S`ekar Pinang was everything we were looking for on our visit to Langkawi. We stayed for 8 nights, and we couldn’t have been happier with our choice. Big shout out to Zam and his staff that did everything they could to make our stay very comfortable and enjoyable. The rooms are beautiful, spacious, clean, and has everything you would need during your stay. The pictures and descriptions are very accurate, what you see is what you get! Zam helped us book a car at a very affordable price which comes highly recommended because all big attractions are almost always a 30-minute drive away. There are many restaurant options nearby but not in walking distance. You will either need a car or a scooter. The breakfast was amazing every morning and has everything you need. We especially liked the local breakfast options they served. If you are looking for a very beautiful and relaxing place to stay, S`ekar Pinang comes highly recommended. My daughter also sends her love to “Teh” the very friendly accommodation watch dog! Thank you again Zam and all the other staff, I hope we get to visit you again in the future!

There's nothing we didn't like but I'd like to suggest a rack for bathroom amenities while showering and an umbrella in the room to get to breakfast on rainy days!

Our stay exceeded our expectations. The view, location, breakfast, and host, Wan, were all exceptional! They also had the cutest 2 resident pups that greeted us every day♡. Our host Wan, made sure we had a fun filled day, giving us plenty of recommendations on what to see and do during our 5 day stay. The included breakfast items were a delicious assortment of local foods and fresh squeezed juices that changed daily. Our chef also prepared eggs to our liking perfectly. She was such a sweet and kind person. Everyone was so kind, gracious, and welcoming at this location. We will be back next year for a longer stay. I highly recommend this location if you want a village resort, non touristy feel, quiet area of Langkawi

The room service was good, in-charged is friendly and efficient. The aircon is super cold, outside pool view is amazing, bed soft and comfy, toilet seat is modern and automatic equipment installed and more! It's very relaxing for a getaway. Recommended to all.

Due to the location of the chalet, there are of course some insects that are difficult to control from entering the chalet, but this does not prevent the stay from being wonderful and we are happy with it and we will try to repeat it .

I absolutely loved all the meticulous and carefully curated art pieces in the whole resort. If you are looking for a place to transport you out of all the busyness of life, this is what you are looking for. The ambience, the whole concept of the resort is one of a kind. Absolutely loved our stay, and can't wait to be back! Of course, they had really great staffs, who would not hesitate to go an extra mile to accommodate all your requests.

Probably, the only thing was the drive up to the resort was a bit scary, and the roads outside aren't well lit.

The cook, Fatimah is excellent. All breakfast is freshly prepared. From fresh fruit, local delicacies, fried noodles, roti etc. She cooked rendang specially for us when she heard that was my husband's favorite. The saltwater swimming pool is fantastic. We saw kite flying in the padi fields from the pool. The air quality is super fresh since the hotel has acres of trees, local flowers, herbs and plants, coconut and banana tree. Staff are friendly and helpful with smiling face. This is our second visit to Langkawi since 1982. The town area and beaches have changed. But the hotel remains super home style in tranquil setting.

Our shower control is problematic. Need adjustment.
