From the moment the gates opened at the property, we felt like we had been transported to an amazing,secret garden full of gorgeous areas to sit and chill and a breakfast area that was so beautifully presented, we couldn’t wait to put it to the test the next morning. The communal roof terrace was incredible, with views over the sea and to Polignano as well. Our room was spectacular. The decor was so well thought out and every amenity you could hope for was provided. We were also offered free beach shoes so that we could get in to the sea over the rocks. Right opposite the door to our room was another door, which when opened, we found ourselves directly on the flat rocks with access to the sea…..bliss. It was only a 5 min drive in to Polignano where we parked in a car park with ease and explored this beautiful town. Breakfast next morning was delicious. There were loads of choices. Fresh yoghurts and fruit, meats, cheeses, pastries, breads and delicious coffee. The staff are brilliant. So helpful and so friendly. We would highly recommend this slice of paradise if you are visiting in the area 10 out of 10

Everything was Amazing

We loved having access to bikes. We biked to dinner every day. It was a slight incline on the 15-minute bike ride into town, but it made the post-dinner ride downhill very enjoyable! We also enjoyed the terrace, which was a great place to read and enjoy the views and ocean breeze. The breakfast spread provided plenty of delicious options and the fresh squeezed orange juice was excellent! The staff was available, attentive, and provided great recommendations.

The air conditioner wasn't working particularly well during our stay. The windows didn't provide much breeze and there weren't any windows with a view. Some nights we had to sleep with our door wide open, just to cool off.

This was a gorgeous property and the photos are a very good reflection. The views from the upper terrace are stunning. We really enjoyed spending evenings there with a glass of wine watching the lights twinkle on the Adriatic. The staff was warm, friendly and very helpful with making plans. The breakfast was delicious with fruits, veggies, meats, cheeses, pastries and eggs to order. The marina is a very short walk away which was very convenient for our boat ride. This was a lovely place to stay!

The only thing that was tough was the walk to town. Once we figured out how to call the small tuk tuk taxi on whatsapp, it was no longer a problem.

We really liked our room (Selene), it was compact but perfect for us. The breakfast was excellent, staff was friendly and helpful. The property was beautifully maintained and the rooftop terrace was really nice. Parking was easy and safe inside the property gate.

The room had two minibars which were quite noisy. The beach is a public beach, although the property has sunloungers and umbrellas, but by no means is it a private beach area.

This is a lovely boutique bed and breakfast right on the seafront between San Vito and polignano a mare. It has been recently developed and the rooms, despite having a subterranean air due to lack of windows, still feel airy as the lighting is excellent. Breakfast is taken in the pretty garden and there is a wide variety of fruits and local produce, pastries, cereals and hot dishes on offer. The sea views from the rooftop terrace are glorious and available to all. Only breakfast is available in the hotel but the restaurants of polignano di mare are a pleasant half an hour walk away and there are bars in San Vito, a short walk in the opposite direction.

The sea view suite was neither! the presence of the sofa in an Italian hotel room appears to immediately confer suite status 😂 and the sea was only visible through 3 tiny portholes in the wall which were concealed behind movable wooden fishes. We felt this was disingenuous to put it politely so it's probably not worth paying extra for this room. The wardrobe is a rail. The bathroom was cramped with little storage space and a large shower with disco lighting and complicated controls. The overhead rainforest shower in particular sent out Jets in random directions which made it difficult to keep your face dry if required. It would also have been nice to have hair conditioner and body lotion provided.

The staff at Marsento Echo di Puglia were exceptional. They were amazing, helping us with tuk tuk transfers into the old city and restaurant booking suggestions and reservations. Even organised access to the best tables! Breakfast was fabulous and fresh in an unbeatable location. Truly made our trip to Puglia. Thank you :-)

Not a thing!

Lovely hotel with the most welcoming staff who really went above and beyond. We were offered a welcome drink on arrival, and the hospitality just continued. The owner even brought us lunch and a glass of wine one of the days when we were relaxing on the roof terrace! The roof terrace was an amazing amenity. The room was well furnished and the whole hotel felt stylish and relaxed. Breakfast in the garden was lovely. There are bikes to use for free to cycle into town (10 minute cycle), otherwise the location is a 35 minute walk from Polignano a Mare. There is free parking within the gates of the property.

It wasn't an issue because we were told in advance, but we had to check in at the other 'sister' hotel location, before following one of the staff in the car to this location. Again, it wasn't a problem because they were clear in advance, but any drinks you have at this property have to be paid for at the end of your stay by cash. It doesn't have a manned bar / restaurant as it is a small, family run property, but if you would like to order a drink you can just message!

Lovely property! Absolutely beautiful. The breakfast was amazing and the table setting transported us to a gracious time of elegance, even on the beach. Staff was great. Location was wonderful.

The step to bed area and particularly, the small step down to the bathroom. The step to and from the bed area was obvious and a railing was nearby. The small step down to the bath area was unexpected, particularly due to the pattern of the floor tile. It was a problem. I suggest artistic signage.

Amazing place with delicate and charming decoration. The terrace on the sea is incredibly beautiful and relaxing. Excellent breakfast in a lovely setting in the garden.

Room was nice and charming although with no views which is a pitty being in such a location. Check-in would be easier if done in the room location.

The top aspect of our stay was definitely the welcoming owners / staff ! It felt super friendly immediately, we could really feel that they liked welcoming people, we were truly taken care of, and it wasn't always the case in Italy !! From the smiles to the visit, the fruits and tea, the chat, etc. This only would make us come back ! The garden, location, design inside and outside at the Marsento location was amazing. Tasteful colors and furniture, lots of space, flowers and trees, chill out area in the shadow, and a beautiful rooftop terrace directly overlooking the sea. We only stayed for one afternoon but love every second of it !

The sleep / night setting could really be improved and we were a bit disappointed by that aspect unfortunately. The description said "extra large double bed", we expected a king sized bed, but it was barely a queen size... Maybe this is cultural, but we definitely expect a larger bed if it is described as "extra large" ! Also, the room was full of little lights either from inside the room or coming from outside (only curtains to block it).... and noisy !!! There was a constant "blowing" noise; we could not determine were it came from... So the sleep wasn't of the best quality unfortunately. I think that place could really be exceptional if these "sleep" aspects were properly taken care of !
