The piazza is the city centre. Major improvements in the city centre are underway. It’s an interesting place to stay with the new delightful steps to the old Rocco castle tower on the hill above. The Salvador Dali influence is fun and curious. It made me chuckle. The old interior design of the rooms was something from a glorious past. Very helpful and caring staff as if they are the Italian family owners. Good value. If you want something modern and pretentious this isn’t it. The espresso was very good. Breakfast service was helpful and attentive.

Breakfast had cakes and sweets which are of no interest me. Cereal choices were adequate. You could buy eggs and extras if you wish.

The Hotel is perfectly located in the city center, close to public transportation or shops. The staff is very kind, polite and helpful. The breakfast is plenty and various. There is a restaurant right next to the lobby, with delicious pizza and pasta. We had a great time there.

The only negative is the hotel room doors. There are no handles on the outside, you can only close it when leaving if you shut it, there is no way to lightly close it, so in the morning you will hear everyone on the floor leaving.

Great location. Calm, quiet, traditional Italian feeling. I enjoyed being out of the hectic crazy busy city and being in a place where people stop and chat, sit and visit. Where church bells ring ( and you can hear them!) Great food. Great hosts at hotel. Lovely breakfast.

Poor communication from Booking.com about a security leak that left me wondering if I still had a booking.

The room smelt of persons smoking in it and also the corridor the same, thus could have been another guest I really don’t know. It was reported to the staff. It was unpleasant as I never smoked and the smell made me feel uncomfortable. En-suite heating towel rail was not working, I assumed it had been turned off

We arrived late due to our flight and needed a place close to the airport for the night. This charming hotel, with its lovely Italian style, was the perfect choice. The location was super convenient, and the staff made us feel right at home—friendly and incredibly helpful. We had a peaceful night's sleep, making it an ideal spot for a quick rest before continuing our journey. Highly recommend!

We had a late flight into Trieste so this hotel was perfect for an over night stay. It could be reached by train, bus and taxi in about 15 minutes. The reception closes at 10pm but the owners were in contact and organised for us to collect the keys when we arrived after 10pm. The room was clean and comfortable and the shower was great. We enjoyed a good breakfast. The staff were all friendly and helpful, highly recommended

Good location in the middle of the centre, very close to the train station, garage for bicycles. Well equipped, clean room with toiletries and nice soft towels. Friendly staff. Because of the early check out we didn't eat breakfast but there is option to have it one.

The hotel is great. In the center near the beach, shops. The rooms are clean, tidy and have everything.Friendly staff. 👍🏼🥰

The only drawback is the smoke sensor that flickers and disturbs sleep a bit. But everything else is a 😃👍🏼

Wonderful location on the town square, of a quiet but interesting town. Being there during the local dance festival was a bonus. Trieste is only a short train ride away. Excellent choice of breakfast for 5 Euros

Central location with good access to the main attractions from the city. What i liked was the proximity to the highway, between days of driving and quick access to the municipality parking nearby, for free.
