We were visiting Sorrento to celebrate our 25th wedding anniversary and thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Antica Dimora Magi. This is a beautiful boutique hotel with only 4 rooms, perfectly located in the centre of Sorrento on one of the quaint old streets. The historic building has been beautifully restored with a modern twist. Our room was spacious and the bed was one of the most comfortable I've ever slept in. Lovely bathroom with plenty of storage. Breakfast was served in the garden by the delightful Emma every morning and the choice was excellent. What really sets this hotel apart from others is the fantastic staff. Anna Bella, Rosanna and Emma were so welcoming and couldn't do enough for us. To celebrate our anniversary, they left a bottle of fizz and a delicious cake in our room, which was such a lovely gesture. Thank you for making our stay so special. We hope to come back soon x

My friend and I had the most wonderful time at Antica Dimora Magi. We chose this hotel because of its wonderful location and amenities, which were exactly as pictured if not more beautiful in person. We were impressed and overwhelmed by the hospitality. From the beginning of our reservation both Roberta and Anna Bella reached out over WhatsApp to introduce themselves and provide helpful advice and suggestions for our trip across the Amalfi, they looked to coordinate a car service, recommend wonderful restaurants; their communication was reliable and incredibly helpful. Our arrival to the hotel was smooth, exactly as described, Roberta gave us a warm welcome and took care of everything upon entrance. She is extremely kind and approachable; I truly felt she had the goal of ensuring we had a spectacular time. The rooms are beautiful, they’re cool with AC on both levels, and have quality amenities. It was a 6 min walk to Peter’s Beach and accessible to some of the best restaurants within Sorrento. The next day we had breakfast at the hotel. Giusy had the welcomed us with open arms and presented us with a beautiful display of her home made pastries, quiches, meats, cheeses, and daily specials she was eager to prepare for us (This included her omelette of the day, fried eggs, crepes, waffles, etc). I highly recommend this hotel for a number of reasons: 1. It is as advertised if not better (if you’re reading this, I am too that person who reads through 100 reviews before booking). 2. The location proved to be extremely convenient, we were a 6 minute walk from the beach, a 15 min walk from the bus stop, 10 min from the centre, had an assortment of authentic restaurants/shops surrounding us 3. Hospitality was the real stand out, would certainly come back because of the experience with Roberta/Giusy/Anna Bella. We were constantly taken care of. This a level of service I have not yet experienced with any hotel.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Magi House in Sorrento, and I can confidently say it was an exceptional experience from start to finish. This charming, small hotel surpassed all my expectations, thanks in large part to the outstanding service provided by the staff. From the moment I arrived, I was greeted with warmth and genuine hospitality. The front desk team went above and beyond to ensure I felt welcome, offering helpful tips about the local area and making sure every detail of my stay was perfect. Their knowledge and enthusiasm for Sorrento made me feel like I was staying with friends rather than at a hotel. The room was spotless, comfortable, and well-appointed, with thoughtful touches that made the stay even more enjoyable. What truly sets Magi House apart, however, is the personal attention and care the staff provide. They were always on hand to assist with any request, no matter how small, and did so with a smile. Whether it was arranging transportation, recommending the best local restaurants, or simply asking how my day was, their dedication to guest satisfaction was evident in every interaction. The breakfast each morning was another highlight—delicious, fresh, and served with the same level of attentiveness that characterised my entire stay (the omelettes were delicious). In a town known for its beauty and charm, Magi House stands out as a gem where service truly shines. I cannot recommend it highly enough for anyone visiting Sorrento. You are perfectly situated within walking distance of several great shops and restaurants and just five minutes from the beach/marina.

Location was super, right in the centre of everything with no night time noises. Staff were outstanding so friendly & helpful. Room was immaculately clean with a lovely view of the courtyard and jacuzzi. Room had mini kitchen area with fridge, freezer, microwave, kettle, oven & sink which is useful & mini market few min walk away. Large TV for a movie. We used the jacuzzi twice daily and it was a lovely added extra. On arrival there was a bottle of wine left in our room with some treats & a voucher for 10% off Roberta's restaurant, we highly recommend the restaurant also. Breakfast was lovely with a lovely choice of all freshly baked items, bacon, beans, fresh omlettes, mini quiche, crepes & good coffee. Service was wonderful, such a warm smile every morning and a few words on our plans for the day. Our departure was before breakfast and they went out of their way to ensure we had breakfast before departure. An array of items were delivered to our room the night beforehand including our favourite brioche :-) well done on the finer details I really gave added luxury to our stay! We would absolutely stay here again :-)

