Location was perfect, at the heart/center of Medina (the square). The stuff was so welcoming and professional, they took care of us at any moment, whatever we needed, day or night, and the atmosphere was family like. (as 2 girls traveling, this was very important to us, to feel safe) Especially the gentlmen that was there 24/7, always with a smile for the guests. (I am really bad with names) To sum up - clean, safe, great location, good (mostly sweet) breakfast, peaceful and great hospitality.

My sister and I stayed at the Riad Azra and we only have good things to say. First of all, a huge thank you to Khalid and Layla and the rest of the family. We arrived on the 5th of March and stayed until the 10th. We had booked the transfer to the hotel, everything went smoothly. We were welcomed by Khalid that explained everything perfectly and of course we had their amazing tea (by the way the BEST I tried in the whole trip). Everyday they would ask if we needed anything and they helped us with restaurant recommendations, booked massages and truely anything you would need!! The Riad is near almost everything, a very centric location. Every morning we would have breakfast outside at the rooftop, that was really yummy! You can really tell that they LOVE what they do and it's so homey. In the end the worst thing was having to leave, they made us feel at home! We wish them all the BEST, we recommend staying there 100% We will definately be back in the future!

Nothing, there are very tiny things but if there was a problem they quickly would fix it.

The location of the Riad is perfect if you like to have all must see locations nearby including the Jamma El Fna, which is within a couple of minutes. This made it super convenient to see everything and be a couple of minutes away (on foot) from major pick-up points for the daily tours.

Breakfast was average at best. This was our first time ever staying in a Riad style accommodation. So we were really not sure what to expect. After this Riad, we stayed in multiple other Riads in Morocco and found the quality of breakfast the lowest of all. If you leave early for an excursion, then you would get a fraction of that as well.

I recently stayed at Riyadh Azra in Marrakech and had a truly wonderful experience. From the moment I arrived, the staff were incredibly kind, thoughtful, and accommodating—nothing ever felt like too much trouble. Their warmth and hospitality really made the stay special. The bedroom was spotlessly clean, comfortable, and beautifully kept, offering a peaceful retreat from the bustle of the medina. One particular highlight was the mattress—firm, supportive, and exceptionally comfortable, making for a fantastic night’s sleep every night. The location is also ideal, tucked away just enough to feel serene, yet close to everything you’d want to see and explore in Marrakech. All in all, I’d find it very hard to fault Riyadh Azra. It’s a place I’d highly recommend and would gladly return to on a future visit.

It’s not that I didn’t like the location—on the contrary, it’s actually a great spot once you find it. But I would definitely recommend planning your route in advance before arriving, especially if it’s your first time in the Medina. To reach Riyadh Azra, you go down a narrow street and then deeper into another small lane, which can be a little tricky to navigate at first. The Medina itself is a very busy, stimulating, and sometimes overwhelming place, especially on arrival. That said, this isn’t a fault of the Riyadh at all—just a tip for future guests to help make arrival smoother.

The staff was extremely friendly! They made sure we had everything we needed. Khalid was really helpful giving us tips of what to do in the city and taking good care of us. The breakfast and pool were a really nice plus as well! The double room with private bathroom was very spacious and the AC worked nicely, giving us a nice scape from the extreme heat in Marrakesh. The location is perfect, a 3 min walk to the main square. Really recommend this riad! One of the best Booking experiences we've had so far. A perfect goodbye to our amazing trip to Morocco :)

We had a good stay here. The customer service was amazing — the staff were friendly and very helpful. Khalid and Layla made sure that we have a great time in the Riad and the city. Everything was clean, and the breakfast was tasty. The location is good, with everything within a walking distance.

We expected a bit more from the room itself; it didn’t quite meet our expectations in terms of comfort or features. It was also a bit hard to find the Riad the first time. Still, the overall experience was very positive.

Excellent location, very quiet inside and only 1 minute walk to the main square. There are plenty of restaurants around and loads of markets to wander through. Comfortable beds (firm mattresses), plenty of hot water, and good pressure in the shower. Breakfast was eggs, bread, cake, and tea or coffee.

The transfer isn't worth it. It cost €15 (a taxi from the road to the airport was only €10). The driver turned back to the airport after we had been driving for 5 minutes, and it turned out he wanted to get more people. Then left us on the side of the road near the square. Apparently, someone was meant to come and get us and walk us to the road. After 20 minutes, no one came, so we used Google maps and walked there ourselves (it was only 10 minutes away.)

Great location, perfectly clean and with very friendly staff. Halid (not sure the name is correct) was super helpful, kind and very patient with our kids. One thing I would suggest to improve is adding more variety at breakfast (fruit, eggs, maybe something salty). The price is in my opinion a bit too high but I guess Marrakech is becoming a more popular destinations and prices increased. Overall a beautiful riad, a great experience and absolutely suggested.

Layla and Adel were very welcoming,friendly and helpful. They were very accommodating and helped us find our way around the main attractions of Marrakech. The raid itself is extremely clean and is perfectly decorated to give us the taste of Marrakech. It is perfectly positioned just 2 mins from the main square which makes it very accessible during the day. They provided comfortable and timely transport to and from the airport, and helped with basically questions we had. Absolutely amazing and would recommend this place to everyone! Layla and Adel are definitely friends now!

That our stay was too short!

Can't say enough good things about our stay at Riad Azra! Our room was cosy, comfortable and spotlessly clean, we loved our breakfasts on the lovely sunny terrace and the location was superb, close enough to the main square of the medina that you could walk there in a few minutes but it was also really peaceful. All the staff were welcoming and friendly but I want to make a special mention to Layla who was always so warm and friendly, always asking how we are and if we need anything and also Adil, who genuinely who could not have done more for us, including walking us to get a taxi in the middle of the night to go to the airport and bringing breakfast to our room early before our trip. Thank you all for making our honeymoon extra special, we look forward to staying again one day!
