The views were stunning. the staff were very friendly and helpful. the hotel had very good facilities. we were on the lake and it was possible to hire a boat.

it was expensive. For example breakfast was included but this was for a buffet and if you wanted eggs Benedict it was an additional cost of €15. parking was €20 a night extra.

The room we stayed in was spacious, very comfortable and the view was spectacular. The staff were very friendly and extremely helpful - they went above and beyond. Having a separate children and adults pool made the adults pool much more relaxing! The beach area had loads of deck chairs and umbrellas, so there was never a lack of space, and swimming in the lake was amazing. The breakfast buffet was also lovely with a wide variety and high quality of food available. The resort itself is also covered in beautiful plants so walking round was really pleasant.

We found the food and ambience of ‘La Veranda’ restaurant underwhelming and overpriced. We also felt that the other restaurants were a bit expensive but the quality of food was good. It is a bit of a walk to other restaurants, or the local town, outside of the resort but the walk is pleasant! It wasn’t an issue for us but the walk from the beach back to the room was quite steep and those with mobility issues might struggle. There are lifts but you’d have to take multiple lifts and it won’t take you all the way in any event.

This place is out of this world. My parents and partner stayed here for a week and had the holiday of a lifetime. The location is 10/10 and the view from our apartment took our breath away every morning. The staff couldn’t do enough for you either - so friendly, attentive and helpful. The food is also incredible and there’s a lot of choice each evening. In the instance you’re looking for something more affordable the gorgeous town of Porlezza is a 20 minute walk away - which I highly recommend. During our stay my Mum turned 70 and my partner turned 30, they were both surprised with balloons, cake and bubbles which had been left for them to enjoy by the hotel. 10/10 worth a visit!

After a few days on Lake Como and a last minute change of plans for our next stop we landed up at Parco San Marco. It was a wonderful, serendipitous, beautiful few days on Lake Lugano. Arguably more beautiful, without all the tourist craziness of Como. The staff made our family feel at home and our kids not want to leave. The water sports team were the highlight of our trip for our kids. Waterskiing across the border of Italy and Switzerland will be a life memory for my son.

Aircons not working. Apparently too cool for them to kick into action. But would have been nice for us to make that decision.

The location, service, amenities (e.g., pools, family spa, tennis and basketball courts, bikes--FYI, the tennies and bikes are an extra fee), food, kids club, rooms, etc. were outstanding! My partner loved the beach (where we could also pay extra to rent pedalos or stand up paddles). Our kid loved the scavenger hunt to explore the facilities upon arrival (and win a prize). ;-)

The sheets seemed to be too small for the beds. So by morning, we were often touching the bare mattress in some places. I think they need bigger sheets and/or mattress covers. Some of the servers/staff were really going the extra mile more than others. So, I wish it was easier to tip them (e.g., in the individual bills/when paying by credit card).

My partner and I had a fantastic stay at Parco San Marco. The resort is beautifully located between the lake and the mountains, offering stunning views and a peaceful atmosphere. Our room was comfortable and well-equipped, with a lovely view of Lake Lugano. We enjoyed a relaxing spa treatment and a paddle on the lake, both of which were highlights of our trip. The food at the resort’s restaurants was delicious, and the staff were friendly and attentive. Overall, it was a perfect spot for a romantic escape, and we’re looking forward to returning in the future!

The staff are what makes this resort, they were all outstanding, from reception to housekeeping. The kids loved the free ice creams and the fun pool and lake area were perfect for the family.

While the food was very good we did find the options limited at times, especially as the beach restaurant and pizzeria were not open in the evenings. Our children are teenagers so I found it strange that they were not allowed in certain restaurants, which limited us some more.

The whole concept - the hotel layout was clever. It is a large hotel but it never felt it. The staff were all wonderful and the service was excellent. We had a bad a/c unit and first night but Reception moved us straight away and could not have been kinder. We ate three times in the family restaurant with a nightly changing menu which was always delicious and the breakfasts are amazing. the adults only pool is wonderful too.

Really lovely family resort. Lovely family feel, staff were all fantastic and super helpful. The room was comfortable and clean with a wonderful view of the lake. Food is good, the Mediterranean Grill and Beach restaurant were very good. Swimming pool was where we spent most of our time which our son loved, but we also enjoyed swimming in the lake and hiring boats. Will definitely come back!!!

Nothing major, we had a great holiday!

On the lake with great views! Great restaurants, pools and activities. Kids said it was their favorite place we’ve ever stayed in.

A tiny but far from train station so not the best for seeing other places but great if you just want to relax and enjoy your stay without leaving much.
