Bright, modern, comfortable.

Difficult to check in when arriving by car. I had to run in and check in whilst my husband waited outside on double yellow lines with hazard lights.on. Not ideal after a long journey.When I asked about car parking was brushed off, told “ it’s that yellow building over there.” Quite abrupt. I wanted information about car parking charges but was just fobbed off. Also I disliked having to leave a £50 deposit which I didn’t expect, not being advised about this prior to arrival. It took several days to be refunded.

The hotel was amazing, very close to the DLR and a huge shopping centre. The area had a lovely community feel. The interior and rooms of the hotel were beautiful. We ate in the rooftop restaurant, delicious food and beautiful setting, when we booked we were not prepared for the restaurant to be so loud with a resident DJ and sax player, but to be honest it added to the unique experience. Breakfast was fantastic also, lots of choice and some items made to order. The rooms were very large and extremely comfortable. The added bonus of a 12pm checkout.

We were a party of 6, 3 couples and unfortunately our rooms, despite the request were on different floors. Unfortunately, the lift & key combination would only give you access to the floor that you were staying on, which made it a nightmare to see each other, we even got locked out when using the stairs. One of our party was staying on floor 6, which the lift did not stop up either going or down, this meant that they had to use the stairs and ring one of us to let them in on another floor. The rooftop restaurant, when we booked it was quiet and serene, hence the reason we booked, we were never advised that it would be like eating in a nightclub! It really was so so loud.

Stayed here with my wife and little boy. Great location next to a great mall with plenty shops and a food court. We stayed for 9 nights so this was a great choice. Staff very friendly and willing to help. Breakfast was great too and the blonde lady at the breakfast restaurant was just a star. She checked on our son almost everyday and she was just all very friendly and professional. It's a shame i forgot her name but she's eastern european i think. We stayed in a suite but the space is a bit small but i guess that's london for you. Overall we were very please and we will return again. Oh yes the view at night is just amazing. Great rooftop restaurant too on the last floor i think.

Cleaning was not very thorough. It felt at times as if it was rushed.May be because we stayed a bit long but apart from that we noticed also a lot of random people always sitting at the reception not sure if they were guests, but some were on their laptops looking more like some students (leaving a bit of a mess behind at times) not sure who they were but throughout our stay we noticed that the lobby area was always or almost always full so no way to sit and enjoy that space. But overall, I would highly recommend.

The view of Westfield is great, and the property is generally OK.

For the price (£563 for 2 nights), it wasn't really up to standard compared to other Hilton hotels I've stayed at for less. It's more like a Hampton hotel (Hilton's budget brand). The rooms don't even have a desk and chair for working. When I asked reception about this, they said that this is the design of the hotel - the rooms only include a small round table and a sofa. It worked out OK for short periods, but it's not really suitable for working for extended periods of time. The breakfast is mediocre - English breakfast, and a few pastries and cakes. Just like a Travelodge really.

Rooms were super clean, good facilities in the room . I’d like to give a huge thank you to Khaled at The Gantry for going above and beyond during my stay. I had an issue with my phone where there was no signal, so I was relying heavily on the WiFi, which unfortunately wasn’t working on my device. Khaled did everything in his power to help resolve the problem and was patient, attentive, and genuinely caring throughout. His exceptional service really stood out and made a stressful situation so much easier. Staff like Khaled are a true asset to the hotel! The housekeeping staff were absolutely lovely and so polite. They always smiled and greeted me every time I passed by, which really stood out. It’s a refreshing change compared to other places where housekeeping can sometimes make you feel like an inconvenience. Their warmth and professionalism really added to my stay.

Signal was non existent so had to rely heavily on WiFi, which I needed for work. An AMAZING staff member called Khaled went above and beyond to help me resolve the issue of my WiFi. He did everything he could to help me as I was visibly stressed as I had lots of work to do. Hats off to him I hope his management team see this. On the last night the lovely lady in reception (with khaled) made me feel so welcomed and comfortable. I would definitely return! Also housekeeping staff were so polite and friendly and greeted me with a smile every time I passed them. My main negative comment would be the price point.

The Gantry Hotel, Stratford - Exceptional Hospitality! I recently stayed at The Gantry Hotel in Stratford, and I must say, it was a truly delightful experience. What stood out most was the exceptional hospitality of the staff. From the moment I arrived, every team member went above and beyond to ensure my stay was comfortable and memorable. Their warm greetings, genuine smiles, and eagerness to assist with any request made me feel incredibly welcome. Whether it was helping with directions, offering personalized recommendations, or simply checking in to see how my day was going, the staff’s attention to detail and care were second to none. The hotel itself is stunning, with beautifully designed interiors and a cozy yet modern atmosphere. The rooms were impeccably clean and well-equipped, offering both style and comfort. Its location in Stratford was incredibly convenient, with excellent access to transportation, shopping, and dining. But above all, it was the people at The Gantry who made the experience unforgettable. Their hospitality turned what could have been a standard hotel stay into something truly special. I can’t recommend this hotel enough and look forward to returning soon!

I had a wonderful stay at this hotel! The location is excellent, and close to public transport and a huge shopping area. The facilities are top-notch, offering everything you could need for a comfortable and enjoyable stay. The entire property is spotlessly clean, making it a very comfortable stay. The staff were friendly and attentive. Overall, this hotel exceeded my expectations, and I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a place that combines great location, modern amenities, and impeccable cleanliness. I will definitely stay here again.

We had a lovely, spacious twin room that was well decorated and very comfortable. The location in Stratford is ideal — with (for London!) affordable parking nearby and quick Underground access, it’s easy to reach central London in 20–30 minutes. Staff were friendly. We also appreciated the small extras — the water filter and ice bar in the lobby and the coffee shop in the lobby is a solid spot we like to visit even when we’re not staying at the hotel.

It’s a bit on the pricier side for us personally, so we tend to book when we catch it at a lower rate. Also, just a small thing — the lifts can get a bit busy, especially with the express lift reserved for rooftop access. Nothing major overall.

Overall, the hotel is beautiful this is my second time staying at the Gantry so I knew what expect. The beds are super comfortable, the rooms are stunning and overall it is such a clean hotel and the staff are very professional.

I didn’t like the fact that for such a beautiful hotel, the tv in the rooms are not smart tvs meaning that you can’t watch things like Netflix or YouTube as you would need an HDMI cable. Also, the whole key system with the lifts can be very frustrating as it takes you to levels that you do not stay on especially if there are multiple people on the lift, you can spend minutes just going up and down the lifts just to get to your room. I also wish there was onsite parking for those who may be driving, having to park in Westfield is extremely expensive. I just wish some of the amenities were a lot better for the price.

Breakfast was great, high quality options, with a fresh hot order corner. There was also a lot of dietary options available, for anyone with dietary restrictions. It is also served really early, so great if you are an early riser and want to enjoy your day. The Gantry is also greatly located next to the Stadtford International train station, so just a short walk, really easy to access from London City Airport.

It's certainly my own fault, but I misunderstood what Mobility Accessible meant while booking my stay, I'm used to Wheelchair accessible term instead, due to that I booked a suite that I didn't need, unfortunately the hotel was already fully booked so I couldn't change rooms to leave this room for someone who needed the adaptations. But as a side, it was good to see how much there is to support mobility impaired people, so I guess great job on that!
