While the hotel is not right next to any of the lifts or gondolas in Hirafu, it's less than 1km away from Family Chair, and the shuttle service is punctual and convenient. The staff are great, the rooms are adequately sized and have good amenities, the laundry was helpful, and the price was very good.
Limited dining options due to late season, only breakfast available. Not strict enough rules on behaviour. Some children behaved very rudely for several days during my stay. They were running up and down the corridoors of the fourth floor and hitting the doors to rooms of other guests and running away and hiding as if the hotel were their personal playground.

Room on the small side, but this was okay as we were out and about for most of the day. The bathroom was spacious for Japanese standards and the shower was powerful. USB charging plug points in bedroom. Sufficient storage space for ski gear and other luggage. Nice breakfast spread. Sufficient parking facilities provided by the hotel and it was just a short drive to all four slopes in the Niseko area. The hotel also offers a regular shuttle service to and from the ski slopes and town, though we didn’t use this as we drove.
No onsen. Would be nice if they could partner with neighbouring facilities to offer this. Housekeeping did not replenish the toilet rolls over the 7 nights we stayed and we had to ask the reception.

The breakfast was fantastic and the perfect way to start a day of skiing. You are welcome to enough coffee and food as you desire before hitting the slopes. Also, the menu changes from day to day so it keeps it fresh. The staff is very kind and helpful, always going above and beyond to assist you with your stay or provide helpful information about travel to other parts of Japan. Although the location is about a 20 min walk from the main base area there are many shuttles and buses available for transport. 10/10 would book again.
The washer/dryer wasn’t such a great dryer. That was probably my own fault as I may have put in too many clothes.

(1) The whole environment of Niseko was calming - few people with endless fields of crops and grand view of Mt Yotei. The Yotei suite was very spacious (43m2), clean with relatively new fixtures. Value for money. (2) The rooms had good lightings, effective layout and we liked the separated toilet & shower areas. Toileteries were provided with clean water and strong shower. Although our rooms were near the main road, we did not hear any noise. We slept well with good bedding and strong air-conditioning. (3) The staff were warm and welcoming. As some of them were Caucasians/Eurasians, they could speak good English and helped to direct us to the nearby towns.
(1) The staff were on duty only from 9am to 6pm, after which there was no one around. We felt insecured as any one could just walk into the hotel and it would be difficult if we needed some help. (2) The road facing the hotel front was paved with pebbles instead of asphalt. The nearby parking lot area had similar road surface. It was difficult to walk on. In addition, there was only 1 yellow street light in this area. We needed to switch on our mobile phone torch lights to walk back to the hotel at night although the parking area was only about 20m away.

The breakfast buffet was excellent with a great selection of foods, which offered a diverse selection of foods for its international guests, eg western continental and asian. Toast was great and you could order a selection of coffees and tea, staff were excellent always friendly and helpful overall a very pleasant atmosphere.
Music was alittle loud and could have been toned down as there was alot of RAPP playing i felt you could have had something alot softer after all its breakfast and people want to eat in peace! hopefully you will change the music to make things work. KIND REGARDS STEVE CRUICKSHANK/EX QANTAS AIRWAYS FLIGHT CREW.

We had a wonderful time during our one week ski trip staying in Always Niseko. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The breakfast buffet was wonderful, fresh ingredients, healthy and flavorful, I just cannot get enough of it :) It's easy to get to Grand Hirafu ski resort by the shuttle provided by the hotel itself, or, if you missed it, by the free shuttle provided by Niseko United, which has a stop right in front of the hotel.

We really enjoyed our stay. The rooms were clean and comfortable, and there was convenient laundry services and gear storage. Also, being able to book so much of our ski/snowboard trip through Always Niseko was incredibly helpful. We booked our bus from New Chitose Airport to Niseko and all of our gear (skis, snowboard, boots, helmets) all through their portal, and appreciated that they also helped shuttle us to and from the Welcome Center and the hotel. The breakfast at the hotel was also fantastic - big buffet with lots of different options, both traditional Japanese and Western. The location is also awesome, about a 15-30 minute walk to all of the bars and restaurants as well as the Welcome Center. Would absolutely stay here again.
The hours of the folks at the front desk could be better - there was no way (as far as we could discern) to get help in the morning and evening when we ran into an issue before/after front desk hours.

Room was a great size, modern and had an amazing view of mount Yotei! Buffet breakfast in the morning was great to fill up before hitting the slopes. Convenient shuttle regularly into town which was great for dinner, also to get to the mountain so didn’t have to carry snow gear and could return hired boards at always niseko as well. At night it was only a short 10min walk back from town. Had washing machines too so was able to do a wash before checking out.
If opened window we had smell of egg coming from the kitchen below.

Great value for money in early season. Might be too expensive for what you get in high season. Was perfect as a last minute booking. Staff is very helpful. The room is clean and storage and shuttle service are great.
Beds are not so comfortable, but good enough. Higher frequency of the shuttle will be great, and adding a stop in the lawson can also be great.

This hotel is the best deal in town. The hotel shuttle van from and to the mountain every 30 minutes or so. If you arrive at the Hirafu welcome center you can get a free direct ride to the hotel. All buses from Chitose Airpoet or Chitose JR train station arrive at this center. I wished someone made it clear before I was there. It's a little walk to town, but doable.
