It’s in the centre. (FYI, it’s a 40 minute walk from bus station). Basic but clean and comfy. Can’t complain for the price! There’s enough common space but be aware it’s outside. (Quite windy when I was there.)
Rooms are small so you can’t move in there much of people don’t put their packs in the big lockers provided. Bathroom has a constant sewer smell. The older male staff is a bit particular. (Eg. I asked for the bottom bunk at check in. He said no as they were taken. There was no one else checked in at the time. And only one other guest checked in after so there were two free beds in the end. He then told the second guest that her friend had to stay in a different room when there were two free beds. He also told me I couldn’t put my day pack in the luggage storage as it was full but my backpack was already in there and there were just two packs there with lots of space. He made me move my backpack out to under the stairs if I wanted to store the two items together.)

The property is quite modern and very spacious. The bed was large and comfortable and the TV had Netflix built in. We ended up staying an extra 2 nights and got straight into the new room. The person I was speaking to on WhatsApp could not have been more helpful, thanks again!! I also went on the Sumidero Canyon tour via this accommodation and would highly recommend it.
The check in was a bit strange, the cleaner let us in as the receptionist was cleaning upstairs and there was a lot of confusion as to where we were staying as it is a mix of studios and hostel blocks. I also had to ask for toilet paper as there was none in our room.

The place is clean and spacious. The bed is massive in the loft and it’s nice that we had our own kitchen.
The staff didn’t try at all to connect. They all seemed bored, not really attentive and didn’t seem to have a service mind. From all the places we stayed in mexico this was the least inviting one. Some more smiles and a little effort to connect would make us feel more welcome.

Location, big terrace
Staff wasnt very knowledgeable about the activities to do around Tuxtla, incl. e.g how to get to certain destinations, like Sumidero, Aguacero etc….. i understand that there is push to sell tours but the staff should be trained to give the necessary info on reaching the commom tourist destinations….

Perfect hostel. Hats off. Constantly cleaned hostel, sparkling clean everything. Air conditioning, lockers with padlocks, key to the dorm room to share with either 1 or 3 people. Hot and cold drinkable water from dispenser, blender, microwave, stoves, cutlery. Nice and breezy dining and chilling area. Check out is at 12 but they let me chill around there no problem. The very young girls working there are as sweet as chocolate. Viva Mexico!!!
I would suggest adding a little area for hanging clothes for those who hand wash due to travelling with a tiny backpack but anyway there is a launderette nearby which charges very little.

Central, kitchen, a bit of a family vibe
The walls of the rooms were quite thin. You could hear everything that was happening in the kitchen/ common area. Also lots of glass, which made you sleep very light, since the rooms where next to the common areas where the light was almost always on.

Nice rooms, comfortable mattress and plugs near the bed. Big lockers for luggage. Rooms with AC. The terrace is nice and there is a fridge. Free water.
The AC control got lost and AC was running constantly in my room (I mean it's their electricity bill...). The kitchen really only works for simple stuff, a lot of utensils missing.

The layout, the facilities, the atmosphere. Of all the hostels I’ve stayed in, this one was one of the best in terms of quality. Staff were helpful, guests were friendly.
The wifi could’ve been better, not sure if it was the TV that used up a lot of the bandwidth.

Good location in downtown, great staff (that only speak Spanish mind), clean and well equipped (own locker and lock, shared bathrooms, toilets kitchen, fridge and free water!), as I was in a small (two bunk beds) dormitory room
The distance from the ADO station, about 1.7 miles, around a 40 minute walk, so a taxi might be in order?
