This Villa is in THE absolute best location in the historic city center of Sorrento. We had a a magical week in this beautiful setting. The accommodations, are basic but you are not staying here for a room. You are staying here for the absolute beauty of the Terrace, the marina with ferry service is right below you, no need for taxis as the city center is a block away, the market is 5 minutes by foot and the train station is about a 9 minute walk. The very best restaurants are within a 1 to 2 minute walk as well. THIS IS NOT A HOTEL. Do not expect that level of service, this is a private villa and it is worth every penny. There was nothing better than coming "home " after a day of touring. The peace, serenity and beauty of the villa made this an unforgettable vacation. The air conditioning worked well, we had hot water everyday, the pool was clean and deliciously cool on the hot days of August. We would go out to dinner, stroll in town and return to the villa every evening and sit on the terrace with our wine and listen to music coming from the hotel next door, looking out over Vesuvius and watching the stars and the sea. If you need pampering and concierge, this is NOT the place for you. If you are a well traveled INDEPENDANT individual who truly wants to feel the magic of Sorrento , this is, hands down, the place you want to be. I will be returning to this villa next year. An unforgettable experience in an unforgettable location. Ciao!
Nothing that would ruin my stay! Communication could be a bit better with management, pictures on the internet need to be better updated to reflect each individual room.

The location of this property is AMAZING! It’s a short walk into the main centre of Sorrento, where there are lots of bars, restaurants and shops. To get down to the seafront you can either walk (which is around 10 mins) or get the lift down for €1.20 per person. Should you wish to grab a coffee or some food closer to the property, these are a 2 min walk away! The views from this property are to die for. The pool area is always quiet, and we always managed to get a sunbed. The pool is small, but that didn’t bother us as we only used it for a plunge and cool down :) The beds were surprisingly really comfortable! We slept very well. Joy and his wife were so accommodating and kind. They catered for all our needs, and are an asset to this property!
The rooms are quite dated, and the bathrooms could do with being updated. The shower wasn’t the cleanest, nor was the sink but still clean enough to use.

Perfect location! The view—if I could give 100 points out of 10, I absolutely would. Seagulls, the scents of the sea, and the golden leaves of autumn plane trees. Stained glass adds a touch of charm, with its leadlight design enhancing the atmosphere. High ceilings and excellent decor make the space feel even more special. There’s a small kitchenette for convenience. Breakfast is served at a nearby café, and it’s a classic sweet Italian breakfast—coffee, brioche, at cetera
However, there was a strange issue with the hot water supply just before our departure. The water ran out very quickly, as if the boiler had been completely drained. This happened late at night, so we decided not to disturb anyone. Unfortunately, the same problem persisted in the morning.

We loved being so close to the water, ferry port and city center. We enjoyed the sun deck and pool facilities.
Our room lacked privacy and the property manger was often lingering around our room which the windows looked right out onto the pool. The room was quite small and there much confusion with the gates when checking in.

The terrace was fab! The view and location and pool access was great! We had the junior suite which was connected to the huge terrace which wasn’t always busy so felt like our own. Simple takeaway pizza to watch the sunset was epic.
I think they could add some extra photos of the rooms as the ones we had seen when booking were not reflective of how the property was in reality. I did hear some other complaints about this from other guests. A suite felt like a grand word for what it was. The pool had algae on the walls and bottom so could be cleaned. The staff didn’t clear up smashed glass on the terrace we found after they finished cleaning. Terrace slippy so be careful. Need to fix a few broken sunloungers. Bin location should be moved away from pool.

The view was amazing! The 'hotel' is an old school italian villa but modernized. We loved everything about it! Two showers, two bedrooms. Both were very comfortable and large! The location is prime, two minutes to the ferries and to the town center? I mean you could not ask for a better place if you enjoy old school italian charm and want to be alone:) The kitchen was outside which was a bit disconcerting at first, but I ended up loving it! The staff were lovely and the owner was very responsive!
Not that we didn't like it but bring a converter if you are coming from another european country

The location for starters of this Villa is amazing! The views of Mount Vesuvius were quite honestly breathtaking! I stayed here for 10 nights with my mum in the 2 bedroom apartment and then my dad came out and joined us for the final 5 nights. Although, our apartment didn’t have a bedroom with a balcony as such our front door had an amazing view and so did one of the rooms. If we were having some drinks or eating at the apartment we would just leave this door open. With the patio directly below it and the pool/sunbeds. The staff here were super helpful and so very kindly help me with arrange a taxi to the airport after ours cancelled last minute. We were so appreciative of this as had no idea what to do. The staff onsite do a clean of the rooms each day nothing g major but just a tidy up which was noticeable (so thank you). They are also onsite late (potentially all evening) so if you need anything they are around. The pool isn’t huge but it was perfect for us just wanting a quick dip to cool down. If you are a keen swimmer you can head down to one of the jetty’s either via stairs or lift which is approx. 5 mins walk away. If you are looking to book this property I would just drop the owners a message to clarify which apartment pictures they are. They have all the photos on Booking.com so if unsure just ask! The location to the main piazza and all the lovely Sorrento streets is within walking distance and I don’t think you would get a villa with this view in such close proximity! We’ve already looked at arranging a return visit next year and we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and really did relax and jump off normal life while here!
This isn’t so much a dislike but just a heads up to others: this is clearly a very old and historic villa meaning that some of the windows might let in a draft etc. this didn’t bother us at all and was still totally secure!! I would have loved to of known more about the history of the villa. It would be nice to have an about the property and its history over the years in the apartments! It’s so lovely and I’m sure its history is something that should be shared because it’s so beautiful.

The location was perfect. It’s a 3 minute walk to Piazza Tasso square and it’s so central. The views were immaculate and the apartment itself was spacious and quite periodical. The apartment felt quite safe and secure with outside gates stopping people from walking up to the building and a gate on the pool area. Very central location.
Some areas as you walked to the apartment seemed unfinished. With boxes / beds / sofas in the hallways for example. Again, this didn’t bother us as the actual apartment was lovely!

The property was right on the water so the view was amazing. It was so nice just to lounge on the terrace and watch the amazing sun rise and sunsets along the Sorrento Coast. We also enjoyed the proximity to the local shopping areas and restaurants so it was nice to come back to the property and relax before going back out again.
The only thing we didn’t like is that the property is across from this Restaurant area so it can be noisy sometimes with the music and such but in all fairness we usually go to bed early so its really not a horrible thing. The view of the water and the scenery of the coastline made up for it. We did have an issue with the toilet which we told the person managing the property. It really didn’t get fixed but it was doable because we were leaving the next day.

The views are what makes this place what it is. I'm not sure you're getting much better anywhere else in Sorrento, it is beautiful. Great location as well, right over the pier where the ferries operate and an easy walk into the centre of Sorrento. The bed is very comfortable.
Our room was small which is the usual in Italy. Not an issue as such, however the lack of floor space did make it a little awkward to move around the room particularly with 2 large cases. Again though, this wasn't seen as an issue and we got by with it.
