Nice boutique hotel. Free Parking. Very good internet. Good towels. Tea, coffee and free water for every room. Rooms are OK. Electric plugs by the bed. Beautiful dinning area and sitting area. The gardens are very nice with gorgeous roses. Staff is exceptional and helpful. That what makes the stay very pleasant. Overall very nice stay and we already recommend this hotel to our friends, who coming soon.

Breakfast is very minimal. Walking to the city is uphill. No trash baskets in rooms, only tiny in the bathroom. No trash baskets anywhere on the property. The staff did took our trash out, but it was a little embarrassing to give empty water bottle, oh a little plastic bag with trash to the receptionist...Not sure the reason for that.

Il Rondo is a hidden gem in the hospitality industry in Montelpulciano! What a unexpected pleasure it was to walk into a beautiful little hotel surrounded by beautiful gardens, with secured premises, and the friendliest staff ever! Only wish we could have stayed more than one night. The gardens and atmosphere were so peaceful and calming after a day of driving and weeks of being in tourist areas surrounded mostly by cement. The breakfast was just what I needed to start the day. I highly recommend Il Rondo but recommend you stay more than one night!

What's there not to like?!

Rondò hotel is a family run charming small hotel in Montepulchiano. It has the appeal of an old times Italian villa and feels authentic and fine in every facet. It is quiet, with great beds and a fantastic, welcoming and nice team which goes out of their way to accommodate your needs. It has a wonderful garden to relax after a long day out. If you like cats, Gino the gato is a cherry on top. What ever this hotel grading is, we felt we are in a 5 stars hotel. Highly recommended place to stay.

None. Perfect Italian hospitality.

It was the best place that I have stayed in Tuscany. Very peaceful environment, kind hospitality , family running business where you feel the closeness and feeling as you are at home. It was a remarkable place and will spend more days next year for sure. The garden was Gorgeous and the rooms were very clean. I can name it as second home who is looking for simplicity contains all the luxury. Highly recommend. Excellent place with a great performance vs price combination

Everything was perfect

A charming hotel to enjoy Tuscany, in the city of Montepulciano. It has few rooms in total, which makes the property charming. The room we stayed in was very cozy and rustic, typical of the region. Always very clean and with a family structure. With a very good breakfast, and the possibility of meeting new people from all over the world due to the style of the hotel. A garden with many flowers and plants, making it a very peaceful place. There is parking on the property.

Such a beautiful hotel, in a quiet location. The room was stunning - spotlessly clean, tastefully decorated, with everything we needed. Breakfast was delicious- a varied selection, catering for all tastes. The garden is wonderful oasis, away from the hustle and bustle of the centre of the town, but only ten minutes walk away. Our hosts were lovely - caring, professional and very polite. We couldn’t have wished for a better experience. If we return to Montepulciano, we would definitely return to this hotel. Thank you!

We didn't book a room in advance, we "dropped in unexpectedly", but Niccolo was very helpful and friendly. We went from one amazement to another. The hotel garden would be in any movie day or night. The tasteful colour of the rooms, the uniqueness of the furniture mixed with the modern world's tools amazed us. The breakfast is sophisticated and not only Italian breakfast lovers will find something to their liking. During our stay there, we also felt special. It is close to the historic city centre, for which we were given a map and lots of good advice. If you're in the area, don't miss it. Thanks for the experience!

Beautiful serene place. Location provided easy walking access to the town, avoiding the congestion in Montepulciano. Staff were very pleasant while breakfast was great.

Checkin was disturbing in that we were told we had already checked in and left. Not true and was resolved. However we were led to “our” room where confusion still reigned as it was clear the prior occupants had not vacated. Over the next hour or so this was also resolved. After that auspicious start things improved.

The location of the hotel was just perfect, close to the historical center and the beautiful nature. Breakfast was very good, good variety of food. Ladies were preparing a tasty coffee. The owner of the hotel was quite helpful, provided his recommendations around, booked a table in a restaurant and helped to buy nice homemade olive oil. Grazie mille! Definitely we will be back. We liked the nature around and the facility itself, very cosy!

Beautiful hotel with lovely grounds in a quiet location. The room was plenty big enough with a very comfortable bed and nice bathroom. Breakfast options were perfect for us. Laura who greeted us was absolutely lovely and a credit to the hotel.

Couldn't control the a/c in the room as on a central system, but it worked which was a blessing as it was very hot during the time we stayed.
