Loved the central location. The hotel is few minutes walk from Tasso square, which is the main square in town. Beautiful little garden at the back. Staff was nice and helpful. We’ve received a voucher for a glass of Prosecco each on arrival, which was a nice touch. They have a lovely roof top bar where you can see beautiful view of Sorento and the sea. Hotel is within close proximity to the train station (5 min walk). Rooms very clean and spacious.

No kettle in the room, just a coffee machine, which is great if you’re a coffee person, not that great for tea drinkers. In the bathroom, only one hook for towels. There is a need for few more hooks on the back of the bathroom door for an instance. Hotel located close to busy road, so make sure you take earplugs. Food was lukewarm i.e during breakfast. Hotiday is NOT the name of the hotel, they just act as a booking partner, which was a bit confusing/ the name of the hotel is actually Cesare Augusto. Hotiday should be more clear about this when advertising rooms.

Warmly recommend! Rich and tasty breakfast, friendly service, superb location close to the main piazza and the train station only a few minutes walk away, clean. The front desk personnel were very friendly, proactively giving advice about restaurants and places to go. Pool towels were included which was great!

The only thing that annoyed us was that the pool closes at 6pm which is exactly the time when you come back from your day adventures and would like to chill for a while by the pool before heading to the dinner. Just like us, several other guests were rushing to the pool at 5.50pm just to be asked to leave 10 minutes later.

Overall great holiday. Excellent location, fantastic breakfast, large room.

The air conditioning wasn’t working properly in our room. We thought maybe this was normal but other guests told us they had properly working air conditioning . We asked to have it fixed and they came twice. It still wasn’t working efficiently, yet they contested and said it was fine. They offered a fan which was very helpful, but as guests staying for seven nights, we were disappointed with their attitude on this point. This hotel is great overall but would recommend you have issues fixed right away if they occur.

I loved this place. Great location near train/bus terminal. Comfortable room with balcony. Great Breakfast Buffet. Very courteous and nice staffs.

Only problem is the name of the property. It was "Cesare Augusto" not "HOTIDAY Hotel Sorrento". I thought my cab driver dropped me of at the wrong hotel at first.

A Wonderful Stay at This Hotel! I had a fantastic experience at this hotel! From the moment I arrived, the large reception area and the warm welcome from the friendly, helpful, and kind receptionists made me feel at home. The buffet was impressive, offering a wide variety of delicious food, fresh fruits, and tempting sweets. The rooms were spacious, comfortable, and well-maintained, ensuring a relaxing stay. The hotel’s large garden was beautifully kept, and everything—both inside and outside—was exceptionally clean. Its location is also perfect, just a 5-minute walk from the train and bus station and very close to the main square. Plus, there are plenty of excellent restaurants nearby to explore. Overall, a great experience—I highly recommend. Thank you 😊

We recently stayed here for 4 nights. Location is amazing as it's a 5 minute walk to the town center and a 15 minute walk to the harbor. We took two excursions from MBS Tours to Capri & Amalfi coast and they were based out of the harbor (highly recommend). The hotel had a complimentary breakfast which was great for getting the day started. Front desk people were really helpful. This hotel offers great value and would highly recommend.

The hotel itself, Grand Hotel Cesare Augusto was exceptional, super clean and staffs are very accommodating. The room is big enough for a family of 3. They have a coffee maker and coffee included. Also shampoo and other toiletries. The fact that they have a private parking is a big plus! They have a welcome drink as well. And the breakfast included is marvelous! I wished i can go back again to such a beautiful place. Highly recommended!

The hotel is in an excellent location, near the Piazza Tasso. The hotel was very quiet with not many guests when we stayed but we were this early May. The breakfast buffet had all you need for a breakfast with a good selection of hot/cold food. The pool on the roof had amazing views over Sorrento and the bay of Naples.

Excellent location to train station and Piazza Tasso. A few minute's walk from the hotel to each... Very safe area. Lovely friendly and helpful staff in every part of the hotel. Special mention to Seby in reception who organised our day trip and also the lovely lady on housekeeping who cleaned our room daily.. Very good shower, plenty of towels comfortable room. Our room was on the 3rd floor facing the road. The traffic noise did not disturb us. We had good night's sleep throughout our stay... Loved breakfasts, self service with a great variety of lovely food. I would have no hesitation in recommending this hotel for an enjoyable visit to Sorrento.

Nothing not to like

Decent facilities including roof top pool. A good breakfast, lots of sweet pastries and fresh fruit. The Bar man at the pool was great!

The décor was a little dated...but certainly liveable
