The hotel was exceptionally lovely. The setting and gardens were just beautiful. We had a room with a balcony and had a view of the Temples. Breakfast was continental with an array of choices. The Restaurant served lovely food on the outside patio which was amazing overlooking the view at night. Pity they don’t offer a simple lunch such as a panini only restaurant menu which was lovely but sometimes a roll and a drink by their spa/pool would be nice. They did however organise some bread which sufficed and a spritz which we thoroughly enjoyed

First night our shower leaked all over the bathroom floor. However the staff were up with a mop and bucket within minutes of us calling. We tilted the shower head further back which helped the situation.

A stunning location with a breathtaking view of the ancient Acropolis makes this stay truly special. The garden is beautiful—lush, carefully maintained, and full of charm. The villa itself is gorgeous, well-kept, and full of character. Everything radiates peace, beauty, and authentic charm—an ideal place to relax and enjoy. Highly recommended! The staff, unfortunately, felt rather stiff and uninspired, which didn’t quite match the warm and inviting atmosphere of the villa itself. Breakfast was very modest—not necessarily a problem, as it had an authentic touch—but by 9:30 most of the items were already gone, even though breakfast is served until 10. The food that was available was tasty, but overall, the value didn’t quite match the experience. A beautiful setting, but some improvements are needed to truly live up to its potential.

The grounds of the hotel are amazing! The fruit and olive trees and the flowers evoke a feeling of an Italian villa from a bygone era. The bar and restaurant are in the same building as an old watchtower and is very picturesque. We had breakfast at the restaurant and it was a wonderful spread with cheerful wait staff.

We had lunch and dinner at the restaurant. It had a very stuffy atmosphere with a somewhat judgy waiter who wasn't pleased that we wanted a lighter meal without indulging in 4 full courses. There was also no vegetarian option except for one dish in the whole entire menu. For a place that prides itself as a gastronomical destination, this was quite strange. The overall atmosphere of the hotel seems to suggest that they cater to an older clientele who enjoy outdated pomposity.

Lovely hotel in historic building in peaceful setting away from the centre of town with spectacular views across the Valley of the Temples. Beautiful courtyard greets you, lovely for evening drinks, dinner on the garden terrace overlooking the valley and the illuminated temples very special. Food interesting and tasty menu, service efficient and friendly. Breakfast extensive, served in a bright orangery type space. Our 'superior'room was spacious, small windows so quite dark but room would have brewed up had they been bigger - bed was very comfortable, good bathroom with large walk in shower. A beach is a 10 - 12 minute walk away (you can drive and park there), not sophisticated but pleasant enough, with loos on site. We drove into Agrigento for dinner a couple of nights (10 - 12 minutes), Pititto Ristorante excellent. Reception organised a tour of the Valley of the Temples for us, the guide was incredibly knowledgeable and interesting. An excellent 5 days.

It was all good, air conditioning could have been better in our room.

The beautiful decor, very Sicilian and comfortable. Wonderful balcony with views. The artistry in house and garden. The gardens are gorgeous with lots of seating in secluded areas. The best breakfast spread in a spacious roo m with sea views. Easy access to the Valley of the Temples which can be seen from the Baglio. Charming helpful staff who want to please. Delightful dinner with vegetarian choices. Perfect

The building and gardens were beautiful and the location suited us perfectly as we were visiting the nearby temples. The view from our room over the valley and to the temples was gorgeous. The hotel serves dinner which was also very convenient for us and the staff were friendly and helpful.

The atmosphere at dinner was rather old fashioned and the food not particularly good value. Our room had a strong artificial smell when we arrived, possibly of some kind of cleaning products.

We had a room with a patio and a view on the valle dei templi, and the view was indeed wonderful. The room is very comfy with beautiful furniture. Staff is very kind and helpful. We had dinner one evening at the accademia del buon gusto and it was a very pleasant experience.

The breakfast does not quite meet the standards of such an hotel. Nothing really unpleasant (the staff was very kind and efficient), but there is nothing in their breakfast that is worthy of a 4* hotel. The products looked cheap overall.

Excellent countryside location with spectacular views on the temples & Agrigento. Pleasant estate with nice, relaxing gardens, where also dinner is served. Duty manager is a kind lady who volunteered to explain the history of the estate and give a small tour.

Rather limited breakfast choices. For this class of hotel, you would have expected more choices freshly squeezed juices and fresh fruit. No swimming pool. Just a small jacuzzi that does not seem to appeal to anyone. Rooms rather small, but comfortable.

Beautiful courtyard and gardens. If you expect to have time to sit around, this is a great place to stay. There is a view of ruins at a distance from garden. Good dinner, breakfast was fine - extensive spread, a bit better than other places we stayed but nothing prepared on demand. Room was simple but clean, nice shower. Very quiet although could have courtyard noise if hotel were more full.

The rooms were simply furnished, nothing fancy.