I recently had the pleasure of staying at a stunning boutique hotel in Sorrento, and it was nothing short of magical. Nestled in the heart of the city, this hidden gem offered an oasis of tranquility with its beautiful private garden. The highlight? A luxurious hot tub that became our favorite spot to unwind after a day of exploring. Each morning, we were greeted with an outstanding breakfast spread that was beyond anything I’ve experienced before. Fresh pastries, local delicacies, and the star of the show: their made-to-order omelette section. The chef’s skill and attention to detail were remarkable, with each omelette perfectly crafted to our taste, using the freshest ingredients. The combination of the serene garden, indulgent hot tub, and that unforgettable breakfast made our stay truly exceptional. I can’t recommend this boutique hotel enough for anyone looking for an intimate and unique Sorrento experience!

Comfy beds, very modern and beautiful rooms, location is right in the centre and great breakfast! Have to applaud the service from Anna Bella, Roberta, Guisy + (cleaning lady). They all provided us with such lovely hospitality and made sure we were taken care off! We couldn't make breakfast on time for one of the mornings & due to outdoor weather conditions they offered us breakfast via room service! (also got a welcome Prosecco bottle in our room upon arrival ;)) The rooms are beautiful and the whole accomodation has a boutique atmosphere feel with an antique decor. (Very clean too!) Out of all the places I searched in Sorrento, this one stood out to me the most, mainly because of how great the value was for such a stunning interior/exterior. My friends and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay here and would definitely visit again the next time we're here :)

If I could rate this place 11/10 I would. The gorgeous building, the room, the breakfast and the staff were exceptional. Roberta, Giusy, and Anna Bella were truly amazing and could not be more friendly, fun and helpful. They made our stay in this hotel truly wonderful. Terrace out the back is a perfect sun trap spot with a glass of vino after a daytrip or exploring Sorrento. There is nothing we could say we didn't like about this property and we will definitely be returning again in the near future. The bottle of fizz and the gelato from the owners shop were also lovely surprise treats and super tasty! A definite must stay if your are visiting Sorrento !!!

The hotel was absolutely beautiful, very unique and modern! My mum and I had an amazing time exploring Sorrento, the hotel is nicely positioned near the port, main attractions, and Sorrento center. The highlight of our stay was the staff of the hotel though - they were so helpful and attentive, we have never experienced such great care before! They made sure to make our stay unforgettable with little details. The breakfasts prepared by Guisy were always outstanding, and Anna Bella and Roberta have gone above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed. Cannot recommend Antica Dimora Magi enough!!

Everything about our honeymoon at the Magi House was wonderful! We really appreciated the diligent check-ins from the staff - we’ve never been to Sorrento before and they made sure to take care of us. They booked our private transfer from the airport and made all of our restaurant reservations weeks before our stay. The staff, Giusy, Anna Bell, and Roberta exceeded our expectations. We can’t say enough to express our appreciation for them! The room was clean and spacious, the breakfast was amazing, and the location of the hotel is right in the center of town, making it so easy to get around.

Elegance and Comfort: The rooms are tastefully decorated, blending modern aesthetics with comfort. The beds were heavenly, and the minimalist design created a serene ambiance. Plus, the hallways were blissfully quiet—no disturbances during the night. Impeccable Service: The staff at Antica Dimora Magi went above and beyond. They were attentive, helpful, and genuinely cared about making our stay memorable. Amazing warm hospitality! Breakfast was exceptional with Giusy who takes care of your every need. Her omelette daily specials are not to missed. She is welcoming, kind and a true professional. Breakfast pancakes, balloons and a banner in my room, she really did make my so birthday special. Roberta and Anna Bella also were amazing with arranging chilled prosecco and cookies in our room on arrival. The restaurant recommendations and reservations were invaluable and my birthday dinner was fabulous. We went there for a second time for drinks, Hotel Bellevue Syrene; stunning. In summary, the Antica Dimora Magi is a boutique haven that combines style, comfort, and convenience. Whether you’re a solo traveler, a couple, or a family, this hotel is a top-notch choice.
