The hostel is old and basic, but it had all the essentials. The room was clean, the bed was comfortable, and the shower was hot. The host kept apologizing for how simple the accommodation was, but honestly, it was a very comfortable stay. Close to restaurants and bars, it was easy to grab a quick coffee before setting off in the morning. Host was very kind and welcoming.

I was hiking the Via Degli Dei and this accommodation is a little far off the trail. Not a complaint, just something to note.

The worker who tended to me was quite accommodating. He speaks English clearly if you are not yet proficient in Italian. The hotel is next to what looks like a gas station. There is a food market within 100 meters. It is also a short walk from the stop on the train line from Bologna. It is a good first stop if you’re hiking “the path of the god’s”. It’s about 20-25 kms from the start.

Mind you that I stayed there In January and I imagine the other seasons are a different story, but it was a place that seemed to lack much light. I did notice a balcony that would be a big asset in the summer. My room was supposedly a bargain but I guess coming from the Midwest of my country, everything in this area seems high priced to me anyway. You California people would probably say it’s great in price.

Good location, friendly and welcoming owner and good price-quality. Since there were no other guests I had the shared room by myself which was excellent. Don’t know if it would be the same sharing the room with 3…..

All was fine only the bathroom could have an update. Especially when there are more guests just a shower would be a lot more convenient and cleaner then a shower in a bathtub.

It's better than what is mentioned on Booking. Comments were accurate. Andrea was absolutely nice. Had a 3 person bedroom for myself.

Not much, some people a bit noisy, but they had a baby so it's expected, I still slept perfectly.

The host Andrea was very helpful and accommodating. The bed was very comfortable and everything was very convenient. This was my first stop on the Via degli Dei. I think it was just the right distance from the trail.

Great location, wonderful staff, comfortable rooms, very quiet and enjoyable. The owner went out of his way to help me with my travel the next day and it really meant a lot.

The only two concerns I might have is that the kitchen is only a fridge and microwave, which was fine for me, and I didn’t find any lockers, but I also wasn’t worried about things being stolen.

The host is helpful, flexible, organized and respectful. Room is spacious, bright, clean and well equipped. There is a sink, seats, a table and a closet. A refrigerator and a microwave are in the hallway. It is few min walking distance to the train station. Sheets are clean and in high quality. Bathroom was always clean. For a hostel everything was amazing!!

This is a great place to stay. Very quiet, peaceful and comfortable. Out of big city. It has all you need, there are restaurants around. I want to go back there.

Transport to get there is not as good as it should be.
