As we wanted to stay in Kyoto for a whole week, we put a bit more research into booking this accommodation up front and it totally payed off. The Hotel doesn’t have a counter and check-in/out is self service. For us this was totally fine and we hardly met anybody there which makes it a really calm place. Other comments mentioned that they didn’t have enough towels for a longer stay, this was not our case, we had lots and lots of towels in different sizes right under the sink. Yes, the rooms will not be cleaned during the stay, but this is something I find unnecessary anyway for a couple of days. Our room was the one on the ground floor right next to the lounge with free water and amazing coffee from a nespresso machine. The room is so beautiful with furniture made out of real wood, indirect lighting and even the garden (not accessible) can be illuminated. The shower, toilet and sink are separated, which makes staying as a couple much easier. Location wise it’s really perfect, close to subway/bus, close to lots of sights + calm and charming by itself. We loved to stroll around the little river. If you are planning to stay in Kyoto and this accommodation is available, search no further!

Nice big and comfort room

It doesn't make sense that behind working hrs, there won't b away to get into the hotel. No one @the reception. No access to open front door and only after awhile when finally succeeded to get in ( talk w the on call support) then difficulties to open the room door ( coding). Things should b much more strait forward, faster and simple. Especially when u return tired after long travel.

Great stay in a comfortable and very clean room, with facilities that looked very new. The property is just a minute’s walk away from the train station, and near several bus stations that brought us to the places of interest nearby.

The rooms are absolutely gorgeous and very clean, comfortable beds with good bedding, location is excellent, bathrooms are fantastic, AC works perfectly

There is no reception person so if you have any issues you have to message them without speaking to anyone face to face

Really comfortable and clean nice and spacious. Great location walking distance to alot of attractions and buses and subways close by for further travel.

Clean nicely designed rooms ; quiet location convenient for subway station and conference centre

Amenities were below standard: no choice of tea; reasonable selection of coffee for Nespresso machine - but no stirrers provided for those who take sugar or milk! Also no housekeeping - over five nights it would have been good to have one change of towels and my bin emptied
