, and the entire team for their kindness and outstanding service. Kavya Himalayas is more than just a stay — it is a place that touches the soul, mind, and body, offering peace, harmony, and a deep connection with nature. The hotel's atmosphere, the bed, and the balcony in the room are super nice. The breakfast was beyond expectations. We were there in early May, hoping to see the mountain with some snow on top. Even if we missed that due to the cloudy weather, we were satisfied with everything and would love to return. Some staff members are very professional, attentive, and very well-trained, but I couldn't understand some of them. There are no significant issues, though. Overall, our experience was very positive. There are also activities included in our package but we didn't use them

Stunning location with exceptional views over the mountains. Spotlessly clean. Amazing staff and the food was plentiful and very tasty (best MoMos we had). The onsite spa was exceptional and I ended up going almost everyday. Rooms are enormous - and the bed was probably the most comfortable we have ever slept in.

The restaurant is very functional in terms of decor and ambiance. We expected a little better from a 5* hotel. Activities offered by onsite partner were eye-wateringly expensive. For example, a half day tour would have cost $250 for both of us. We ended up arranging a local driver (directly) to drive up around for the day and this cost us $50. Horse riding (which would have been lovely) was $350 for two hours. In short - you are probably better off walking to the local town and making your own arrangements.

Big rooms, amazing staff and beautiful location. Food was excellent with lots of choices. The Spa was amazing, highly recommended!! Lots of activities to arrange like trekking, hiking and helicopter rides. Yoga is also available on site. Also it is nice that it is exclusive in terms that outside visitors cannot enter the resort.

People with children were noisy, staff did not talk to them at all. I think a place like should be adults only. The electricity was turning off and on every several hours. Also I think you should have a golf cart to drive people to their rooms, my room was a 10m uphill walk which was not easy for a high altitude location (2200m above sea level)

Luxury in Nepal. Beautiful resort, perfect spot for a luxury break in Nepal. Stayed with friends for couple of nights at this amazing resort during a 3 week tour of Nepal. Very attentive staff, amazing rooms, fantastic food and great location. Although we couldn't see too much of the 'mountain views' due to polution/smog and the time of year, this was a very peaceful and relaxing place to chill out for a couple of days. Could go for walks, great spa facilities, yoga available, plenty to do, or not.

Felt like communications between staff and management lines wasn't necessarily working at its best. Two taxis turned up, multiple calls for yoga - at different times, multiple reminder calls for many things. Our personal butler was fantastic. Office calls for reminders and 'would you like to' opportunities way too over the top. We had 14 missed calls at one stage.

I doubt there is anything I can say about how great our stay at Kavya was that’s not already been said in the other reviews. Even though it’s a drive to get to the property which is isolated from the city, that’s what makes it stay-worthy. Go if you want to disconnect from the world for a bit, enjoy nature in its purest form and be surrounded by warm and happy staff. While the food menu options are quite limited, it helps to focus on eating healthy and without wastage. The Villa was spacious and comfortable complete with a private gazebo to enjoy a beverage. The amenities were great and going up and down the stairs in a 3 stores villa was a great workout. The Kavya staff were nice enough to organize a painting session for us outdoors overlooking the Himalayas. We were also able to enjoy a spiritual walk and a meditation session (complimentary) with the Guruji who educated us on different benefits of the botanical surrounding. Overall, it was a great experience and we hope to be back for a yoga retreat when the spa village and swimming pool is constructed.

There isn’t a lot to do outside the property unless you buy one of the activities on offer so I would suggest only visit if you want to stay indoors, enjoy nature and the pleasant atmosphere. If you are looking for activities/explore the city, you are better off staying at a more central location where the price for both the hotel and activity would be lesser.

Kavya Himalayas was unique, beautiful and private, perched on Nagarkot mountains. The villa was amazing, tastefully decorated and stunning views of the Himalayan ranges. We even went for a morning short hike to see the sunrise from a vista point. They made our anniversary celebration extra special with top notch service and experience. Excellent stay in Nagarkot, highly recommend!

Absolutely nothing

“I went to kavya with my family and we love the place. Its a perfect place to relax; away from chaos. We had a wonderful experience and I would highly recommend this place”. We love the food. The food was very delicious. The staffs were incredibly kind and really impressed with the fact that they took our feedbacks with a positive attitudes. I would definitely be back with my family again.

We love the place. It is very relaxing and you get to do many activities in the place. Its a perfect place for everyone. Its a place you can relax and engage in different activities. It’s completely a unique and lovely place to be. You also get to attend the yoga class with one of the impressive and highly intellectual yoga guru. My family and myself we really had a great time yoga guru.

Magical place. Amazing views. So peaceful. The individual villas are so beautiful, spacious and comfortable. Free drinks in the fridge. Great selection on tea leaves. Food was so delicious and fresh. On top of all that there is gurugi who does lovely yoga, walks and meditation sessions. So knowledgeable.

No pool now, but amazing new addition of wellness centre will be ready very soon

Everything there was exceptional, from the clam peaceful atmosphere to the food to tge amazing staff. The owner herself made a point of always checking in and made me feel so welcome. It was pure luxury in every way
