The architecture we perfection and the rooms had the most comfortable beds and space to relax. Truly the most stunning and tranquil hotel I have ever been to. Worth the stay. Eugenio was amazing at recommending local food and sites and what was truly worth the trouble. A great experience.

Breakfast was expensive. It was cooked perfectly, but I felt the burrito I had lacked spice and some flavor. I was hoping for much more flavor in the spices and the salsas for something more pricey.

Everything. The pictures don’t do this property justice it’s a 10/10 amazing experience. The staff was exceptional and accommodating even before I arrived. They arranged transportation and even went above and beyond to get me a buggy at special request. My vacation was exceptional because of it. We had a fantastic time at Milam! I’m surprised it is not completely fully booked as it is possibly the most beautiful hotel I’ve ever stayed at. The staff are fantastic (especially Lucia) they couldn’t have been more helpful. I would definitely recommend. We stayed for 5 nights and that felt just about the right amount of time.

Limited main food choices, and there were limited ‘snacks’ considering mini markets are not right next door (we didn’t want to cycle down the busy road)

This hotel is so amazing!!!! What I liked most about this property is how luxurious and homely it feels. From the moment you arrive the staff are so lovely and attentive the entire time. The place is decorated so beautifully you just want to take photos everywhere you go. The pool in the room is a once in a lifetime experience. The food at the restaurant was perfect and there is a cute boutique at the front. The hotel itself is really perfect and adds to the bohemian experience of being in Tulum.

The only negative for us (which may not be the case for others) was the location. As we were only in Tulum for 4 nights, most of what we came to see was closer to the hotel zone and the beaches. As a result we spent approx $50 Australian each way for a taxi to the beach. We did this every day which ended up being quite costly for us. This is not a negative of the hotel itself, as it doesn’t claim to be a beach hotel, however it would be important for travellers to know this fact. If you are more interested in staying in a local area closer to downtown, this hotel is absolutely perfect. For example we rented a scooter and were able to scooter around to some great local taco spots downtown. Still a 5 star rating! Just a bit of extra info :)

Amazing paradise in the jungle. Very stylish rooms with private indoor pool and little details aimed at making your stay romantic. Great food at the local restaurant. Absolutely amazing pool - the largest (longest) we have ever seen. Very professional staff - we felt being taken personal care of all the time. Special thanks for late checkout. Separate special thanks to Leo, who is a master-waiter, and to everyone at the reception desk - we really enjoyed our stay and can wholeheartedly recommend the Milam to anyone visiting Tulum.

Not complaints but rather recommendation for improvement: The property is a bit tricky to find using GPS. Google Maps will take you to the spot in the jungle on the other side of the hotel from where you cannot even see it. The directions on this site point at totally different location on the main road. If legally possible, a couple of signs in the main road pointing to the hotel and clearer instructions in welcoming message might help. Those sensitive to A/C may feel not entirely comfortable- due to high humidity it is not good to keep the A/C off and, without any windows opening, you cannot get any outside fresh air into the room. Excellent work by the hotel staff made us forget these little inconveniences.

I don’t have one bad thing to say about Milam! This property and the staff are absolutely exceptional. From the moment we arrived to the moment we left, we were treated so well and constantly pinching ourselves that we were lucky enough to experience this gorgeous place. My family and I have been lucky enough to visit some amazing places, but this is BY FAR the best property AND staff we have ever had the privilege of experiencing. Truly a dream!!

Nothing! The only thing I might say is that this property is on the outskirts of Tulum town - it was a little hard to initially find and is on an unpaved/unnamed street. However, this did not bother us at all! We truly felt like we were in our own sanctuary. It is still within walking distance to town and a short drive to the beaches :)

The intimacy, ambiance, rooms were spacious, clean and comfortable. Great treat by all personnel. The communication is awesome and the staff is always looking to make sure your experience is memorable.

The restaurant menu was not updated and they were short on lots of items and ingredients. The check in requires a deposit that has to be on credit card or cash, no debit card accepted, but there is no prior notification about that to be prepared.

The design of the hotel is absolutely beautiful. The reception team was so nice and helpful and always ready to help. The pool was fun...

The location of the hotel. It's pretty far away, and taxis are so expensive. The restaurant's menu is limited, and the food is not that good. Eventually, in a hotel this expensive, you wouldn't expect that workers ask for tips. The waiters sometimes ask for tips even when they didn't serve you.

The property sit beautifully in a jungle like experience. We loved how the pool ran from the from of the property all the way to the back. The staff was super friendly and very responsive to any and all of our request and needs. We absolutely loved how responsive the messages were from the front desk staff starting way before our trip all the way after our stay.

During our stay we did not have any issues to bring up.
