Everything was nice about the hotel. Big beautiful rooms and absolutely perfect scenic location. Easily accessible and comfortable travelling to all the three cities via boat and ferry station that’s exactly opposite to the hotel. Lots of eating options at the short walking distance. If you’re looking for HALAL options that too are available at 8 minutes walk from hotel, including chick king and one Turkish restaurant. Also an Indian/ Pakistani restaurant at 4-5 minutes drive away.

Watch your check out receipt carefully before leaving because we’ve been charged a restaurant bill of almost 100 euros by mistake and we have not eaten from hotel restaurant, so check thoroughly your check out receipts before leaving. We thankfully did and staff was quick to amend the mistake.

Breakfast choices were great and food was first quality - prepared well. The staff was outstanding !! It was our grandson’s 9th birthday - Lieke, Valentina, Caterina in the Front Office arranged for balloons and towel art (an elephant and birthday cake sculpted out of towels) - amazing. We appreciated their attention, politeness, and hospitality so much that we sent them a box of candy as a thank you after check out.

Lights were a bit dim, but we understand re energy efficiency.

Everything! Stunning hotel, enormous rooms which were more than you could need, incredibly helpful staff who go out of their way to help make your stay wonderful, beautiful location right on the harbour with gorgeous views over historic Malta and very close to plenty of lovely restaurants and the ferry over to Valletta.

Nothing to complain about, only minor thing was no umbrellas by the pool area (not a problem if you're a sun worshiper, but for someone pasty like me we need to hide away every now and then!)

This stunning historic hotel is located close to numerous very good restaurants and in easy walking distance to the ferry to Valetta. Breakfast was very tasty each morning and varied. Staff in the hotel were very helpful and friendly. The swimming pool was never crowded and had the most wonderful views over the harbour. Would definitely visit again in the future.

Breakfast was table service but it would be nice to have some items that you could help yourself too as staff didn't always remember your full order.

Fabulous location on the harbour, with 5 minute ferry to Valetta and wonderful restaurants very close by. The hotel is beautifully restored, modern while capturing a feeling of historically authentic. Welcome drinks were well-received! The pool on the roof was an excellent place to cool off after a day of exploring the islands. Breakfast was beautifully presented and very tasty. Staff were attentive and exceptionally helpful; remembering our names and going over and above to offer things like beach towels for our daily excursions were obvious reasons of why this hotel continues to get high ratings with guests.

Hardly worth mentioning but perhaps it would have been nice to have some area of fixed shade at the rooftop pool for windy days when the umbrellas couldn’t be used.

Great location and unique design created by locating the hotel in a medieval fortress. Convenient ferry to Valletta just around the corner. Very good breakfast. Super nice and helpful staff. Amazing city view from the rooftop pool. Very good airport transfer service at a reasonable price.

Breakfast orders sometimes come with minor errors. Rooms could be cleaner - room floor was not clean enough to walk barefoot. Also, salt deposit from the medieval ceilings and walls falls everywhere in the room or bathroom (but that's the price you pay for a room in such location).

Room was big enough and comfy, great to have iron in the room as it become less popular these days. Also the access to rooms is off the main entrance which to my mind is good.

There were several minor things: 1. vanity set missing 2. tooth paste, tooth brush missing 3. small thing regarding light switching - there are two entrances to toiletry, but only one place for switching. 4. please consider changing TV so it has Youtube at least, because your channel selection is very poor.

The location is the hotels main value. A nicely developed and restaurated part of an old Maltese city fortification. The ferry boat to Valetta is 1min per foot from the location. The ferry needs 10min to cross over the Main harbour to Valeletta where most of the museums, cathedrals and cafes are located. Parking is possible in fron t of the hotel. The staff is very nice and welcoming and asks about your wellbeeing. Enough coffee, tea, drinks and snacks at the minibar........ Fast internet!

Don't expect a daily changing touristic program etc., although they will arrange or book everything you ask for. But this is nothing I would count negatively.

The location was excellent with ferry service into Valletta a short walk from the hotel. A lovely rooftop pool with views. Room extremely comfortable and spacious. Staff extremely friendly and welcoming. Would 100% recommend and would return.

Breakfast service was sometimes slow. Had to order off a menu (including cereals, continental etc) therefore food would arrive as and when. Perhaps a buffet style for cold food would be more practical and easier for guests? We often had to ask for lots of little things multiple times e.g milk, teaspoons, cutlery etc.

We had a harbor view room, which was a fantastic split level size and extremely comfortable, with great views of the harbour. The rooftop pool also had great views. Staff were attentive and friendly and the breakfasts had lots of choice. A bonus was the water taxi to Valletta was a few minutes from the from of the hotel on the harbour.
