The location is perfect to be in the centre of Milan it is literally behind the Duomo cathedral and galleria vittorio. All shops are within 2 to 5 mins walking distance plus the metro. The breakfast is simple and nice the sweet options were particular good with different options each day.

It is too far out to the main train stations. To stay in Milan the location is perfect, if you want to do day trips to other towns and cities and you need the main stations then not a good location and taxis are expensive. The closeness to other rooms and thin walls means you have to be quiet or silent.

Super location, I had a top floor suit which was small but very nice. Small restaurant so had to wait few mins for a table for a breakfast. The bathroom would do with a shelf for toiletries. Wanted to have a quick glass of wine before I leave at the rooftop terrace but the guy there refused to let me sit for 20mins at the table with the view even if the place was completely empty - that was the worst experience of my stay, otherwise i think the place is great, clean, quiete for good night sleep and superbly located.

The room that thought we reserved for 3 people, was only big enough for two. The pictures in the booking.com website are deceiving. The rooms are not as described and the hotel would only switch rooms but the room offered was not much better. The older rooms were definitely better than the newly refurbished rooms on the 11 floor. Shower was glass and you could see into it from the bedroom, great if you are a couple but we were to have our daughter with us, so not so good. And the third “bed” (couch) was very uncomfortable. We did not have a good impression. Location was great everything Elsa was good, just not happy with the room situation especially since I thought the rooms were as described on the web site especially for the price we paid for the room over $500 CAD per night

Very central, right next to the metro station and the main square, next to stores and restaurants. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The view was amazing from our room on the 9th floor.

A minimal renovation would be needed in the bathrooms. I wish there was a shoe horn in the rooms.

iH Hotels Milano Ambasciatori sets a high standard for hygiene and cleanliness. They pay attention to even the smallest details, making it an ideal choice for anyone who values a well-maintained environment. The location is perfect, just a short walk from the Duomo di Milano, and the breakfast was fantastic.

Sometimes there was a wait for the lift when going to or coming from the room. Opening the second lift, especially during peak hours, would be a great improvement.

Good location for access to the Duomo and shopping area as well as many restaurants at all budget levels. Was able to store luggage after check-out for almost an entire day without an issue. Room was clean. Bathroom was pretty nice, just watch out for that one step up getting in and out of it!

I am listing this on all my hotel reviews for Italy...the beds there are not super plush beds like you may find in other parts off the world and I found that the pillows are generally little flat pancakes. I assume this is a cultural thing or a budget room thing vs. what I am used to so it isn't necessarily a "what didn't I like" complaint as much as a "set your expectations about Italian beds and pillows" comment if you are used to a big fluffy bed and pillow topped mattress. ha ha ha

Really quiet location, yet only a stones throw away from all the hustle and bustle of the magnificent Duomo and surroundings. Spacious accommodation, very clean staff all pleasant and helpful with the added bonus of a very attractive rooftop bar area. All reasonably priced for a stay early April

Steps away from the Duomo, the hotel had all the amenities for a good stay. Staff was courteous, everything was exceptionally clean and the breakfast was good.

Great central location, everything you need in walking distance. Very close to Duomo cathedral and the main shops. The hotel has a beautiful bar terrace with lovely food and drinks. The staff were so helpful and friendly. Everything was spotlessly clean. Highly recommend and will stay here again if we return to Milan.

Can honestly say there was nothing we were unhappy with.

We stay at a room of the 9th floor with a side view of Duomo and it was beautiful! Also the breakfast was full and nice! The room was clean and comfortable and beautiful as well.

We ask for a taxi the first day and they cannot book us one although they tried they couldn't find someone on the phone as they told us! Anyway the last day they book us a taxi for the airport from the day before. I am just thinking that they must have a better conversation with a taxi company not something more.
