We were extremely impressed with Hotel Musa from the moment we stepped on the property. The parking attendant warmly greeted us and told us to proceed to the reception area for check in. He took care of our luggage and car. As you walk down the steps and into the lobby of this new luxury modern boutique 12 room hotel, you can see all the way through to a view of Lake Como. We checked in and another staff person walked us to our room, where our bags were already waiting, and he explained all the technical amenities the room offered and let us know when meals were served and where things were on the property. The pool area is gorgeous with a pool house bathroom and sauna. The pool view overlooks Lake Como and has a very cool classic old boat turned into a bar for cocktails and appetizers. Don't miss the 5 course tasting option with wine paring! It was over the top. Great location with ferry pick up to other towns on the lake right next to the property. The staff is a group of young professionals who are eager to please and make sure your stay is relaxing. Highly recommend Hotel Muso!

Fantastic setting with one of the best views to the mountain on lago di Como in my opinion. Away from the busy touristic spots and close to some small local communities. Also very close to Tremezzo and villa Carlotta. Modern rooms and facilities, impeccably clean. Staff was great and always available to accommodate any request - shout out to Simona and Chrissy :-) and to Vladimir and Emanuel at the restaurant. Great to have an outdoor gym available too.

For a 5-star hotel at such a price tag some details were still missing. The music was loud and off at certain times, which was corrected at request. The mini bar didn’t have any beverages or snacks. The TV had an odd background functionality that meant we could only turn it off by unplugging it. Breakfast should be included and can be improved (granola and muesli are not the same thing / soy sauce is not a salad dressing). Again, these are small things that I am sure will come with time and feedback. I definitely still recommend.

We stayed here as a part of our honeymoon trip around Europe. The staff are extremely polite and very helpful. It was the little things they would do for us and that this hotel has to offer that made our stay even more special. The hotel is new and very modern and we love the design. We only had breakfast in the hotel and room service once as we went our to explore other places and preferred eating our for dinner. Breakfast was good and everything was freshly made. We also did a private boat trip with our dog which was really nice as well. The room views are just stunning.

The location is great as its peaceful and quiet. However that also means that you need a car to see other places as the public transport is not the best. There is a private and spacious car par in the hotel so that definitely made our trips back and forth easier but if we go back to Lake Como we would definitely look for something closer to towns where we can just walk out and explore instead of driving all the time.

Everything was impeccable. I was warmly greeted by the reception who asked for my passport and guided me to a seat my the water where they brought out refreshments while they completed the check in process. The room was modest but had plenty enough space for what I needed. Most of all the staff all wanted to be there and were to tier. Every day I would go for lunch at the hotel bar and every night I would have drinks at the bar where I got to know more about the staff, having friendly conversations with them. I will without a doubt be staying here again next year.

Food was exceptional, led by high quality and creative chefs, every meal exceeded expectations (especially the tasting menu for dinner). Staff friendly throughout and always attentive and happy to help. Bar was lovely, some great cocktails to try which came accompanied by some lovely nibbles. View, no matter were you were in the hotel was perfect.

I can say very little negative about this place, maybe only one thing is just make it clearer that it is quite difficult to travel around. Busses are inconsistent with timings and private hire cars can get expensive. Ferry from just outside the hotel though is a good option, but only a few stop at musa during the day.

A beautiful boutique hotel in an amazing location. Very attentive friendly staff. We found all the food at the hotel to be exceptional, from the breakfast, to the bar snacks and the restaurant. Our meal at Roteo was one to remember and was Michelin Star level and I’m sure this recognition is not far away for the Chef.

For a boutique hotel of this caliber I think including/adding breakfast in the room price would be a nice touch.

This property is exceptional. The views are breathtaking and the staff is wonderful. Our bed was the most comfortable I think we have ever had in any hotel. Damiano and Eduardo in the bar are amazing cocktail “artists”. Truly. The restaurant is elegant and stylish with just the most wonderful food and the menu in the bar is more casual but equally satisfying. We really loved this hotel. Hats off to the Gray Family for their vision and exquisite taste and also to the staff for their friendliness and professionalism overall.

The only glitch of our stay was with the staff at the reception desk. We tried to book a table one evening in the hotel and were told that there was no room for us to eat due to an overbooking event. We felt that the woman running the front desk could have handled the situation a bit better. Having said this, she certainly was not a reflection of the majority of the staff. They are truly wonderful and and try very hard to make your stay outstanding.

Beautiful hotel in the perfect location. Lovely pool and bar area, with a view of Lake Como. Hotel is all very new and they’ve thought about everything a guest would want with the amenities. Staff were all amazing and very helpful, would definitely recommend the boat ride the hotel organise for you!

The only thing I can think of was that everything was quite expensive so if you’re eating and drinking in the hotel you’ll end up spending quite a lot!

The staff. Everyone was so helpful, especially the front desk and the porters. They give you confidence in everything they are doing and they worked well together as a team too. The quality of the room was exceptional too.

Cost of airport transfer was very high - the car and driver were excellent but given they paired am arrival with our departure (which meant we were delayed ten minutes) it seemed unreasonably high. I have heard from friends that you typically pay for both directions of the taxi's journey in this region, so if that's the reason for the cost then the model is a bit cheeky. Regardless, the cost of airport transfers was very high (but also a very comfortable vehicle and attentive driver).

What a brilliant time I had at Musa. A small boutique hotel on right on the shore of Lake Como, this stay really couldn't have been bettered. The two young 20-something business partners who have started this really have established something quite extraordinary. Eschewing the usual "Grand Hotel" style which most luxurious hoteliers in Como aim for, Musa is a complete breath of modernist fresh air. The staff really are excellently trained, increadly friendly, charming and helpful. The pool area with views of the lake is delightful. And then of course you come to the restaurant which is, I would imagine, not far off of receiving its Michelin star. It'll satisfy any gourmand's high taste and the courses are served with real verve and passion. In every way Musa surpassed my expectations. I loved this hotel and can't wait to return.
