Great host, very good, fast, easy comunication, very clean (no shoes inside), good shower, good location - few minutes walk to bus, train stations, 30 min walk to ferry to go to Smiltynė beach/travel to Nida/sea museum, Melnragė beach 13 min by car, taxi bolt is cheap. Outside 2 min walk in bus station building is a coffee food place with plenty options to eat. There was possible to leave items before and after the check in / check out times, it seemed nice, quiet hotel (I don’t if it was my luck or it’s always like this, only there were 2 tourists talking in the kitchen at midnight, once they finished it was very quiet, not too much noise from outside), good air, nearby are pine and other tree forests, it’s nice for cycling, you can rent a bycicle and take it to ferry to Smiltyne/Neringa/Nida, in Nida you will find unique place - dunes. Food supermarkets - maxima, norfa, iki, rimi; big shopping mall with ice skating called Acropolis. Have a great time everyone.

The location is the best. Across the parking lot from the bus station. It's a bit of a walk to the old town but you can catch a city bus right there so it's very easy. It's clean and spacious and quiet.

Only thing, which is not the fault of the owners is that, in my mixed dorm room there was a guy who snored and another guy who farted. It wasn't pretty. I mentioned this to the owner and suggested that she make one room a girls dorm, and later she told me that she had done this. That's when you know you have found a good place, the owner asks, listens, cares and deals with the problem.

The location is a short walk from the train station and a ‘stone’s throw’ from the bus station. It is quiet and well maintained. Rooms are a good size and bathrooms are clean. Kitchen looks well equipped, although, I didn’t use it. Best of all, the owner, Jurgita, is absolutely lovely! She was SO helpful, recommending places to eat/see. I rented a bicycle from her for 2 days to explore the Curonian Spit. It was the best thing I could have done. Absolutely fabulous! A bicycle is definitely the way to go! I cycled to Nida, stayed there the night, and the next morning, looking around. Got the bus back in the afternoon.

Absolutely nothing! It’s so good, I’m staying there again tonight. I recommend it to everyone!

Very clean, staff very responsive (also over whats app, booking, you name it, they respond). I could leave the luggage in the morning. I had a bike and it was no problem to store it in a locked room. Many toilets and showers, two kitchens which was amazing as it was never crowded. Sleeping in bunk beds, the privacy of the down bed is super cool with the curtains. Great location - opposite to bus station, near train station and literally 1 minute from a supermarket, not far from the center of Klaipeda. They offer ear plugs. The beds are super comfortable. I enjoyed my stay in this hostel.

FYI - not sure how the washing works but at the time of my stay it was 10 eur per laundry

Excellent place in all ways. It's very near to the bus station and to the grocery shop (IKI) and restaurant. The hostel is really very clean and well organized. The owner, Ms Jurga is such a nice person, with a big heart and always helping and guiding visitors. She has a vast experience in hosteling and she has traveled a lot across the continents so she knows how to treat different people from different countries. Her son, Thomas (I think 13 year old) is very innocent and sometimes present at the reception to help you. The hostel has all the necessary utensils and enough washrooms and toilets. You don't need to wait for toilets or washrooms to use. The hostel is about 20 minutes walk to the city center.

Conveniently situated, it allows relatively easy access to the city's main attractions (all of which are within a 10-minute walk), including the picturesque Old Town, bustling ports, and various cultural hotspots. It's also very close to the bus station (which is across the road), ensuring easy access to nearby locations (such as Nida) and far-away destinations. This makes the hostel an ideal base. The staff at Klaipeda Hostel also deserves special mention. The owner and manager is friendly, knowledgeable, and always willing to go the extra mile to ensure guests have a memorable stay. Her recommendations for local activities were invaluable and greatly enhanced my experience in Klaipeda. In terms of value, Klaipeda Hostel is a clear winner. It offers excellent facilities and services at a price that is hard to beat, making it a top choice for budget-conscious travellers who don't want to compromise on quality.

There is nothing bad to report.

The owner is very helpful. She advised me well to do the most of my day at the Curonian Spit by public transport. She is enthusiast and warm-welcoming. It is great to have a kitchen at every floor. No rush to prepare food. There are plenty of bathrooms and toilets, too. Just right next to the bus station. Walkable distance to points of interest and the beach.

The beds were very noisy and not so comfortable (on the top that a woman was snoring in my dorm).

Strong wifi, I also got towel, free coffee.

It was written that we could leave the bag before check-in. But I could only go in because a guest showed me the entry codes. It would have been better if they had sent it earlier on the morning of the check-in day. Although they promised to send details like bed, etc at 13:00, I got this information later only after I messaged them.

It was literally the best stay in the hostel ever. The hosts were super nice and friendly. Other guests both times - tidy, silent, had a good sense of humor and did not hesitate to say hi and smile. The place itself - was very cozy, and felt like home. Could not ask for more. Inside you can find everything you need - even the hairdryer and coffee! I loved the view of the little garden while enjoying my breakfast. The place is in at very convenient location - just by the bus station and also not very far away from the city center.

I arrived late, so self service check in was very convenient and easy. It is just at the doorstep of the bus station and impossible to miss as it has a lovely mural on the building. I only needed to stay somewhere for one night, but I would definitely use it again in the future. It is a short walk to old town which was lovely and peaceful. Everything i wanted to see was within walking distance and easy to find. Comfortable bed, clean shower rooms with heated floor, tidy kitchen area with all essentials, what else can you ask for when you pay so little. If I understand it right, it is family run business with very welcoming owners who were very helpful. I can not recommend this place enough. I don't write reviews often unless my stay exceeds my expectations, and this was one of them.
